Miui on ep4g vote friday

Hi everyone, I know I saw on here somewhere that MIUI.us would be holding a vote for which phone would be done next, well this FRIDAY 10/7/2011, the vote will be counted. I recieved a email from them today so PLEASE everyone GO VOTE. Even if you yourself dont want to it on your phone, help those who do!
If another thread does exist about this, well the more who know the better!!!

I personally want to say thank you for what you did earlier today in another thread!! I dont like to get involved in those types of arguments but being able to be neutral and keep things calm defines a person's character!
Cant wait to get my hands on miui! and if you guys need beta testers I would pay money to be one!! lol... no seriously i would

There site was down every time I tried to go but they will send out a email. I do know for a FACT they have already begun working on ours. They received the phone last week. So hopefully it will be ready soon. I heard it's already bootable but in beta stage at the moment.

I wanted to ask everyone here for your help to get the ball rolling to get TEAM WHISKEY start developing for our phone. They just need a few more funds to get the phone for them to start cooking something REAL GOOD.
Now, if you had the Vibrant you know exactly who they are and what they can do.
If you don't just go to the Vibrant forum and search BIONIX 1.3.1. Best Vibrant rom made #PERIOD They brought Froyo to the Vibrant way before Tmobile release an update. They turned the Vibrant from a POS to a great phone.
So can they bring ICS to our phone before an update?, MAYBE. They definitely can if all the source is there. (once it's out)
They took a break, but now are making there way back to the scene.
Now this is not exactly a bounty because a donation is not necessarily needed, but would definitely help.
All you have to do is go to there webpage http://www.teamwhiskey.com/ and click on one of their adsense ads and they will get credit for it.
Now if you would like to donate you can register and donate there.
Either way I hope you guys help with at least a click of the mouse.
Believe me when I say that you won't regret it.
I know we already have some great devs here, but these guys are known for changing the game.

Yes i had the vibrant and it had team whiskey's roms running aside from team edt. They left a big footprint in those forums.

Just a minor reminder TeamWhiskey have left XDA and they do their DEV work in their own forum, so any one posting their work here should be done in General, and not in the DEV section
also XDA rules only allows direct link to the ROM files
and screen shots
changelogs are nice to have, but not necessary if it's outside work
it's a must if it's local in house XDA development

Are they going to support the galaxy nexus when and if it comes to Tmobile? Love their ROMs and were the only ones I placed on my phone I trust them to make any phone zing and rock. Just my 2 cents

On a side note ..
I don't blame them, with all the drama that has been going on lately I can tell why.
Some people just don't know how to act and take things personal when it's the internet and XDA is for mostly Development, Customization and 411 of phones. Not personal vendettas and haterism.
Anyways back to the topic....

If and when it comes out for T-Mobile they will. They announced it a couple weeks ago.
But this is for our SGS2 not Nexus, at least not yet.

That I would love to see one of these for nick from miui.us as that rom (once it became more stable) was a literal transformation of performance on my vibrant even compared to cm7.
I know that miui is a port based system and we need to wait for our cm7 port first but I'm willing to donate and/or in willing and ready to help with the process.

first im sorry this isnt the thread to be putting that in...
second off...
You have a few ways to get proprietary drivers to work with your device
1 from the manufacture (they are in the stock firmwares)
2 From another device of the same board type that has the Firmware you want (eg ics).
3 Samsung releases there driver code for there proprietary drivers (not going to happen)
4 reverse engineer them though machine code disassemble.
your best bet if u want ics before they release ics then use the samsung vendor proprietary drivers for this device...
The rest of the drivers will be compiled from source with values set for this device... (theirs a reason you have source code)..

Ill throw 25.00 in once were about 100 away..

I still own the sgs4g. The wife uses it. Stock froyo at that. Had it since before cwm was ready for it so I know the quality of your work. Unfortunately there are some serious trolls and assholes in this community. Come with a thick skin is all I can say. When I get home ill donate something. Guess that makes me retarded huh?

You know what, I'm really getting tired of people ****ting up these threads with their troll comments. We all know the lack of development for this phone is largely due to the attitudes of some of the people on the board.
The bottom line is - These developers are putting a lot of time and effort into giving you plenty of options on your phone and you aren't paying a nickel. If you don't want to donate, no one is judging you. But the least you can do is keep your mouth shut and allow the people who would like to see further development and a better atmosphere in this forum and on this phone try to do so.
I've administrated forum before. People that troll like they do here were banned and the forums as a whole were a better place to be. There was a much more positive atmosphere, it was FAR more constructive, and everyone contributed in any way they could. If you couldn't, you kept your nose out of it. This place needs to be regulated a little more diligently. No one wants their opinions stifled, but when you're being an asshole for the sake of being an asshole; you need to be removed from the board.
M&S, and others, thank you for all the hard work you've put into this phone so far. Please realize most people like myself that generally keep their mouth shut truly do appreciate the efforts put forth. Please don't allow the trolls to discourage you or your efforts.

Ive donated to eugene n tdj. I just wanna chime in. That wen raver was blind deving. His rom was solid for not even having the device. But we need devs to contually dev. Tdj has n much props to him. But no disrespect to whitehawkws n team kang n also eugene. But theyll dev one rom then sorta work on other devices. I wud love to see raver here but we need some assurance that he'll ck his threads once in a while and respond to users n update. Im not complaining just have seen us donate to 4 diff devs and to not have continuing help when asked in their threads. Thats my 2 cents.

Thanks to everyone's help we were able to get Team Sextape an E4GT (BIG thanks to Eso!) and a GNex... but that's only the beginning.
I'm bumping the thread as we're moving onto bigger fish:

The current goal is to try and get one or both by the end of the year.
This will likely benefit many of us already here as the GS3 or GN2 may be our next device.

He does have a phone... but part of the problem was that they did not have ones that they were dropping leaks for. I'm one of many trying to help resolve that.

For what its worth the threads that have been locked broke the rules on one way or another AFAIK... its hard to ask for a more legit donation request than this, sextape has contributed tons to e4gt development and garwynn is also crazy helpful around here, so this is pretty obviously both legit and a very good cause.... I will be chipping in a few bucks when I get to a computer as I'm not seeing the link in the xda app... big thanks to eso for the generous donation and to garwynn for matching funds...

thanks for understanding yes this is not a donations to satisfy or fuel or bad habits to to bring more development to our devices and as you maybe know Jelly Bean is around the corner to being official on the Galaxy Nexus and Epic 4g and other devices our Teams are dedicated to bringing all this to the community in the same matter that I brought Official I.C.S to the Nexus S 4g and Epic 4g Touch.

Kingxklick banned??

So I guess klick was someone who was banned literally 4 years ago. He posted an awesome kernel if not the best on this forum and he gets banned again for literally no reason? If I understand correctly in the past it was for copying work and asking for money 2 things which he hasn't done anything close to now.
Saw credit given in every post and didn't even have a donation link posted now.
Am I missing something here how is this right? The guy just wants to make the community better and seems like he's trying to make things right by not even having a donation link up.

He needs to stay banned, he is a con artist scammer and he took the community (and me) for a whole bunch of money. He is banned for life and I don't care if he has since been appointed to the United Nations security council; he should absolutely stay banned.

He needs to stay banned, he is a con artist scammer and he took the community (and me) for a whole bunch of money. He is banned for life and I don't care if he has since been appointed to the United Nations security council; he should absolutely stay banned.

Yah doesn't look like he's banned anywhere else so shouldn't be too hard. Just feel bad people do deserve a second chance. Im old enough to know he most likely pissed off the wrong people and most people followed suit after. Don't understand how he could of scammed anyone as bad as it sounds when it's donation based and why would you donate to the person in the first place if what they post is plagiarism. Yeah... I saw it when he first posted and thought about reporting but figured he got his permaban lifted somehow. I knew it was the same dude because of his link to twitter and all that. And yes... To everyone else... He was a thief and the phrase kang was coined after him. I believe in second chances but if he did things the quick, easy, and wrong way again then f*ck 'em! Still the same dishonest person he always was. We got better honest devs here anyways. Good riddance!

Had a link posted to his current source code, no donation link up, and credited people per change in his changelog.
