Hi - i've tried everything to get this ROM to boot (Ver 3.0) The md5 is correct for the zip file (downloaded it twice to be sure), i've tried overclocked, underclocked, default MHz, different themes etc etc. Did a manual full wipe + did a full wipe during instillation.... Is anyone else having the same issue ?
Thanks,
Jeff
When aroma finishes, choose "no" for reboot now and manually reboot. There was a thing or two more but don't remember. Read the last 10-15 pages.

Cheers mate - will give it a whirl now.

Yep that does the trick - page 207 of the thread. Sorry I missed it in my search.
Hit the "home" button from 4Ext Recovery Touch to and it asks if you want to reboot. Select "no" then reboot manually.
Thanks again,
Jeff

1. Boot into recovery (4ext is required)
2. Wipe all data (Cache, Dalvik e.t.c) (or use the ARHD superwipe zip)
3. Install from SD Card
3. Go through the Aroma installer (interactive installer, allows you to customise the ROM when flashing it)
4. *IMPORTANT*: IF THE INSTALLER ASKS YOU TO REBOOT SELECT NO AND MANUALLY REBOOT FROM 4ext RECOVERY!
5. Enjoy!

It does take a while to do the initial boot cause the phone had to do some 'housekeeping' on the first boot

Some people use a pin, carefully; others replace the volume rocker. Search for those posts.
If that doesn't work or if it will take too long, google adb and how to install it. There are plenty of tutorials for it.

First, boot your phone (stuck, of course)
Connect your phone to PC by USB
Use Android SDK and type in adb command to boot into recovery

Bootloop solved, but mic doesn't work during calls
I solved the bootloop issue by doing a wipe of cache partition which i found in some other thread
When i am making calls the other person can't hear my voice.
When i am recording voice using Voice Recorder the voice is being recorded. So its not a hardware problem.

Warrantee bit is 1. So I screwed my warrantee and don't even have root to show for it. I have tried the procedure 3 times now with no results. Thanks for any help.

Download TWRP from their website. Use version 2.6.3.3 that's the stable one. When you download, download the IMG.Tar one. Don't unzip it.
Put tablet into download mode and connect to odin. In Odin untick auto reboot, press AP and click the twrp you downloaded and flash.
Then reboot into recovery and flash SU zip

So when I do that, it stays on the Galaxy Note splashscreen forever. I hold down power again and it reboots.
Maybe i have to order of operations wrong. I can start over.
I have the KK update installed, all is working fine.
I need to flash TWRP, ChainFire AutoRoot, and SuperSU.
If I were to start over, I should flash Autoroot with Odin, then TWRP with Odin? Then I should be able to boot into recovery with your instructions and flash the SuperSU zip file in recovery?
Sorry, normally this stuff is easy for me. Not sure why I am struggling so much here.

HOW TO INSTALL CWM?
Unlock your bootloader else flashing via fastboot will be impossible
Upgrade your phone to the latest available stock rom (to get latest bootloader and baseband firmware)
Download ClockworkMod Recovery for your specific variant
Reboot into your bootloader (Variant 1: adb reboot bootloader, Variant 2: Disconnect USB-Cable, Power phone down, hold Vol- and replug the USB-Cable)
Flash ClockworkMod Recovery via fastboot. (fastboot flash recovery cwm-6.0.5.1_2015XXXX_h60_lXX.img)
Reboot (fastboot reboot)
WHERE TO GET CWM?
For Lollipop (Android 5.1, EMUI >= 3.1) based ROMs:
H60-L02 + H60-L03 + H60-L11 + H60-L12 + H60-L21: not available yet
H60-L01 + H60-L04: cwm-6.0.5.1_20150926_h60_l04_lollipop.img
For Kitkat (Android 4.4, EMUI <= 3.0) based ROMs:
H60-L02 + H60-L03 + H60-L11 + H60-L12 + H60-L21: cwm-6.0.5.1_20150321_h60_l02.img - 9.43 MB
H60-L01 + H60-L04: cwm-6.0.5.1_20150321_h60_l04.img - 9.43 MB
HOW TO USE CWM?
- First variant: Power off phone, then hold Volume+ and Power Buttons at same time till Honor logo appears
- Second variant: adb reboot recovery
Thanks. Good work. Any chance of increasing the font size?

CWM -6.0.5.1_20150321_h60_l04.img DOESN'T WORK
Hello, I flashed CWM -6.0.5.1_20150321_h60_l04.img onto my device H60-L04 after unlocking the bootloader. I tried both ways i.e by manual command line as directed by Codeworkx in the first post , which how ever didn't work... every time I hold down the power button + volume up button the phone goes into boot loop constantly displaying the HONOR logo for 3 times then boots back into the ROM, after many tries I thought of doing the same using Multitool which also results into same outcome, forcefully I had to flash cwm 6.0.5.0 from Multitool and it works properly though I haven't tried flashing custom ROM on the device yet. Please advise what could be wrong as I'm not able to figure out as I dont want to brick my device. I'm currently on EMUI 2.3 rooted using multitool.
Upgrade to b310/b370 before flashing cwm to get the latest bootloader. Then it should work.

L04 yes? Download this: http://d-h.st/qErv (credits go to codeworkx). Extract update.app to your internal storage or micro-sd card in a directory named dload. Turn the phone off then hold all 3 buttons (power and volume +/-) for 5 seconds. Once it boots up it will install a fresh version of B370. This should wipe everything so make a backup first.
You don't need to relock anything.
Currently I have a B390 and CWM 6.0.5.1 ( codeworx ) . If I want to come back from B390 to B380 , it should now upload Stock recovery for B380 or B390 ? I Loading both and unroot and constantly throws me an error in recovery during installation B380.

Could you add support for the CUST partition ? This partition is not included in the backup and is not available for format. This feature could be usefull because the partition has 512MB and a custom rom could use it to add stuff.
During clearing cache using stock recovery. Not the usual clearing cache it takes 5 mins so i think i need to reboot it by press and holding the power button. When i start my phone, after the boot logo, instead of the usual loading screen, sleeping andriod logo appeared and i stuck on it.
Please help me. Any suggestion and recommendation is highly appreciated. TIA.

And clearing cache in stock recovery is very slow, so you likely corrupted something by rebooting before it was completed and returned to main screen

it says <waiting for the device>
I did the exact same thing not realizing it can take up to 15 minutes for the cache to clear. What I did to recover was boot into fastboot. Get my PC to recognized my phone. The ran the fast boot tool from the command line. From there I fixed my cache partition by running the fastboot erase cache command. After that I downloaded the stock recovery for the latest build then flashed that. After that I was then able to boot into adb mode from stock recovery. Then I downloaded the factory image of the latest build for my model of phone from Asus website it was around 1gb. From there I placed it into my adb directory and ran the adb sideload nameOfImage.zip and that side loaded the image back onto my phone fully recovering it. And nothing was last everything remained intact. I did not need to do a full wipe or anything and I was back up and running.
