im loving the progression and functionality that the polished lockscreen of Stericson's has. However, it is only compatible with Cyanogen Rom's and i am happy using Jacheroski 2.0, being very fluid and responsive.
is there any chance of being able to have the separate lockscreen on jachero roms anytime soon? i searched around but couldnt find a definitive answer.

theres gotta be a way of doing it..soo it cannot act as a theme and be pushed into the framework? any chance JAC can support this feature?
it's tied into cyans source, stericson has provided his source on his git so it can be ported to other roms but he's not going to support it. Since it's tied into the framework of a build I doubt it could be ported to hero with out some major modification, or without making it into a stand alone apk, and very highly doubtful that it could be done without having the htc source.
This option is currently available in Cyonogenmod and possibly other AOSP roms, but I have yet to find a Sense rom with this ability. I realize most people do not need this option, but I have spent hours looking for alternatives, and always end up having to come back to a rom that supports this. Is there anyway for me to add this on my own? Or is it even possible for devs to include this with a Sense rom yet?
I'm currently using the IceColdSandwich http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1450962 rom with my DHD. I'd love to use a JB rom for daily use but I cannot live without Backlight Notification anymore, it's just so useful (for those who dont know: softkeys are lit when you have a text or an anunswered call).
Why don't all roms have this feature? Is it difficult to implement? Does anyone know a JB rom that has it or at least a kernel that works with this:

I don't want to complain, just want to know how it works/ if its hard to implement, perhaps a rom cook can explain?
I really like the look of aosp and the features of TW. I would get fixed up on one for a week and then think that I was missing out on a feature of the other. I'm looking for a ROM that bridges that gap. A Rom with aosp look and TW features. Any suggestions?
hey guys i was wondering if anyone new if the same volume hack that was in
the tweaked rom exist for maybe an aosp rom. i really like the rom but i am an aosp guy.
the reason i am still on it is because the volume increase is real and actually makes a deference.
i have tried things like n.e.a.k kernel on aosp roms but didn't hear a difference. so thats why i want the one used in the
touchwiz rom..
