Hi, guys.
Really. i like CM9 and beta 3 is much better than 2 or alphas. But it was so good to answer call by Home Button. Is it possible to have this function in CM9, maybe through non-CM programms.
Thanx anyway.

Is it possible to enable on screen buttons when you're running ics on the Droid incredible 2? If it is, then please explain how it is done because I'm curious about how it works.
It's the best! Beats the rest!
You can flash AOKP, and there are options in ROM control, but I think it's a dumb idea for our phone because the buttons take up a LOT of space.
Hello fellows, just wanted to ask if there is any way to bring ICS soft buttons to a Gingerbread rom, specifically Oxygen. Though I like ICS roms, they are still sort of unstable from my experience and tend to reboot exactly when I really need the phone -.- So I prefer the speed and stability of GB roms but my hardware buttons are really barely hanging on and thus I might be forced to switch again to ICS which I don't want to atm. I found the button saviour app which is nice but doesn't really do the same job as original ICS soft keys. Any help is apreciated!
Was going to originally post this in the actual ROM thread but I just made my account so it wouldn't let me. I'm wondering how (if even possible) I would go about getting rid of the virtual buttons under the dock (back, home, recent apps). They take up a lot of space on the screen and are incredibly unnecessary when I already have hardware buttons. I looked everywhere so I figure its either not an option or I'm blind. Is it an Apex setting or what?
I know there are a couple other JB roms that don't have these virtual buttons that I have flashed but this one hands down has the best features and is the most smooth not to mention the working camera. The only other camera mod is preludedrews and that one has very limited customization so I would prefer to stick with this one.
bump!
Hmm, working camera, soft keys? What ROM are you on? You may still be on an ICS ROM.
Correct me if I'm wrong

No there are new BlackBean roms that have cameras working at 8mp and onscreen controls (which I hate). Search for BlackBean. He has a Baked and AOKP

I've been running the CM9 ROM now for a few months.
I noticed that sometimes when I'm tapping the screen fast to type or trying to hit multiple on-screen buttons for a GBC rom that the area I last touched becomes unusable until I lock and then unlock the phone.
Is that a common bug with the rom or is it related to my apps?
Thanks!
FYI: just wondering if anyone can recommend a more stable rom that is more recent. I haven't had time to keep up with the releases on here, but see there is now 'Original' development and Regular development. What's the difference?
Original dev is built from source.
A stable sense Rom is mysense v.
A stable jb Rom is paranoid android.
Hi. What are the bugs on CM roms? I know camera stuff and HDMI, what else? All these threads are so messy that I can't find it... Also what is the best CM9 rom? I've tried FXP but home button was not working... I love CM9 (even more than 10 because of smoothness) and I'd like to use it... AOKP/AOSP rom will suit too
Thank you.

cm11 Known BUG:
[1] video playback is still a problem, and some players are available.
[2] may restart black screen, after waiting some time to recover.
[3] art mode gapps may fc.
Dude,
Out of all the current Cm builds the Semc-U Cm10.1 seems to have the least amount of bugs.
Everything works camera, HDMI etc.
