Installing JB on customed HOX - HTC One X

Hey all,
Since my phone has modified stock rom (apparently), my phone downloaded the JB update, but is unable to install it.
Tried to go back to stock recovery and everything, didn't help.
So what I did is to transfer the update file to my computer (name is: OTA_ENDEAVOR_U_JB_45_S_Chunghwa_3.14.751.20-2.18.751.7_release_2928741gbid6ybg5q8r5ug).
Anybody knows how can I install it from the computer so it updates? thanks.

[Q] Install an OTA without RUU

So I've managed to acquire the OTA for my CID (HTC__K18) but I can't seem to be able to flash it. There is no RUU available.
I've got as far as flashing the firmware.zip, which worked, but not the ROM itself.
Even with stock recovery and boot, when I tried flashing the rom as update.zip through the stock recovery it just says 'OEM:00' and reboots normally.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
Can I use customRUU to flash it? Any idea how?
(Clarification: This is NOT a JellyBean update, it's 4.0.4 and the reason I want to flash it is I need to turn it in to repairs and I want to go back to stock).

[Q] Help: JellyBean Update Failed

Good day. I am trying to update my HOX with official JellyBean via OTA. My CID is HTC_044. I received an update prompt and download a small file. It rebooted my phone and then nothing happened. An hour had passed? What am I doing wrong? I am on stock Rom by the way
You need stock recovery.
You need an unmodified stock ROM. Are you sure you didn't modify it somehow like removing an app or updating a system app?
AFAIK the jb update consists of a small preparatory file which is then followed by the main update.
I guess what you downloaded is that first smaller file. The actual update should pop up eventually.

[Q] Do I have to install stock to flash?

Hello
I'm wishing to install this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1890125
But it says I have to install the stock JB ROM since I'm on GB (I was never able to update, phone came rooted and unlocked, Kies doesn't recognise it). I'm worried that installing the stock ROM will relock my phone, which would be an utter pain in the ass. Do I have to install JB before flashing? Or should I just go with another ROM?
Thanks

[Q] Stock ROMs flashing with Odin have errors

Hey guys ... I had a new GS3 from Samsung, so it had 4.3. I flashed a 4.1 stock ROM via Odin, but now when I turn on the phone, I get constant messages about various android processes failing and needing to be stopped. I have since tried another stock ROM and the same thing is happening. Does anyone have any idea what I should do? Maybe flash the latest stock ROM to go back to 4.3? I was trying to revert so I could root and flash a custom ROM but I can't do anything on this right now. I can get back into Download mode though. Please explain things as best as possible as, as you can tell, I clearly don't understand this.
I managed to use the root toolkit to install TWRP, but no custom roms I flash get past the boot screen. So I can get into TWRP and I can get into download mode. I have Odin and I'm not sure where to go from here.

[Q] Update to 4.4.4 help Arc S

Hi
Hope you can help. My aim originally was to upgrade from 4.0.3 to Slimkat 4.4.4 but I have never done anything like this before and I have messed it up. I was using this guide http://droidors.com/2014/07/07/upda...android-4-4-4-kitkat-with-slimkat-custom-rom/ but deviated from it when the guide didn't work for me.
I upgraded to 4.0.4 using PC Companion.
I unlocked the bootloader on my Arc S and rooted using Eroot. Then I tried to install a custom recovery from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1345741&page=2 which said I had to go back to 2.3.4. I did this using Emma from Sony Mobile.
After the custom recovery tool installed I loaded the Slimkat files onto the sd card and booted to the recovery mode but got an error when trying to install Slimkat (it said something about the update is for LT18i but my device is "" (which it isn't?!)
Anyway after that didn't work I wanted to just go back to normal 4.0.4. I couldn't get Backup TA working before I unlocked the bootloader so I have lost the DRM keys.
The custom ROMs I have seen all seem to require stock 4.0.4 so I seem to be stuck on 2.3.4.
I am so confused, if anyone can help either with getting me back to a version of 4.0.4 or my original goal of Slimkat that would be much appreciated.
Thank you

You can anytime revert back to 4.0.4 stock rom:
1. download flashtool http://www.flashtool.net/ if you don't have it already.
2. download stock firmware from http://www.4shared.com/rar/cwrJE_jE/Lt18i_41B0587_1254-8596_Generi.html?refurl=d1url
3. Placing firmware in flashtool. Note: only .ftf format files to be placed. If the file is of .rar/.zip then extract it to get .ftf file
Copy .ftf to C:/>flashtool>firmwares
4. Run Flashtool>Click on the flashing button>Select flashmode>Ok
On they very left side you'd see the firmware name and version. In the middle the contents of it and on the very right side some options. Mark them as shown below.
5. Select OK. Now flashtool will prepare files and ask you to connect your phone. Follow the steps.
On devices with no hardware back key, use volume down key while connecting
OR
after that use this to root:
http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Andro...Smartphones-2011-and-2012-Xperias/td-p/287857
then you can flash any 4.4.4 rom
