[Q] Best Camera for Incredible

What's the opinion on best camera for the Dinc? Especially for low light. I can't stand the overexposure on indoor flash pics, regardless my brightness settings. Thanks.
I'm using the stock AOSP cam currently, its nice but doesn't have many "features". For cool effects the vignette app is pretty great.

My favorite is pudding cam. The only drawback is all the menus are in Korean or something and I have no idea what anything says. It does take beautiful photos though and it has lots of options of camera and film types.

The Sense 2 Rom's camera is awesome.. if using other Rom's try "Camera FX Zoom"

The one I use for any flash stuff is camera360 ultimate, with the light HDR setting it does a good job of eliminating those crazy over exposed flash pics. It also saves the originals so you can edit them with picsay pro. Which is by far the best post editing app I've found.

I like the Z camera, but haven't found a version that works on other ROMs.
Found this over in the Android Apps and Games forum. It's the Sense 3.0 camera for Sense 2.0. Don't know if it works as I'm currently on SR4.

I don't know about still pictures, but I manages to get much better video and more importantly audio using the app "lgcamera."

Thanks Stoney, I've heard that too. To risk sounding green, how do you pull the camera and install it?

Just unzip the rom and look for the .apk that you want. Usually they are in a folder called 'app' or something like that.
Then use root explore to put it in your system/app directory on your device.
You may need to set the permissions correctly.
Reboot and enjoy!

cool.. so this actually decreases the flash level?.. does it do so by only using one of the flash instead of both or does it just use a lower lighting?

[SOLVED] Hookah Smoking Boot Animation for EI22!

Hey,
For anyone that has the time/interest in making a boot animation, can you please cook up something good that is related to hookah?
Thanks!
Perhaps something with this?

Is this a single picture or do you have a series of picture frames? I can probibly cook up a boot pic with this picture to pop up but without other frames there will be no animation
Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk
I will come up with something when I get home for you, least I can do for MinimalBlack man, did you want that exact image? I could probably invert the colors so that it isn't so bright for a boot animation if you like.
I believe that there is a program to extract the single frames out of a .gif image, no?
That is all that I have...found it on google. The animation would be great.
Saramon, inverting the colors is a brilliant idea, now that I think of it lol
Ya, I forget the name of it off the top of my head that I use, but basically you have to split the gif, and convert each image to a .png. I have done a few before, but I am at work and don't have access to the stuffs I needs
Things are underway, I needed to download adobe premiere to invert the colors, once that is done, I should have this made in about an hour or so for yas
I know this may be alil extra but would you be able to add like the android logo to the smoke when they blow it?
Um, that would be a little beyond me... I got a few friends though that do that sort of stuff, I will do the one up there, and will run it past them to see if they can do that. Video editing was never my forte...
Well so much for inverting colors, I can't find a software that will do it for free, unless it only does half the image. So I will just put the white one up, and see what I can do about getting the colors inverted with my graphic design buddies, they may have software I don't. Adobe premiere would do it, but I am on 32 bit, if anyone has a 64 and wants to do it and send it back to me I would appreciate it.

Resize it to correct resolution you need, which likely differs by how you have your wallpaper set up. ie. infinite scroll, no scroll etc.
Paint.net, GIMP, Photoshop, whatever. Not sure what app can do this on the phone itself though but I'm sure if you look you'll figure it out.
Problem is I generally set from gallery and irrespective of the Res. Of the wallpaper it always crops.
Am I missing something ? How do you set wallpapers??
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
Get this
Check out "Wallpaper Wizardrii" - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.twistedapps.wallpaperwizardriI
And when you choose set, choose scale, it will set the entire image as your wallpaper
Haven found a way to do it otherwise unless image is already the exact resolution needed. This app is easy to use tho, and there are MANY others like it, check some out
If I find a way to do it from stock, gallery I'll let you know, but I dint think it's possible without cropping. Maybe try quick pic as you gallery? I think that has, ability to resize to specific resolution and set image as wallpaper but I haven't used in a while, quick pic is a great gallery app

You have you screen res changed?
If you have your resolution changed that greatly affects many apps "compatibility" issues in play store
Yeah. mine is set to 280 Dpi... It affects play store app compatibility ?

Then change it back, it should still work I think

Full screen camera.

I HATE the stock ICS camera apk.
Almost half of the screen is waisted by the gray rectangle.
However, the HTC camera apk features full screen. And It has alot of useful features.
Is there an all that has full screen pictures while taking video and pictures THAT WORKS and has a wide range of features. I have checked the play store but there isn't any app that is as responsive as the stock camera. I have found one app that offers full screen but it's ehh.
Has anyone found a great alternative???

But I still wish it can have the full screen pictures and videos. I feel like I bought a bad phone every time I see dad's HTC phone camera APK turn on.

What do u mean how???
I'm using the Galaxy Nexus. i515.
If u got ICS 4.x.x then u have to HOLD LOCK and VOLUME DOWN together at the same time.
Then wait for a flash and done.
If u are below 4.x.x then this can be done and u'll need an alternative way.
Just because the viewing area is bigger on one camera doesnt mean that the pictures turn out any bigger.
For example...
Stock Camera...
Camera Zoom FX
Camera FV-5
Shot Control
BTW, can anyone guess what size the different cartridges are?

Interesting... You think you phone is crap because the image preview on the camera (just one app) doesn't take up the whole screen? You know what they stay, 'Its not the size that counts. Its the how you use it.'
Of all the camera apps i have i prefer Shot Control. It has a lot of features and is quite a bit of customization. It takes better pics than the rest of them yet has the smallest preview screen.
I think you are focusing too much on the aesthetics of the app.
