Canadian Users What Roms Are You Using... - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

Ok.. I was going to make a Poll but decided not to...All we need here is Canadian GS3 I747M model
Is what roms are you using and post the links to that Rom... so It's all in one place...
So it should be like this...
ex:
Your Phone Provider : Rogers
Rom : Post the link <--- Here
Mods if any : Post the link <--- Here
Themes if any : Post the link <-- Here
Extra Info : if any Comments <-- Here
Recovery : Post the Link <-- Here
If this has helped you Hit Thanks Please --->

Rom : Task and Ktoonsez AOKP JB
Mods if any : KT747 10/31 kernel overclocked/undervolted
Themes if any : none
The rest: So I'm an admitted flashaholic and would estimate I flash probably 2-3x per week in the past 2 years. I would say that Task's rom (which I'm currently using) is probably the most polished and as close to perfection as I've experienced in this time. I've seen no other developer who pushes out more support or updates than this guy and I would have no problem highly recommending anyone to try it.
One word of caution if you do, read the faq and instructions thoroughly as questions without doing some of your own research are quickly flamed in that thread.

I have tried many (10+) of the roms for both ICS and JB on the development page and can report that the Triune Rom for ICS plays very nicely with Bell phones http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1796502 and had no issues.
Several of the others were also problem free and its a matter of visuals, features and themes that differentiate them.
Always do a nandroid back up (cwm or similar) first, flash a new rom and try it on for size and feel -- keep what you like, revert back to your cwm backup for any you don't. Do remember to clear cache davlik cache and data reset if you are testing roms.-- only add your contacts. photos etc. after you've done messing around (or have a good TB and dropbox back up).
Always post questions for help and clarification first before flashing -- each thread has helpful regulars. Better to ask for help before than trying to solve a soft brick after! The phone is hard to truly kill -- just don't flash i9300 stuff or modems meant for other variants. Nearly all the custom roms are free of modems for this reason. Thus, flashing the rom will leave your base, stock modem in place. Bell's ICS LH1 modem works with JB derived roms fine.
I have also tried both the Faux and the KT747 kernels for ICS and found the KT747 more robust and did not heat the phone compared to Faux.
I have not flashed any CM10 or AOKP based roms nor kernels, so I have no basis for comparison -- my comparison is stock Samsung derived ICS and JB leaked roms.

Hi guys, any particular reason why you decided to start a new thread? Also, is Fugu kernel still not mature enough to be in the kitchen?

For people who are wondering:
Which is the newest gingerbread?

Yes agreed. The themes will come. I wanted this released as the kitchen was closed for a long while. The beta will open with themes and extras that we pick up. Then they will move into open once they are proved good.

Reminisce : Lookin' forward to the update tonight.
Look there's 5 people , & guess what ? It was from another Samsung Device as well
Remember , for 10 minute’s do not touch the ROM just let it sit it’ll make a huge difference speed wise .
Flash this ROM , let it sit for about 10 minute's then boot into recovery
and download this theme and then let it boot . It will give you the full ICS expierence , i was having problem's inserting it into the ROM so just after you flash the ROM flash the theme as well .

This is an awesome ROM. Super nice and slick. Runs super smooth and great battery life. It looks super sexy. It made my phone better colors and better sound. It is now louder. This is the best ROM I have ever used!

2 rom releases in one nightI dont believe my eyes
Been running this rom for a couple days now and it is fast stable and solid. Rev out in a lot of hard work on it and it shows. Have fun with it folks!!! Make sure you flash the ICS crt from the theme thread after you flash the theme. Also the tiny battery % mod works as well (must be flashed AFTER the theme) AND....if you want the 14 toggles just push the systemui.apk form jugs (thanks team KANG) BEFORE flashing the theme. Of course the rom is just fine out of the box. But that is as always personal preference.
One more thing...MMS send perfectly on this rom on wifi calling, unlike other ROMs I've tried it on.
Good times debloating this... you got sooo scared lol
Thnx

I thought the same when i read the title but atleast its fully compiled from sources, so good on anarkia for doing that and not theming aokp to release a new ROM. Though the mdpi touch seems like an inspiration from something i know of . cheers

can i use glitch kernel with this? i am not really a fan of semaphore... but i am a fan of aokp build.

You can change kernel based on your preference from recovery.
The only suggestion is to always back up everything.

all right then.... flashing after finished downloading...
about the bootloader, suppose that i wanted to change to other rom, can i just use the same bootloader or do i have to downgrade it? if i have to downgrade it, is it possible to do so???
anyway, sixstring mentioned that b29 is quite buggy that he only released the fascinate version, is it true? or do i have to try it myself?
thanks for the work by the way... keep up
Info
To be honest I used much more than the b28, this does not assure stability even though it is very promising.
The fun is to experiment.
all right cool. i just have to make nandroid backup as this current rom is the only rom that suits my needs and really does what the dev said.....

Data drops seem to be a persistent problem with TMO users on 4.3. Not sure if anyone has found a solution yet.

Using stock up kernel. Great performance and everything is really working with this kernel. I'll try your rom this weekend.

My sim card does not get detected when I flash MJ6. I have the MJ6 modem, and when I check mobile settings for APN, says I need to insert SIM card. I have I337 using AT&T with IMEI number intact.
This occurred using 1.0 and 1.1. I did a clean flash multiple times with wiping data/cache/dalvik cache each time. When I revert back to nandroid of MF3 or Google Play 4.3, my signal comes back.
Anyone else have this happening?
Have you verified the apn settings?

Can't, when I try to access from the menu, it says I need a sim card. I know the card I have is good, it works again when I revert to backup. I tried removing and putting back the sim too while I was on the 1.1 build.

You aren't alone with this problem, there's something wrong and I had similar issues and some more folks too. If you check graviton ROM thread you will see some posts describing the same issue with screen shots.
