[Q] EB13 Deodexed - boot animations

So with the stock EB13 deodexed can we just replace the bootani files to change the boot animation now?

No you need a modified kernel to do that. If the kernel supports a boot ani your stock animation will show a vertical black box flickering with the word android in it

I believe that both the dual file system eb13 kernel and the genocide kernel support custom boot animations. Flash one of them and you should be good to go.

Is there any way I could get the stock boot animation and flash it over?
I've googled it for about a hr last night couldn't find it.

There is a thread in here where a guy packed the stock animation into a zip search it in here stock boot animation

[Q] nyandroid bootanimation logcat will it work on stock ROM.

Some one on another thread told me it won't work on stock ROM cuz the original Samsung bootanimation is .qmg and I already tried twice to flash it and nothing.can someone back this up cuz I really wanted that cute nyandroid bootanimation or is there any way to install it on stock ROM

[REQ] Telus T989D system dump

I was wondering if anyone has yet to get a system dump up on to XDA for the T989D. If it's identical to the T989, wouldn't it be as easily rooted and /system dumped? There's not much discussion on these forums in regards to any of both for the Telus variant.

I have the opensource.zip but it doesn't have the bootanimation.

the stock kernel in the dev forum has the boot animation on it

For some reason that kernel just shows Tells, then back to TMo after a few seconds. Also, was having problems with su once I installed that. I'm on jugz right now- I'll just pull the bootanim from Telus- got a fetish for international carriers!

boot splash for carrier is in the kernel. the animation is in rom at /system/media

I know. That's precisely what I'm searching for - I have the T-Mobile variant, but not the Telus one, and so no public ROM for Telus = no go for /system/media for me

[Q] crt animation?

Do any of the rooms have the crt animation? If so which ones? If not then I guess ill make a crt animation framework mod for the stock from a little later.

Nobody has a ROM with CRT yet. I'd be very appreciative if you made a flashable zip for a stock ROM.

ok well im working on making a crt animation for the STOCK rom give me about 30 min or less ill have it up

heres crt animation for stock rom. sent me in a bootloop but im completely stock odexed that may be the problem so if you flash youve been warned please make a backup i am no responsible. http://www.mediafire.com/?xt8dasmhu919mq2

[Q] Stock rooted sprint galaxy s3 15 toggle mod?

Does anyone know how to get 15 toggles on the notification menu for stock rom on rooted sprint galaxy s3 on 4.1.1? I saw a post for the international version and people said it worked for the sprint version as well, but when i falsh that zip i get an ooperation failed message

Check the morpholgy post in themes/apps, there is a link to download lidroid which enables the 15 toggle mod.
