[REQ] Method to hide taskbar on lockscreen?

I was wondering if there is any way to hide the taskbar when the screen is locked, but have it shown when using the phone. It would make my phone look absolutely amazing. I'm using the clear lockscreen mod, with the Sprint banner replaced by a space. If there is a way to do this, it would basically make the phone a digital picture frame with a clock on it. See the screen for what I mean.
I didn't want a new thread, but is there any way to extend the timer before the screen turns off before you unlock the device?

Are you talking about the screen timeout? menu - settings - display?
No, I mean the base slide lock screen, from when you first turn on the device. Is there a way to control how long it will display the clock and wallpaper before turning the screen off due to no entry?

Lock screen weather and clock position

Is there any way to change the position of clock and weather on lock screen from top to bottom. I don't understand why did Samsung remove this very useful feature that was available on Note 1. Or I am just stupid and the setting is somewhere in Settings menu?
Still looking..
Any luck yet ?
If yes, can you please direct me... thanks

4.3 rooted, Off Center Lock Screen Clock

I just recently rooted to 4.3 and I just noticed today that my lock screen clock is off center. It appears to be aligned to the left. Has anyone else noticed this or know of a fix to align this?
thanks!

I see the same thing( non-root ). I couldn't find an option to center it.
I did set the Clock size from Small to Large in the Lock screen widgets, and it made it look a little better.
Clock Left Alignment
Yeah I shiver every time I go to unlock my phone with the clock off center. I have looked around a bit to see if I could change the settings but as said before it only gives the option to change Size and add date. I just received a text message and it shows on my lock screen and I can see why they put it more to the left but if I turn off the text preview I thought it may correct the clock.
I just updated this morning and will search around but I am still trying to figure out a few things. If anyone has a fix for the following i would <3 you!
1. I hate the text messaging images now(picture of contact) any way to turn off?
2. I want the status bar text preview but not on my lock screen. Option combines the preview for the status bar and lock screen.
3. I dont want the notification box to open on my lock screen. "New Message"
If anyone has any advice or would like to tell me to suck it up please let me know!

Why pull down of status bar in lock screen possible?

Hello,
I was a bit surprised when I found out that I can pull down my status bar while my s4 mini is locked - on my old s3 it was not possible.
It seems to me that it doesn't match the use of a lockscreen...
Can I anyhow deactivate this?
Thanks!

If you use a password/pin/pattern lock, that should disable the pull down.

Just tried - yes, that works... thanks! But can you tell me why it is possible if I don't use it?
Its always possible if you don't have a secure lock screen. It's been like that on my previous Galaxy S phones including the S3. I think its just so you can view any notifications without the need to unlock the device that's all.
Sent from a "Galaxy" far, far away with my Ultra Ray Gun
Well... I think it a design decision by Google... No secure lock = access to your phone anyways = why bother, let have pull down menu enabled....
I also wish there was a feature to disabling it with insecure lockscreen...
AFAIK, This has been a feature of Android starting from Ice Cream Sandwich. If you don't have a secure lockscreen, then the statusbar can be pulled down in the lockscreen
If you'd rather not have a lock pin then you can use a 3rd party lock screen app like widgetlocker. I use it with its roothelper feature to disable the notification curtain when locked.
Now if only Kevin would add this feature to Nova Launcher so my kids couldn't change any of my settings! Come on Kevin!

Help - Htc One X

Hey guys! I need some help here :3
I'm a noob at phones so I hope you guys go easy on me >_>
Alright, I got the HTC one X a few weeks back and I noticed a problem today after changing a theme using the "Themer launcher" app. I changed the lock screen (with the ring) to the music lock screen and only the ring was on the screen which I can pull to unlock but there are no shortcut icons music widget that was usually there.. I tried it with all the lock screens and its the same thing.
The lock screen shortcuts are set to "Show launch bar shortcuts".
Can anyone help?
