I have a rooted n7105, running an unbranded Singapore custom rom..im in Australia,so I want to flash to an aussie modem...I have philz recovery...do I need to wipe anything before I install the zip file, or just flash it? thanks in advance

I have here a samsung note 2 gt-n7100 from Globe telecom (philippines) which has the following software details:
Android 4.3
Baseband n7100xxuena1
Got this OTA from the time it was released..
The problem is i have tried flashing recovery both cwm and twrp but it doesnt seem to get installed, i flashed 6 times already by odin. And whenever i boot my fone to recovery I still get the stock recovery from samsung. Do you have any idea whether the phone is locked and prohibited from any flashing?
I am trying to root and install custom rom but still no lock. I am really stuck.
I already have installed a custom rom to sghi747 and i9305 before so im not a newbie to most procedures.
Can anyone help / enlighten me?
SOLVED guys
1. downloaded and installed stock from for n7100 (singapore) via Odin
2. flash Philz Recovery
3. Flash Mr.Luong custom rom.
Hello, i have problems when try to install roms in my N7105.
I install this rom stock by Odin -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2745828
then i install the Custom Recovery TWRP 2.7.0.2 and supersu, this rom works well, recognizes the sim card, but when i try to install any rom, sim card is not working, i try to flash in recovery mk7 modem and others but still the same.
Can anyone help me? Thanks and sorry for my english :angel:

Sorry guys if I posted in the wrong place... I'm new around here and I needed help. I just rooted my phone using the Odin method and I'm having trouble on putting a custom ROM on it (Jedi Elite KK ROM). If anyone could that would be much appreciated

Besides rooting you also need to odin flash twrp
recovery before you can flash any custom roms.
Here is the direct download link to the Odin flash TWRP custom recovery:

After you have twrp recovery will be able to successfully flash custom roms
using TWRP custom recovery.

I tried installing clockwork mod via there app but they don't appear to have a comparable version for my device. It looks like philz touch recovery is my best bet. Is there a version of philz touch recovery that works on the GT-N5100 running 4.4.2? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You have to follow the rom developers instructions as to which rom you are flashing. If they say use cwm or philz, they should have the correct one listed.

You can also use TWRP ,its as good as Philz...
