Awesome! Although EVO is tempting as well.
The development is going to be so cluttered, having different variants of CDMA even. lol I'll try to get ahold of the gNex, but we'll see how it pans out.
Finally GN in Sprint. The only problem I am on contract still with the NS4G. I guess I will just wait for the Nexus number 4.
Congrats to Sprint. Im still wondering when TMO will get a US copy. Weird that N1 and NS were first on TMO and now theyve been dropped completely for GNex

Just ordered mine, love the Nexus S but hated the small screen. Went from an EVO 4G to it. I missed that large screen.
Going to pre order mine in a bit... can't wait to have a bigger screen again(went from evo 3d to ns4g)
Quick question for those that pre ordered...

Did the charge you upgrade fee?
What was the total?(with shipping)

Is there any reason GNex Toolkit V5.7 wouldn't work with the Sprint version. I already preordered mine and would greatly miss WiFi hotspot.

Im not saying it wont take longer, but I think its funny how the International guys act like theirs came out so much earlier...it was released May 28th International, and June 26th US...so you got a whole month on us and that means squat when it comes to JB. The delay will be because of the carriers putting their own crap in there, otherwise it would be the same time. Im betting on late Oct for at least AT&T...
Ive read all over the internet that the OTA update for the T-Mobile Galaxy S3 is a leaked version...so when does the REAL official update get released??
No one knows for sure, not even Samsung. It was said to be 8/29 which obviously didn't happen. Now they're saying possibly this month. But who knows.. these things change all the time. My guess is about a week before the iPhone 5 hits.... cynical? Perhaps...

I live down the street from T-Mo headquarters here in Bellevue, WA, and I have a couple of friends that work in the dev department and they said within the next week. Before the iPhone5 announcement is actually a very very good guess.
Seeing as we have had a couple of decent leaks, the last one being pretty stable, it shouldn't be too much longer.
No one not even Samsung or Tmobile knows when its going to drop.

I been using my s3 for about a year, absolutely love it, but I think I'm gettin a new phone in a month, trying to decide which. Thinkin either S4 or Optimus G2, or wait till the nex 5, What you think? Anyone waiting for something else?

I would say wait until the new nexus phone is announced and if you don't like it, either wait for the next galaxy s phone or get any other phone that you like on the market right now.

I'm at the same dilemma....I am up for a new phone, but don't think I'm willing to waste my upgrade on an S4. The S4 just doesnt have the upgraded features to warrant extending my contract. The note 3 gets officially announced on September 4th. I may possibly hold out for it.

Anyone else puzzled by this release date? 3rd quarter ends at the end of September, and it really doesn't look like Samsung are going to make that. But they would have known that when they announced it too, so anyone any clue what a quarter is to Samsung?

It looks like Samsung runs a calendar year Fiscal Year so likely are releasing it on 9/25 but may not take into account any "shipped" sales as part of the 3rd quarter numbers. Instead take those numbers as sales into the 4th quarter since they may or may not be in transit. We don't know.
i saw somewhere on XDA that the release wouldnt be until early october, i'll have to try to find it again. anyways i find it strange that if they ARE going to release it on the 25th that we haven't been allowed to preorder etc. they've released no details about release date or pricing.
You would think if it was going to be released in 3 days we would atleast know the price or a for sure date or who was selling it.
