Hi. I just installed the ARD 9.3.2 and it starts and works very well but in calls people cant hear me on the other side (like the microphone is not working) but if i put the call on speaker they hear me, so:
1. in speaker mode other microphone comes in or is the same?
2 How can i fix this?? I already reflashed the rom and same problem.
On stock rom (that i had yesterday) everything was working fine.
Please help me!!!!
Thank u in advance.

it might be jack problem, i had the same years ago on acer device... maybe your phone thinks that auricolars are into the jack and it disconnects the normal one, or it can be software problem, try to wipe, reinstall
Did you use the superwipe script to wipe everything ? And did you flash the correct boot.img file ?

Hi everyone,
i have s3 i747 at&t.
after upgrading to StockMOD ROM 4.3 rls 2.1 (from rls2) my speaker started to make crackling sounds and sometimes even very low siren sounds. so i tried to go back to rls2 but it doesn't help - the sounds continued, so i decided to go back to stock and now not the camera flash or the speaker working.
can some one help me?
here is some things i also tried:
1. to put the speaker in another phone and it worked perfectly.
2. the aux (headphone connection) works perfectly.
3. to install a new speaker in the phone and it won't work.
4. factory reset.
can some one please give some ideas about what might be the problem?
thanks
Phone Specs
Has root, unlocked, S3 i747 from At&t, Stock rom on 4.3
Any help would be great, sorry for my bad english...
someone please?
Long story short, I started having this issue 2 days later the flashing of CyanogenMod 13 ROM, almost a month ago, maybe a little more. Searching on Google it appeared as a problem of the Cyano ROM, watching the amount of complains found on the web but, after flashing a stock-based ROM, the problem persisted. So I thought that maybe the earpiece speaker got damaged and orderer a new part on eBay. While waiting for the new part to replace, I decided to try to flash the latest stock firmware, trying to solve any kind of kernel related problems. Of course it didn't work. Finally the new part arrived and, after installing it, with a bit of disappointment on my face I realized it wasn't the earpiece speaker the problem: still no sound in calls.
Now, could the problem be the motherboard itself? The 3.5" jack, which belongs to the same module, works just fine. Any idea?

First of all thank you very much for the answer, mate, unfortunately even by following the steps you listed the problem isn't gone. Any other tip?
I'm having the same prob 2. No sound on either sides of the call. The strange part is the sound returns intermittently

What do you exactly mean? Would you verify if the problem occurs only during calls? You can test the earpiece by downloading a specific app from the Play Store (e. g. Speaker Tester).
I've been playing around with the phone flashing modems, bootloaders, stock ROMs et cetera but nothing seems to solve the issue.

On stock ROM i.e miui ROM everything works fine.
But when I flash any custom ROM camera stops working it shows "still can't connect to the camera. Try restarting the device, flash is not working, the sound is not coming from the speaker but works perfectly when earphones are plugged from checking when I play ringtone from settings > sounds it works perfectly fine while calling earpiece won't work, proximity sensor won't work I have to use earphone.
But all the things work perfectly in stock MIUI Rom.
