Okay, so this is my sister's phone and she let me use it so I could root it. That was the original plan. Howvever, I got really confused so to say I guess. :/
I watched this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C9eaCtiS0Bo

It got stuck there.
Then when I tried to turn on the phone just to see if it was still working, all I saw was a picture of a phone then dots then a ! in a triangle and a computer, this means it's BRICKED right ?
Then I tried to unbrick/unroot it.. so to speak.. using this video by the same guy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QTQ6Rn0FBSk&feature=relmfu

I don't know what to do. I'm pretty tech savvy having programmed in many languages. But unfortnately I'm not too smart with phones. I'm actually a complete noob in this field. I would appreciate if someone could help me ASAP.

I DO NOT UNDERSTAND. Why all of a sudden it does this.... & now the entire screen literally of the phone is GREEN.

You have a bad cable bud chillax. Go buy a nice new one from wally world and use the ubrick video to get back to stock and redo the root video. The green screen is a clear indication that data is not transfering completely.

Looks like you aren't using the PIT file.

Get a blackberry data cable. Then when ur ready pull the. Battery off for like 5 mins, then odin. make sure u have the correct pit file.

You are trying to flash the International Galaxy S3 9300 firmware which could brick your phone .
Start all over again and this time odin flash the Tmobile T999 stock-rooted firmware.
Here is the download link for it: http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=9390169635556426451
This stock firmware is pre-rooted, so no need to root.
Good Luck!
still doesnt work

Try a different computer. I had to try 3 different ones until it was my daughter's laptop that finally worked. 2 computers running win7, one running vista. The laptop was running win 7.

I'm sure flashing the i9300 stock rom on a T999 isn't going to do anything helpful.
I'm sure if you send it in to these guys (link below) they'd be able to fix it. I'd rather pay $60-$100 to fix my phone than buy a new one or pay what Samsung would charge to fix it (if they would).

No when I flash the PIT file I use the PIT box should I use the PDA??
Why are you flashing a PIT file? Stop.
Stop trying to flash and international rom on your tmobile gs3. Flash the tmobile version

When it ask for the Pit file you have to use the PIT file for the t999 and also use the PDA file at the same time.
Don't use the PIT file by itself.

There is no need for a separate pit file. Just the Odin .tar package. Please don't suggest this. I have odined this phone countless tines and I only use the .tar file for original stock image. I've never used a separate pit file nor have seen anyone here suggest it or post it in any tutorials.

Sooner or later most likely sooner you will have hard bricked your phone
by trying to flash 9300 firmware into a t999 phone.
You need to delete all the 9300 files from your computer and
from your phone which you may have already downloaded.
Only use T999 roms, firmware, mods or any other device
specific apps and software.
What you need to do is to find the correct PIT file for your T999 Tmobile phone
and odin flash it in the PIT slot not PDA. I am certain it's here on XDA but I don't
have the time to look for it, that's something you need to do.
Only the proper PIT file will solve the problem you are having.
The PIT file will re-map your partitions so the phone will be able to
accept the odin flash stock firmware successfully.
Anything else will give you even more problems or a bricked phone.
You already messed up the partition tables on your phone already you are only
about one step away from bricking the phone.

[Q] Galaxy note 2 (SPH-L900) Won't let me flash stock rom.

Last Night my Note2 finally got the 4.4 upgrade which I let install. is the stock rom you are flashing is for your specific variant of note. make sure of that.
have you done the things you have to do before flashing, like enabling debugging mode in the developer options?
run odin with administrator

I've also tried kies with no luck due to it never freaking recognizing the device, and yes ive updated the drivers. Ive done all these steps with many different usb's, usb ports, computers, and versions of odin. Is there anything i can do or should i just start looking for a new phone? Help would be greatly appreciated
Make sure that you are flashing the correct Odin for the bootloader you are on download Samsung info and post baseband and bootloader and can point you in the right direction

HELP SM-G530FZ stuck on loading screen

Hi folks....
My mom's phone (SM-G530FZ) is stuck on the loading screen.
From what i've been told, the phone was charging when suddently the screen went "white" and automatically restarted.
From that moment, it does not start anymore and it's stuck on the loading screen (samsun logo etc).
I can enter the download mode, so i've tried to flash the original firmware (G530FZXXS1BPL1_G530FZITV1BPF1_G530FZXXU1BPI1_HOME.tar...one binary) with Odin with no luck, obtaining the following error
<OSM> Enter CS for MD5..
<OSM> Check MD5.. Do not unplug the cable..
<OSM> Please wait..
<OSM> Checking MD5 finished Sucessfully..
<OSM> Leave CS..

I've then tried to download another firmware (G530FZXXU1ANL7_OXX1ANL4_v4.4.4_Repair_Firmware with BL+AP+CP+CSC+PIT) ...no luck again

Tried also with different Odin's versions
Any idea on what might have happened and whether or not there is a way to fix it?
Thanks
