Hello peoples. On the 9/30 ATT Aristodemos leak by Smartguy. Amazing. Rock it if you aren't already. I want to remove the Sprint splash screen that occurs when I power down the device. I cannot for the life of me remember where the file is located so I can remove it. Can someone please shoot me a location so I can get rid of it?

Sprint just replaced a fubared Epic with a new (not refurb!) Epic4G running EC05. I've searched, and can't find a battery full popup suppressor for this release...can someone help me out? I'd like to stay on rooted stock, so a new ROM won't help. Thanks!

LOL, thank you. My brain is going dead, because I posted a bunch in this popup thread and totally forgot about it!
someone I know HS a Tmobile GSII and the home screens loop so you don't just hit the end and have to scroll back. Why doesn't the ET4G touchwiz do this? How can we enable this? I know I can use another launcher but I trying to use the phone with TW.

For some reason T-Mo got this feature and we didn't. I thought we were going to see it in the update but we didn't.
yeah I am trying to stick with touch wiz to test if go launcher was really a battery drain so I guess I'll just deal with this
Hey Guys,
Has anyone been successful with enabling the default ICS soft key buttons in CM9 RC1? I'm doing this because my epic's capacitive buttons are very unresponsive. Took it to sprint and said they can't exchange due to the water mark being activated...
Used this guide: http://rohan999.wordpress.com/2012/03/31/how-to-enable-on-screen-ics-keys-on-any-ics-rom/
and I was able to pull the framework.apk, edit it, and recompile it but after I loaded it onto the phone, the phone reboots and gets stuck at the boot animation. Any help would be much appreciated it.
p.s. I found some for other phones like the samsung galaxy SII but I believe the framework.apk's are different so it won't work on the epic.
Thanks guys! always a pleasure.

We all really appreciate the work you're doing. Question about this being a "bandaid" though: is there a potential permanent fix down the line?

In regards to this posted in the Cyanogen 10.1 samsung galaxy note 2 (sprint) forum, how would I use said 'band-aid?' while waiting for the upstream fix in CM 10. I'm stuck with 3g in a 4g area, and the thought of reverting back to TouchWiz gives me the chills. (Sprint Samsung Galaxy note II using Pac-Man rom).
PS. Don't be too harsh on me, as you can see by the post count I'm a foolish noob & recent convert on day 3 of my android experience.
Thanks tremendously,
GM.
After more digging it seems the answer to this question is almost certainly 'no'.
So let me refine my question: Is their a way to accomplish what sprint hands free activation accomplishes, carrier update/prl etc from an AOSP rom? I don't mind if I have to do some kind of procedure after every reboot to get 4g LTE back, I'm a linux veteran, I don't care if it involves replacing a file fixing permissions or killing and restarting a process, etc, whatever works, but having to flash back to TW to run through hands free and flash back to pacman/PA/CM/AOSP every single time I want to connect to 4G LTE, only to lose it and nigh see it again after a reboot is a little much here, and it sounds like the fix is pretty far off.
Thanks.
GM
You can only complete hands free activation on a stock rom. Since CM is stock Android, it doesn't retain any carrier or manufacturer apps and settings. Like you, I want LTE on roms like CM, but it looks like we'll have to wait.
I'm dying to get the new Snote, air-command and the touchwiz, smart-scroll and smart-pause on my T889, but I can't find any MOD for that. I got the new MK7 and it's pretty good. What I need is the features I just stated. Can anyone help me out pleasE???
I see this mod for MK4, I wonder would it work on my MK7? any idea. I've a very slow internet connection. Since it's a pretty big file (548mb), I'll download it only if anyone can give me some hope. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2467810
