Notification light - Samsung Captivate Glide

Hi everyong
I was just using my brother galaxy s3 and it had a blue notification light in the top left corner.
I just thought it would be kinda nice for when im in class and cant have it on vibrate.
so i was wondering if the glide had a notification light or something similar
i apologize if this is in the wrong spot

No it doesnt

There are Roms coming out that some people are testing where your buttons become your notification light. This is called BLN short for (Button Light Notification) This looks promising.

That would be cool
thanks for the info

Reviving this thread for a concern along the same lines...
Is it possible to make the buttons fade on and off? Like a pulse notification light?

Bln pro can make the capacitive buttons blink. But for a price.... Lol I bought it

+1 on NoLED. One of the things I missed about my Crackberry Torch was the LED notifications. This fits the bill perfectly.

Request notifications colors led apk

I had on my Evo an led notification apk that used both leds on it with different colors created by an XDA developer. I just tried applying it to the touch and it told me it is not supported. I know we have 2-3 colors on this phone and would like to see if recreated for this phone. You had options to choose the color it would light up, change between colors and how it would light up either one color, 2 colors, between the two of them, fast or slow. I can email the apk to someone if they want to look at it and see how it was built and worked.
Thanks,
Ian B

Just think if everyone requested one feature and posted in development. How many would that be? I'm not trying to be rude.

I think this belongs in Apps and Themes. with a [Req] next to it.
Whatever, someone can move it to where ever but i think this is a feature everyone here would like rather than the plain red led notification light.
Just my 2cents.

Did you look at the app I posted?

Brightness slider in notification drop down. Anyone have it?

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1768962
This thread has some awesome customization features including adding the brightness slider into the notification toggle. However, as far as I can tell these themes only work on the GSM variant. I thought about giving it a try on the FreeGS3 R6 ROM but I'm a bit nervous about screwing my device up.
Anyone have another theming option for the brightness slider known to work with the T-Mobile variant? Or is anyone willing to try one of the themes in the above thread and report back?
Try this if you like..found it on sgs3 international version but it works on Tmo version.

Ha! I'm using your ROM but definitely not feeling the black/white theme. I just need Wildchld to add this feature to his XquiziT theme and I'll be a happy camper.
+1 on the slider in blue. Maybe someone could put it as an add on

If that kept the cyan colored toggle buttons I'd give it a try but I am not a fan of that brighter blue.

You sure about that? I just flashed this on my Tmo S3 and now I'm getting an error message saying "Unfortunately, system UI has crashed." No more notification bar.

I'm using it on freegs3 R6 rom no issue. But as usual I make a back up whenever I flash something. Also flashing your rom back will bring things back to normal without losing anything.

I used to use this but I found sometimes hard to adjust and you can see the bar. If you make it semi or fully transparent its even harder to adjust. You can make the sliding area wider but it could take up too much area as to accidentally adjust the screen brightness when you're just trying to do notification pull down. Bad when you're outdoor in daylight and you accidentally dim the screen.

The latest CM10 8/14 build is finally stable enough to use as a daily driver. So I ended up switching to that and I haven't found any bugs at all thus far. The huge plus here is that it has the feature built in where you can just slide your finger across the status bar to increase or decrease the brightness. It works great and I am extremely pleased.

I had CM on my old phone and LOVED that feature. Can't wait for a stable version of CM 10 to come out and then I will flash it, but I honestly don't think this stock TouchWiz ROM is terrible...

Well it looks like the new base comes with it. All we need to do is wait for the devs to do their thing and make it run faster and more efficiently while adding a better look to it

Unfortunately Light Manager does not support an "ìn-service" LED, only a "no service" one. Light Flow does support this function but it currently has several issues with the Note 2 where TalkBack gets activated inadvertently. Devs are working on a fix, hopefully soon!

[Q] Garnet Red Softkey Color

Is there a way to change the softkey colors back to white? It's hardware so maybe not but there could be a way right?

Whompasaurus rom?

First of all a big applaud to the developers that made the Whompasaurus rom. I am thoroughly impressed. The LED feature is crazy. Anyways, two questions. First, how do I get rid of the line in the middle of the screen that happens when you turn off the display? Also, is it possible to change the red time display for stock? Thanks!

MA7 DeOdexed with Perseus 33.4
It's been highly customized though.
No shutter sound
MultiWindow all apps
In-call volume boost
Internal/external memory switch
4.2 camera and regular both with galleries
TWRP recovery
There's probably more, but I can't remember at the moment.

Sounds like whomp but idk about the internal external switch. It comes with the option of some s4 goodies too. Like I've got the clock and the s translator but to be honest the translator is the same as Google translate. Not sure what Samsung is trying to accomplish there.
