AOKP with FuguMod kernel rocks.
AOKP with Franko kernel I have an extended battery as well and I can get 16hrs with heavy use constant sync and wifi on all the time. 10x better than my s2 when I use to hammer it this hard

Best Battery Rom For Nexus?

I'm getting a nexus, And theres not a heap of choices of roms, but which one has the best battery?
Thanks
aokp + franco
I prefer AOKP with franco.Kernel, but in my opinion the kernel is more importan as the rom.
Best is trying out much combinations as possible.
there are lots of roms ...
if you want battery life then it's mostly about the kernel rather than the rom ...
GLaDOS kernel is the best imo most options and best battery life and it works great on any rom i prefer CM9
what about slim ics?
I have been using LiquidSmooth with Franco's kernel, and have been very happy.

I vote juggernaut 5.0. Got 30 hours with 4.5 hours of screen on time with that baby.
Btw prepare for flameage from our wonderful xda hypocrite brethren. No one on here likes open ended questions.
Cyanogenmod 9 official nightly.. LOVING IT!!

darkside's digital warfare imho....could get a day & a half with moderate use easily. really though, anything with gingerbread should last you at least the day with this phone

I'd say the ROM doesn't particularily matter in regard to battery life. As long as you have a rooted rom, your best bet would be to use a CPU tuner to underclock your device using usage profiles for maximum battery life.
For gb i found juggernaut and synergy. Ics kernel development is underway though so we will find out soon enough. I believe tdj released his tmobile build with venom kernel.

Darkside all the way. On ics and in gb too

TDJ roms
I have tried so many roms and always ended up installing/restoring TDJ roms.
either GB or ICS, his roms are always fast, functional and smooth daily drivers IMO.
you can't go wrong with TDJ roms. give it a try.
I suggest juggernaut for gb. It gave me on average 16-19 hrs of battery life. Darkside is really good to for ics. Although for me it hasn't given me such great battery as juggernaut. BeastMOD 5.0 is another one that in my book give the BEST battery life. I could go more then a day with moderate use.i miss it:/ lol

Any of the CM7 based roms by Eugene or Beastmod 4.0 by Melvin.
Its very subjective based on your phone, kernal used and how you use your phone. I have seen the best battery life with TDJ roms and now recently I am running Chimeria vs Hercules and batter life is pretty good.

Battery life is more kernel dependent and useage dependent.
Find a ROM with the features you like and then play with the kernels.

Which one is better?

Which Rom is better to you guys? I want exactly what everybody else wants from a Rom. I am willing to try any Rom with any kernel combination. But I prefer a jelly bean experience.
But this is my order from most important to least important.
1. Battery
2. Jelly Bean feel and look
3. Stability(No crashes or small amount of crashes)
4. Performance (UV/OC)
5. Appearance/Looks
I was thinking either AOKP, CM10 or Liquidsmooth but I'm open to anything

Liquidsmooth or slim bean are gonna be best on battery in my experience I like jelly bean but keep going back to ICS... but those with either kko or hotcakezz kernel should be your best bet. Some report good battery on aokp but never was very good in that aspect for me

I agree.. liquidsmooth has given me the best overall experience.. tweaks, battery, performance, and jellybean experience.. try that out with hotcakezz kernel (which I'm running) and you won't be flashing any other ROM for a while (besides updates) haha good luck mate!!
