Hi,
Okay so I've seen this issue and I've fixed it by using power button and vol down. All starts working then, usb, charging etc.
This happens once a day pretty much. Has anyone seen this or can suggest a fix? Is it ROM related or other?
Thank you for your advice / help in advance.

Hey everyone. Today i was playing a game and my Htc one x just froze. It froze and then shut down by itself. I tried to turn it back after and nothing happened. Furthermore, i put it to charge and no reaction whatsoever. I dont know what to do and dont really know any tricks at all. The red light doesnt seem to blink at all so i do not know what im doing wrong. Anyone have any suggestions?
My phone hasnt been rooted at all, so it's just an ordinary unrooted phone.
Thank you very much.

Looks like a random crash, I suggest you go to the retailer and ask if he knows what to do? This doesn't sound like a software issue..
btw, are there any combinations (vol + power for example) if the phone are frozen?
to force a reboot or so?

I am on yure's MIUI with weekly updates. Same stock Samsung kernel all the time, but just one day it happened. Now I have the same issue, when 0% and charging with turned off device, I can't turn it back on. It's freezed at the battery-charging-icon, I have to start and unplug to boot properly. Pretty weird...
Guys, I have the same issue but it is NOT charging and freezing on the battery charge logo. Any ideas? My phone cannot turn on now that it is flat. Please help!

Then you don't have the same issue at all!
First of all, have you tried different chargers and USB cables?
If the answer is yet, can you try another battery?
Regards,
Dave

How strange, there was the exact same issue on my sgs, turned out it was a problem with a custom kernel, so weird that this happens on stock kernel then. As far as I know, this is caused when the kernel boots in low power mode, when you have to hold the power button for a bit to boot, and has nothing to do with the battery itself.
I'd try to flash a different kernel anyway, might solve it.

No i didnt
So, it must be a hardware problem, right now I'm having the same problem but I did flash a ROM and something went wrong
Did you try pressing the reset button? (Yellow one located beside the microSD card slot)

i am not that of an expert but i want to help. so explain few things to me.
how long did you leave it to charge ??since i see red notification it seems you battery is low
if you did leave it for over night .. i read somewhere try pressing volume up + power until it vibrates then leave it on wall charger for couple of hours.
if these things doesnt work we will take it a step further

Can you connect to flashmode you can flash ftf to check if its a software problem. But i highly suspect that its a battery problem. i would suggest you to keep for charging for few minutes and then do flash using flashtool

So i left it on charge whole night and then i hold vol up + power and plug the phone into wall charger and it turned on and battery showed 98 % charged but as soon as i removed the wall charger it turned off and then i tried to turn it on it wouldnt turn on unless i plug into the wall so it is definitely the battery?

I think it's about hardware issue.
Send it to service center, I think they won't find out if your bootloader is unlocked, because yours won't turn on
Hi there,
before I send the mobile to my reseller i want to ask if any of you may have a solution.
Yesterday I tried a normal reboot to recovery. The phone went off and then did not go on again. Nothing happens when i press the power button with or without volume buttons.
Even if I connect the charger, the phone does not show anything. It is completely dead
thanks for help
No signs of life? Try holding the power button for 30 Secs...or pushing the power button multiple times if u managed to boot into fastboot or recovery...your should be sorted

Hi,
I had one mobile which did that after an update (it was a Zuk Z2 pro). Really no sign of life.
I let it a part for like one week and the battery went completely down. I tried to charge it after one week, and the phone turned on magically. I guess the update just broke the theorical level of battery so went it was completely empty everything was ok.
But it seem different for you. I guess I would try long press on the 3 buttons, or at least volume down and power, which can bring you to fastboot mode and you will be able to flash with miflash tool.
@eagle*23*: Any news? Did you revive him?
thanks for your answers, forgot to set notification on replays.
The idea with wating till batterie is down looks good idea but i already sent it back to reseller now because dont what to wait so long without the handy drug
The idea with push the Buttons in different combinations i tried several times but did not work.
It's still on guarantee so it may be your best option.
I have the same problem. can anybody help me? did anyone get solution to the case? My case is identical to yours.

Looks like there are not many solutions yet. You could open the Phone but the Flash with this method seems to be stoped by Xiaomi.
One good thing is that it looks like they dont care if your Phone was unlocked or not
