I just downloaded mobile Odin and I get the error in the screenshot. I'm on Rogers rooted stock rom. Anyone else get this error.

Then setup stock rom dll5 4.1.2
Via mobile odin
Then I tried many time to check for update then nothing happened
On any modified rom gave me its modified
On stock suck on checking
What can I do ???

Use kies.
Had same issue here.
Plus with kies can get a copy of stock rom.
Search my threads for more information.

if your phone had ever been flashed or rooted,then you cannot update from web or kies.

Hi everyone
i just restored my S4 to stock with kies and now im getting a "Package Files is Invalid" everytime i go to update certain apps
i have even tried factory resetting the phone and still no luck!
can anyone help me out?

I had the same problem, but later realized its just a certain app.
For ex. ROM toolbox gives me that problem.
Flashing back through Odin does nothing.

Im trying to fix my daughters note 2..right now when I turn it on a screen comes up saying something about firmware update encounter a problem to connect to kies so I did that and kies wont recognize the phone even though all the drivers are installed. .after that I tried to odin a stock firmware and it processed all the way through and at the end it said failed...im stuck and need some help..any help would be greatly appreciated.

Downloaded the new VoLTE filmare since my Kies keeps giving me an error I know I can flash through Odin3 but I need a step by step breakdown of what to do...any guides available? Also will this wipe my phone?

Does the unroot function in the Super SU paid version work?
Unrooting from the 4.4 kit kat stock rom. Im running stock recovery also.
Has nobody used the Full Unroot feature of SuperSU with kitkat and the note 4?

Made an account just to reply to this. I was in the same boat, and tried that. Phone rebooted but couldn't take OTA. When it restarted after failed OTA install, went into bootloop. Had to reflash stock through ODIN and problem solved. Sorry man.
So Im running stock recovery and stock rooted 4.4. So that means I either wait for lollipop on Kies or Odin back to stock then take the OTA.

I'm in the same boat
Not sure about this but Odin to stock and taking update will keep all your data if that is what you are worried about. Only issue is you might not be as smooth keeping your settings. I had some fc's and lag. So I reset to factory and restored apps and there was a huge speed and smoothness increase.
Im planning on reseting, trying to maintain setup on a major update always causes lag.

no. you cannot. its not a flashable tar.
I know I saw the comments thanks for the update. I will use methods I know work.
