Wifi modules should be with kernel thread, if you are on ArcKnight kernel use modules for ArcKnight. For Trinity, use Trinity modules.
I looked at links, on ArcKnight it is google docs page, you will see menu at top, select file and download. You will have flashable zip.
try this
i think you are trying to download either trinity kernel or arcknight kernel wifi modules
i went through the site,,,it's google docs
so just go to FILE ON THE UPPER LEFT SIDE AND SCROLL DOWN TO THE DOWNLOAD BUTTON
DON'T TRY to download individual files ...
***IF THIS DOESN'T HELP THEN try to use different browser and download the zip file(i use chome and it's working fine)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ***IF YOU THINK I HELPED THEN SHOW IT BY PRESSING THE THANKS ICON***
Thank you guys. That was helpfull.

Hey i saw the link you pasted and the wifi modules are fine..they are uploaded in docks.google website and the link shows the files present in the zip file..the only thing you need to do is go to https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B8PRWqpWN73RcVhFSVZ0MEpmWjg/edit?pli=1 or https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B8PRWqpWN73RM0VMVG9xQzU5RTg/edit?pli=1 links as per your kernel and there go to file menu on the top..then select download..
The downloaded file willl be in zip format..then later flash it through cwm !!
Hope This Helps u..
flash it via cwm

Maybe try different kernel, there is new Mjolnir Kernel. You can fastboot it no need to install system from scratch after.
Hello,
I downloaded the CM9 RC1 from the cyanogenMod page, here's the link, http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?device=zeus&type=RC
The kernel is inside the zip (boot.img).
Put the .zip file you downloaded into the SDcard
copy the boot.img that comes inside the .zip to the folder where you have the flashing tools.
flash this kernel (You know how to do that, right?)
unplug from computer the cel and turn on, a freexperia logo appear and when the light in the power button turns on, press and keep pressed the down volume button. you'll enter to the recovery menu.
in the recovery (use the volume buttons to move and home button to enter), wipe data/fatory reset, then wipe cache partition and go advanced/wipe Dalvik Cache.
Still on the recovery, back to main menu (use the back button) and go to install zip from sdcard, then go to choose a zip from sdcard. You will see the files on your card, search for the downloaded .zip and install it.
when finish, go to main menu and choose reboot system now, and that's it!
That worked for me.... hope this will help you to install the CM9 :fingers-crossed:
Cheers :good:

Hello,
Also, DonĀ“t forget to download the google apps .zip file.
Put it in the same place you put the CM9 rom into the sdcard. on step 6, when the installation of the rom finish, before rebboting the phone, repeat the step 6 but choose the googles apps .zip file and there you go!
the link for the CM9 google apps is: http://cmw.22aaf3.com/gapps/gapps-ics-20120317-signed.zip
Cheers! :good:

You have to use a kernel which is made for cm9. Doomkernel and darkforest kernel are made for sony ics beta rom.
Sorry for my bad English. It's not my native language.

First of all i am new to android, Thank god, i found this fourm.. I recently bought Xperia arc from my unknown friend. He gave me with Android 4.0.4 updated. After watching some Youtube videos, some guy told that Android 2.3 i best for gaming so i flashed to LT15i_4.0.A.2.368_Generic Global using flashtool by reading many guidelines.. After flashing successfully i still got this notification *Low on space" Note that even before flashing i got that. After googling it several times.
Solution said to install some apps, but that dint help... It says there is no movable app. And tried to enable the move to SD card button ->It says i need to root i tried Doomlord's app dint work. i deleted dome application cleared cache, force disabled, ut nothing seems to freeup spaces,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1488351
Even this link says on step3b, make sure there is no low on sapace notification, but how do i do it?
OK i decided to partition my SD card and move the apps, but i could'int download app2SD because i had no space. Please note that TEMPLE RUN is installing)but cant app2SD). Please advice me to clean up some memory. So that i can install some apps and make my android really work. Shall i update to 4.04 or gingerbread is fine. I am totally confused what should i do. Please help me.. :crying:
Thanks in Advance
Just do a factory reset then make a second partition on your sdcard and use link2sd. Problem solved.
Is factory reset and hard reset are the same?

You could search this for yourself http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1874801 or with pictures http://talk.sonymobile.com/thread/38251 Its basically flashing an older kernel then running a rooting program on your pc then flashing back newest kernel.

I think you need root for this mod.

sorry, i was at training, so i could not reply that fast.
well, rooting is allways a first step.
i did it that way: (short form only, if u want additional info's, just ask)
1. root
2. put a new rom + gapps on ur sd card
3. flash a prerootet kernel with preinstalled recovery which fits to ur rom
4. flash rom + gapps
5. reboot
6. connect phone to pc
7. backup ur sd card
8. delete ur entire sd card (thats why u have to make the backup)
9. reboot into recovery
10. wipe all
11. search for 'partition sd card'
12. choose ur values that u want
13. reboot into system
14. connect to pc
15. put all files back on sd card
16. download the mod and put in on sd too
17. reboot into recovery
18. flash the mod
19. wipe all
20. reboot
21. YOU'RE DONE!!
press thanks if it helped

Modules.zip is inside of fusion kernel rar file : D No there is no risk in flashing wifi modules because these are just a files required for a custom kernel to work properly. I mean like a drivers in windows so the wifi can work.
Just remember to format system, data, cache partitions in CWM before flashing anything. And I forgot about this http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip these are the newest google apps for JB without this Play store, google maps etc wont work.

I came through a lot of problems for the past 2 weeks, with my new Xperia Arc. Currently i ve flashed to .587 stock ROM and then flashed Vengence kernel, Installed the Ultimate HD v3.03 using CWM. I also installed the modules of both vengence and stock .587. But now i cannot access internet, when i download the settings from Settings->Xperia->Download settings. I get this "Could not download settings error" Please insist me. But i can see the APN profile in my networks option, even when i tick that, its not working..
THis is what i followed, a post by Tesla....
Oh man.. They are right after Vengeance 1.32 download.
Called Modules http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?mg8x3fl3qxpp9u1
You will need stock too. http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...3&d=1345565020
I flashed both the modules, but could'int get it ork, Please help me, Any one faced similar problems?
What do you mean by "modules of both vengence and stock .587"? You only need to flash Vengeance modules. Flash .587 then custom kernel then install UHD (remember to wipe everything) and then kernels modules. Good luck.

I skimmed through the Ultimate HD threat, and found that , flashing the vengence kernel's modules is not enough... I must also flash the stocke .587 kernal 's modules... That is which i obtained from that link above, I even tried to everything from the starch, BUt the internet problem still persist, So since i am flashing to .587 ROM 0r Firmware, (which is probably the ROM of Xperiar Arc S) Should i have to download the vengence kernel for Arc S ???? What should i specify in the aroma installer? Arc S or Xperia Arc?
But why flash stock modules when they're already embedded in UHD? Start again from flashing .587 ftf then install Vengeance kernel from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2097138 then wipe all, install ROM and then flash kernel modules. I'm not sure but try to select Arc s in aroma installer.
edit:
Remember to flash new modules downloaded from the thread linked above.

I already did that.... The settings are the same.. But there is no internet access.. But its working fine on stock .587 ROM ... Then the problem must be with the UHD rom right??? There is no E symbol at all..
i have the same internet settings problem as well. turned on Data Connectivity but no H or E or 3G or anything. i had to reinstall the ROM to make it work again.. but even then,, it always swtiches down to EDGE eventhough there's 3G signal. might be interference between ROM and kernel.

well for one you already flashed cobrato's kernel so you're ready to flash a stock based ROM like Trinity Vengeance...
if you want to flash an AOSP or CM based ROM like PACMAN or CM10.1 just download the ROM package, extract the boot.img that's inside the package, fastboot flash the boot.img, reboot to recovery [they already have their own recovery with the kernel], wipe data and cache and then flash the ROM package

bugs will always be there bro, what with all the modding and scripting that developers do on a ROM..you just have to find the right workarounds in my opinion
i really understand that... but this "bugs" about i'm saying is from based source(Installation conflicts)... i just will do a clean re-installing to be sure... maybe when sony release new Update some bugs disappear...
I'll do it tomorrow ... enough for today(1:10 AM here) ... Thanks for help me (I still have to re-format my PC today ... another thing is full of bugs)
...
If you can pass me the setup order to install the trinity ROM with Forzaferrileo kernel i will enjoy it

and after that.. I'll have to do the root again? ... neither the unlock the bootloader? ...

I rooted my Xperia Arc last year and installed Ultimate HD v3. Though it was working fine yesterday after I had flashed Ultimate HD v5, both my Wifi and CWM stopped working (earlier I probably installed CWM manually through copying some files to SYSTEM directory). Now, I have no idea whether its a ROM specific problem or I've done something wrong. I am a noob so someone please help me out. In this situation could someone help with the following:
1. How I can re-install CWM now (my wifi is nor working)?
2. Is there any way to start wifi without CWM module flash?
It would be a great help if someone could guide me what to do and provide some thread link for this. Thanks in advance.
