Hey guys
I have the sprint standard icecream rooted rom
This unit does not see usb drives or usb anything, I have the samsung host c able, when I plug anything into it the phone does nothing, no usb notification, nothing, I installed usb diagnostics and it says usb is not supported
any ideas how to enable this?
thanks in advance
ps
I am not opposed to installing a custom ics, if someone has a stable build that they know supports usb would appreciate the link

Hello Guys!
I'm asking to see if ANYONE can fix or port Da_G kernel from Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket. Well, just fix the auto rotation. Skyrocket kernel make our phones FLY! I recommend anyone to try them. Especially with any of RoyalKnight's ROMs. Well, Thank You, and Have a Wonderful Day!

Thank but no, all the T-Mobile kernels run slow. I don't know what it is, but it lags so much, and this kernel I'm using (Da_G) is super fast. With Dewizzed . Ill make a video if I have to lol.

Faux kernal is based off skyrocket drivers and does not lag. I don't know which one you tried but version 7 has no lag. I think he switched sources in 6 or 7 but try again kernal is amazing
Tried 7, it was horrible compared to Da_G's.

Can you post a link to his kernal

You can do USB OTG with the stock ROM but you'll need to root and install StickMount. I just received my US GSM Galaxy Nexus and this is working great for me. Good luck!

Moved to General. Please keep all questions in General :good:
I think the porting will be kinda difficult since we are having a different CPU, RAM&GPU from SG2, we may need to find a lot of drivers for it, but I think some of them are not available that's why Arco needs to write them from scratch
But why dont you just use a custom ICS rom instead?

Maybe he thought that porting is easier and faster than writing from scratch
The firmware of the galaxy w has a lot of bugs while GSII not.
The galaxy sII is also better optimized and has ics.
I thought it was the kernel containing drivers for the hardware.
The galaxy s has a very similar hardware to the galaxy w.
Please, there is anyone that could help me?

No , only galaxy s plus is same hardware with our device. And don't try to compare a device which has official ics with one which only has gb official

Absolutely not, only S Advance and SII in the S lines will get an update to ICS, BTW SGS may be having quite a fast progress because that phone came out much earlier than SGW so they got more developers and maybe supports.

Am i the only one who see no point in making this?
At the moment galaxy w developers working hard on more important and useful projects (cm9,10 etc)
I think nobody can help you with that.

Seriously, even if somebody is going to do it, the stable CM9 may still be released earlier than this lol
I guess what he means in his "port" is porting the looks, ui, sounds, etc., of Samsung Galaxy SII into Galaxy Wonder.

There are other jellybean mods like a Note II port and Galaxy S III sprint port, but CyanogenMod seems to always be better. I never had your old phone so I can't comment on that.

Thread closed due to no title and no first post. My first search using the search box located in the upper right corner of my screen next to little magnifying glass revealed THIS. We all have that box here at XDA right? Or am the only one??
Would anyone be willing to compile this gamepad driver for me? Running latest stock, rooted

You could see if any other MSM8960 device has it compiled and then just port it.
