I mistakenly wiped the memory on my kindle fire on twrp which deleted all my backups and roms.
My computer can't find the kindle fire and I can't seem to get ADB working. PLEASE HELP!
Please search before making a thread. This thread was right at the top and seems to be having the same issue as you.

The title explains it all for the most part.
I have tried various methods such as manual installs of the drivers to restoring my kindle, restarting my computer, etc.
no matter what I do kfu does not want to say online or detect my kindle.
Also I renamed my folder from Kindle Fire Utility to KFU and moved it onto C: directly.
Any help is greatly appreciated, as this is my first time rooting on the 6.3.1 so this new way of rooting should be simpler...
Thanks again for any help though!
Hi
I have almost zero knowledge on android devices. Recently I wanted to install jelly beans on my kindle fire. I followed a "how to..." video. Using Kindle Fire Utility Kit, I first rooted my tablet, then installed google apps and then I installed TWRP. Using TWRP I installed a jelly bean (CM10) ROM. But, in this process, I did not back up my original kindle fire OS. The installation was successful. But, I wanted to go back to Kindle fire's original OS. So, I sent kindle fire OS 6.3.1 upgrade (by changing the extension to .zip from .bin) to the root. Then using TWRP, I installed kindle fire 6.3.1.
Now, the kindle fire home screen appears, couple of error message pop us (Sorry! The application Calendar Storage (process com.android.providers.calendar) has stopped unexpectedly. ) and then reboots. It goes on and on. I can no longer access TWRP. WhenI try to reroot the device, the program in my computer just sits indefinitely waiting for the device.
So, folks, is there a way, I can get my back tablet? Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.
Using the update.zip from Amazon, reverts your device to it's original state, which includes replacing the recovery and bootloader partitions.
You very likely didn't wipe your data and cache partitions, which is why you're having problems. To fix the problem, reinstall the update.zip. To reinstall the update.zip, you need to reinstall TWRP. In order to reinstall TWRP, you need to fix your drivers and perhaps learn a little bit about fastboot mode. In either case, here are a couple links where you can find all the information you need.

I have bricked my kindle fire and need help. I have apparently wiped the OS from my kindle fire and failed to backup everything before I started. I can access TWRP but the PC(using windows xp) will not recognize the kindle. If I let it boot "normal" (gets stuck at logo) the PC will partially recognize the kindle but I have no access to the files on kindle (only recognized in device manager). I get an error on Kindle Fire Utility v0.9.9 stating that the "system/bin.sh" file cant be found or something like that. Please help as I have read and read and tried everything but to no avail.

Ok. So I still have not solved my problem but somehow in the command prompt I am showing a device when I type in "adb devices" but now I'm worried about what to do or where to go from here. Can someone please help me.

Please help, I can no longer use my Kindle Fire HD 8.9
Serious trouble with kindle Fire HD 8.9
Ok. So, Here's a rundown of what happened: I tried doing a bunch of Fastboot stuff to my kindle that ended up leaving me with a kindle that origionally had the blue bootlogo, now doesn't. I can however still get into recovery with fastboot, and obviously, I can still get into fastboot. Problem is, TWRP throws a bunch of errors at me when i try to wipe the data, (such as unable to mount /XXXX and others) the internal storage says 0, and the storage won't show up on my computer to even get a new rom on there to try to flash.
So nobody feels like being helpful? Some development site. People have the knowledge and don't want to share it. Thanks again for the help.
