I know a lot of people like myself were looking for this. Found it in the S2 forums...

It's awfully laggy though. Practically useless if I'm honest. Apparently it lags on all phones, including Sony.
It probably just needs an increase in fps.

Damn it....way too laggy! Thanks tho! Does anyone know how to change the fps?

I can even install. I'll download it and place it in /system/app and hit install and it always says replace system application? Then install failed.

Once you place it in /system/app. You do not need to install. Just set correct permissions, reboot, and it should work.

Got it, had to set permissions. Ya super laggy. Looks good. Just wish we could get a good working port. Thanks for the work tho!

My phone recently fell and my capacitive keys don't work. Its sad that I can enjoy the betas of REMICS ans SENSE 4.0 ON my epic. I would grfeatly appreciate if someone could teach me how to enable these or create them. If someone teaches me I can keep updating the file for each update and push it out for most ROMs on our epics. I have decompiled and compiled frameworks and done basic editing. I know it will take more than just a little editing but I am more then willing to learn to make this happen! Thanks to anyone who tries in advance.

Install AOKP, go to settings, rom control, enable navbar, select onscreen buttons you want
Decompile framwork-res.apk, edit /values/bools.xml and set the navigation bar value to true then recompile.

Can't you also just create local.prop and add line qemu.hw.mainkeys=0?
Sent from my SPH-D700 CM9 4.0.4
@dahturdima I have that on right now. I've had it like this. But I've been wanting to do it for other roms.
@ marcusant I though of that was in the process of doing it. But my decompilers wouldn't do it. I was getting chunk PNG missing files or something like that. I was trying to do it on REMICS.
If someone could upload their working set of tools I would greatly appreciate it.

Does zeinzu just create a text file and name it local.prop? Then put it in the root of my phone? Not my SD card but the actual phone with es file explorer?

EDIt:It worked on REMICS!!!!!!!! Now if someone is willing to help how can i change the size? I know I can do it through dimes.xml in the framework but the question is what guru can do it without decompiling it? lol
I've done it on cm9 and it works.
Sent from my SPH-D700 CM9 4.0.4
It worked great thanks Zeinzu. Youre a genius. Is it possible to resize it without decompiling?
Not sure, haven't tried. I'm assuming no though.

Im assuming the guys that created ROM control are gurus because it does it automagically once you put the size?-.-
EDIt: it would be awesome if someone could hook me up with the tools to decompile these kinds of frameworks. I can decompile ICS ones fine. Just not newer ones? Lol

Ever thing has going good but can't seem to find Samsung standard keyboard but there is one currently using speriance from snowplume

In CM9 it's called 'LatinIME'
I was wondering if there were some good build.prop tweaks that make the device better.
I also wonder if a property works if I add it manually.
Can someone help me with optimize my build.prop?
If you add a tweak manually correctly it will work, but I think it could be better if you use some app. I think there are a couple made by a forum member, jrummy, one specific for the editing of the build prop and one which is a suite, ROM toolbox! In these app there's a long list of tweak applicable...
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
Thank you. But I have that app installed and within the build.prop editor I can't adjust everything because there are properties missing...
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
Ok, i was thinking you were at your first attempt to edit the build.prop! However within rom toolbox you can directly edit the build.prop file and there's a really usefull function to make backup and restore the original build.prop, that's why my suggestion... I know that's easy manually too, but graphically is even better... and more you can add properties with the editor so there are less chance to make typo error than adding them manually...m2c
So let me get this straight, you think changing some lines in Build.prop is gonna optimize it?
Well, I think that the change can better fit some behavior of the phone to your need but I don't think it could drastically increase your performance... As I read in the pa thread performance are overall Google code related...

Thanks I found it... In the build.prop editor you can choose from a list when you want to add one. I am sorry I am blind I know. :$

Mostly placebo, I used to use build.prop tweaks on my old Galaxy S 4G along with drastic undervolting and overclocking. Finally one day I actually compared results of before and after from an objective standpoint and came to the realization most of that stuff didn't make a tangible difference.

Has anyone else realized that the stock keyboard that comes with the s4 doesn't autocorrect your words unless you use Swype. It sucks because this is the first keyboard which I actually like -_-
yeah samsung killed it there I loveeee the keyboard but the autocorrect is just not there which is beyond sad to me.
Sent from my SGH-M919 using xda premium
Yeah same here. I love the keyboard its just that the autocorrect isnt there.
Sent from my SGH-M919 using xda app-developers app
Actually the absence of auto correct is not Samsung's fault. It's the result of Apple law suit last year and in the end consumers, you and I, are at loss. One of the several reasons I will never stand for this evil company (Apple).
Sent from my SGH-M919 using xda premium
Samsung can't use autocorrect because of apple?
Sent from my SGH-M919 using xda app-developers app
I'm sorry but F u apple.... let's me guess they think they invented autocorrect on a smartphone.

After reading a bit, it looks like Autocorrect was removed form US S4s however its still present in some international versions....
Anyone have the international version apk?

Yeah if anyone has a flashable apk for the international keyboard please post
Strange, can't stand Apple and their egotistical ways. Always suing something or someone. One of the many reasons I will never go Apple.
Isn't the stock keyboard on the s4 SwiftKey? I use swiftkey4 on my Note 2 and absolutely love it!

I think its not SwiftKey but it does use SwiftKey technology
cant you compare 2 ? I already switched to AOSP keyboard and dont have SwiftKey or Samsung kb
Yeah its a shame. I love the Samsung keyboard, especially having the row of numbers up top, but I can't do without auto correct, so I'm just using Jelly Bean keyboard from the Play Store.
But if there is an international version with auto correct I'd love to get my hands on it.

My Canadian version has auto correct. Here's the apk and the odex file. It's not a flash able zip. Just both files zipped . You will have to manually out it into system/app and give it proper permissions. Make sure you make a back up first ! Hopefully it works. Let me know.

Thanks! I'll give it a try as soon as I get my phone backed up.

Back up your samsungime.apk. and replace it with the one I supplied. I'm not sure you need the odex file. Try without it.

I replaced the file and rebooted and nothing happened, still stock keyboard. Then I tried to install the apk file, it says no new permissions are required for the update, then it says "Application not installed". Any ideas? Am I just doing something wrong here?
Did you go into the settings for the Samsung keyboard and check to see if auto replacement is in the predictive settings?

That file is different from what's on Tom S4 and it doesn't install. You supposed to be able just move the file and fix permisions but kb not getting installed. Perhaps some dev can fix this.

The odex file seems to be corrupt and the samsung apk is missing the clases.dex file, the classes.dex file has the smali that needs edited to enable autocorrect, Can you give us the source of where you got this file?
