Hey guys!
I have flashed the aliendroid 1.0 rom on my fire and it worked perfectly. But today, I faced a large problem. In the morning the fire showed me that there was 70% battery left. In the afternoon, when i checked on it, it showed me that i had 0% battery. Yet it was working perfectly. Then i put it on charging. After an hour or so see that the battery is still at 0%.... It was working perfectly... I tried hard resetting, Reflashing the rom, flashing a new mod, but to no avail. Please help me so that my kindle fire can show how much battery is left.....PLEASE!!!!

Hi Guys,
i just woke up and noticed that my Desire was off. I usually connect the to the charger before i go to bett, so last night.
I tried turning the phone on but it didnt work on the first try. I pulled the battery and sd card and tried it again after a minute and the phone booted.
Now its running but the battery information screen says 0% and the icon in the notification bar doesnt grow.
Did a battery information wipe from Clockwork Mod - no changes.
Any ideas?
sorry for bad english...

okay so for the past weeks, i have been running the latest cyanogen rom nightly and i read about the script by puremotive that improves you battery life so i flashed it, everything was working wonderfully, noticed increased battery life but yesterday when i woke up my phone was off some how, so i turned it on and before i could even open an application it turns off. i mean like just turns off no bootloops whatsoever. When it turns off, if i have like full battery charge its drops down to 15%
so i was wondering is it my battery thats the problem or the phone?
and yes ive tried wiping everything and even flashed a different rom.

Ehhh it seems like its the battery, cause my phone only works when plugged into a charger
I'd been noticing extremely poor battery life recently on my KF. Just leaving it sitting with the display off and and it would be dead 4 hours later. If I turn wifi off it lasts a bit longer, but still not like it used to. I got BadassBattery Monitor, and no single app seems to take an unusual amount of battery juice -- the device spend about 33% of its power in stay awake, 11% screen, 41% Wifi, 14.3% apps.
I got cpu spy and it confirms it -- the Kindle is never going to deep sleep. Stays at 300mhz.
This ROM start as a rooted 6.2.1 but I've use nfinitfx's pre-rooted differential ROMS since then and am now on 6.3.1. The problem did not start until 6.3.1. There used to be a pre-rooted 6.3.1 around which I'd like to flash but for some reason I can't find it. I wish I could somehow tell which app is keeping the device awake or trying to use wifi. If anyone know how please let me know.
I guess if nothing else works I can back up wiht TB, put normal 6.3.1 on, then use KFU to pretty readily regain FFF/TWRP/root/google services, right?
I noticed the same battery drain after using the differential update program to go from 6.3 to 6.3.1. I restored a backup I had made just prior to doing the update and my battery usage went back to normal. Not saying the update was definitely the cause but I think it does look like something in the update wasn't playing well with something on my KF.

Ok rolled back to my 6.3 backup, good thing I kept it. And yep, now cpu spy shows my cpu spending considerable time in deep sleep, instead of the constant 300mhz of before. Thanks for this tip.
Now does anyone have a pre-reooted 6.3.1 we can flash (once that won't wipe skype/google framework etc?)
After loading the 9/16 build on two of my kindles I have had several occurrences of complete battery drain overnight. Last night hit "shutdown" and "ok" and this morning completely dead. Date and time reset to 1999. Anyone else running this build having any issues?

I may be completely wrong, but I believe there used to be or still is an issue with shutting down sometimes. The Kindle doesn't shutdown completely and drains it self until its dead.
(This used to happen to me a lot, I haven't used my Kindle in awhile so I may be outdated with all this info)
Hi, i'm running Paranoid Android 2.52 and since the last 5 days or so I've me experiencing the two following situations: the battery is fully charged, i start using the phone and it discharges normally, but when I load a heavier app it just shuts down suddenly with a low battery warning. the other situation is when i connect the phone to the wall charger after this issue, it starts charging normally but then it just jumps right to 100% with the same speed that it went down. Already checked the usage statistics but cant seem to find whats causing this, the battery just goes down abruptly.
Thoughts, anyone?
Try a different rom.. I recommend a Gingerbread rom with a kernel that supports battery calibration like Oxygen Rom. If there is no improvement after using the rom, calibrate the battery with this guide. http://forum.oxygen.im/viewtopic.php?id=723
If there is no difference, your battery is probably shot.
I've tried wiping the battery stats several times, re-flashing the rom, scripts and gapps, calibrating the battery and flashing rooted stock desire rom.
Is this method any diferent? I want to avoid moving to another rom if I can, i have tried several and i really like my current one.
EDIT: okey, I did as you suggested, flashed oxygen and followed the calibration steps. I was quite hard as the phone shut down as soon as the voltage level drop bellow 3201, but i managed. I experimented for a while on oxygen and the battery acted just the same as before. i have now reverted to jb, this time on AOKP v2.1. Is my battery ready for a replacement?
