Has any remedy surfaced to get the phone to notify of an SMS message while in a bluetooth call? Audible thru earpiece or phone waking, anything that tells me I received a text? Using a Motorola BT and Gosms Pro.
Using Handcent I have never had an issue over bluetooth. Just set it to tone on calls. That will come over your bluetooth while in a call.

Is there a way on this phone to be able to hear a notification sound for text messages while on a phone call? On my Evo3D it worked, it even worked on my BT in my car. Could careless if I can hear text notification over BT in the car, but it's really annoying to have to keep checking the screen for texts during calls.
Same here, would love this. My OG Epic did it.

I've got an issue. I've updated to the stock ICS ROM on my T-989 and now, when I receive or make calls, I can barely hear (and sometimes no audio at all) my caller when I'm on my handset, even though they can hear me clearly. All my volume settings are on high and noise reduction is turned off. When I'm in Bluetooth, I can hear my calls just fine. Any suggestions, peeps?

Since I ported my number into Google Voice, I have been using Hangouts Dialer as my go-to voice service on my S3. My calls will usually connect after a 3-5 second pause. I can then hear the other person crystal clear, but they can only hear my voice garbled and extremely low volume. It doesn't matter if I'm on WiFi or mobile data. It doesn't matter if I make the call or receive the call. I am currently using PAC-man ROM 4.4.4.RC-3. Does anyone else have this issue or know how to solve it? Is there anyone who has been using Hangouts Dialer regularly that does not have this issue that can maybe help? Thank you!
OK, so after further testing I have discovered that Hangouts is using the wrong microphone for audio. It seems to be using the speakerphone microphone (at the top of the phone) instead of the handset microphone at the bottom. Is there any way to switch the microphone that is being used for just this application?
After the update I had the same problem as every one else, phone not muting correctly or only muting intermittently. Another problem is short vibration on notifications. I have managed to correct both problems with a mix of 3rd party apps.
Textra - if you change notification vibration in its settings it carries over to the watch which allows the watch to vibrate as many as 6 times for incoming texts.
To fix the mute connected phone I just set a tasker profile to mute phone upon the connection of Moto 360 and un mute upon disconnection.
I hope this helps as it fixed my only gripes with the watch.
