Crossix mount swap is exactly what you want. I can't link right now but its in development. Follow the directions there. Must be rooted first.

u can try partitioning the MMC go DL the CWM for s-gt5360 then boot into it
you'll see an option there, 'advance options'
go there and you'll see the partition SD card.
next thing to do is have your apps transferred to your ext.
use darktremors/a2sd/link2sd. any or titanium backup.
im using romtoolbox for the apps2sd.
hope it helped
der u go.. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1432459
i use titanium backup pro (root and super user permission) newest version, in the batch menu there's a function to move user's data to sd card. And u can still use the apps like a charm without the risk of having any error like losing widget at all.

Move apps to SD
You can easily move your games to SD with "ES File Explorer"
but you need enable root acess to this application, so you can move all kind of data stored on your phone.
For non rooted phones, there are some applications that cant be moved to SD card
So the first step is obtain the root acess to your phone

Provided u got class 6 or above microSD.
If not, swapping will cause slow boot up of apps.
I think It will better if you can afford class 10 to swap between external and internal storage..

hey,i just bought ion (LT28i) and i'm new to android. so now i'm installing app and games, but it always installed in phone memory, not internal storage. btw, phone memory only have 1GB and internal storage still have 11GB. and seems have different partition.
so my question is, how can change install default location from phone memory to internal storage? my phone memory almost full and moving installed apps or games manually to internal storage is tiring. and i wont buy sd card in the while, maybe later. or someone have another solution? beside sd card, of course. (i have search and read that)
sorry for my bad english, and i dont know if its ok to post in at&t ion as mine is not at&t...
thanks

I would think you would know if you rooted it or not. But basically if you root your device you can go into a terminal app and type:
pm setInstallLocation 2 to have it auto install to external storage instead of internal.

i guess, no. its not rooted. i just bought and download apps. that's all.
i don't have external storage now. i just want to use internal storage, not phone memory. that's 2 different storage, right? (internal storage and phone memory)

With the ion there's internal memory, built in non-removable sd-card and then removable sd-card. So to have it install by default to the built in sd-card you have to root and do that command. Otherwise just move the apps manually in settings->applications.

When you attach it you're going to see your external sd card. If you browse inside it you should see a folder called "external_sd" or something like it, inside it you should get access to your internal storage.
I may be wrong though. Try it and let me know if it works.

Try changing usb connection to mtp. Im able to see internal and external sd card when connecting to pc, but the prob is, i cant copy files from pc to phone and vice versa. When connecting to PC using mass storage im able to see external sd but no internal sd,but i can copy files from pc to phone and vice versa. So my advice, if you want to see your internal using usb nass storage, try removing your external sd and connect phone to pc again and see if youre able to see your internal. I think this is known bug in cm9 since external card is mounted as emmc and not as external_sd anymore.

If you need to transfer files urgently into your internal memory, my suggestion is that you transfer the file to your external memory, then you use your phone to transfer files internally from Ext.sd to Int.sd

If your phone is rooted, you can use Link2SD. You will first have to split your MICROSD into 2 partitions and format the 2nd partition as ext2.
There are *lots* of tutorials on this; use your favorite search engine to find one.
Alternatively, use a custom ROM that supports external/internal SD swap, and reinstall everything.

Im having dificulties finding the storage swap mod for the S3. Can anyone help? I use alot of games and my storage is full!! (ROOTED)

Be careful..if you do it wrong when ever you try to install apps it will say "storage space full" and you have to Odin back to stock to fix..but if you do it right its a good thing to have..also use titanium backup and back IP the games you're not currently playing and save them for when you want to play them and restore.. read the thread carefully as I do not know if it works with jelly bean if you're on that.
EDIT***** Theres also this link
