Asurion replacement warranty. - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

So here's what's going on. My phone fell off my nightstand a few weeks ago and cracked (on my carpet somehow). So I called Asurion, paid the deducible and had them send me a replacement. Well, the replacement continuously dropped signal. As in, completely. No calls, no texts, no anything. It would go from four bars of 4G to "Searching for service" and back. (See attached images.) So I called them and had them send me a replacement for the replacement.
This one is actually about ten times worse. It's done it numerous times just in the past hour. I emailed them the other day and they left me a message yesterday asking me to call them Monday to "go over different options that [they] may be able to offer me in order to get this taken care of."
Anyone have experience with anything like this and have any idea what that might mean? Is there a limit on replacements of replacements I can get under their replacement warranty? I'm just trying to figure out what I'm in for from Asurion and how to prepare my "argument."
Thanks in advance for any information you may have.

Dash Got Wet... help?

My Dash recently got wet (it was my 21st birthday), and now I have some (major) issues.
For a while it wouldn't turn on, at all. Then, after taking everything out (battery and sim card) and letting it sit for a few days, then recharging the batteries, my Dash turns on as soon as I put the battery in (rather than waiting for me to push the on/off button).
Then all my alarms from the past 2 weeks start to go off. As soon as I push ANY button, the Dash shuts down. End of story.
Is my beloved Dash completely FUBAR?
Thanks in advance,
David
Magic 8 Ball says: Signs point to yes
My opinion.
Remove the battery from it for 3 days.
Open it up (the phone)
Air dry the whole phone for the same amount of days.
proceed to assemble the phone back, insert the battery back.
Clear Storage command and hopefully it will set everything back to normal.
Cross your fingers.
Most likely its dead if that is happening. Probably fried some of the circuits on the board. If it is still under warrenty, you can try calling customer service and just tell them it stopped working. Don't offer up any information as to the cause.. This worked when i broke my screen.
"Customer service? Yes. My screen no longer works... Ok, we will replace it"
However, you may get dinged with a replacement fee of $100 (t-mobile) if they find that it was not the fault of the actual hardware. However, this is usually far cheaper then buying the phone again.
Interesting tho, my dash survived being fully emursed in a bucket of water. Never turned off, and still have never had any further issues. I still laff at it, i wish I coulda seen my face as I watched it sink to the bottom.
I would just call customer service and see what they say from there.
If you tell customer service what actually happened, you will have to buy a new phone. That is something I know they won't cover. Be vague and unsure of why its doing what it is doing and most likely you will be taken care of.
Thanks guys. I'll let you know how this goes (crossing fingers... but not expecting much)

[Q] Do you get a spare phone while my phone is being repaired

My Desire has boot looping issues (overheating while playing games and charging etc).
So I am going to take it back to Car Phone Warehouse tomorrow.
I do not own another phone.
And I heard phone repairs can take weeks.
While my phone is sent for repair would I get a spare phone?
I am a student I can't afford buying another phone while this is being repaired.
If you have insurance with them then you might, otherwise nope
No insurance
Edit: On average how long will it take to repair
O2 didn't ask me if I was insured and have offered me a courtesy phone when I inquired about repairing a fault with my HD2. So it won't hurt to ask, they only give you a beat up £15 Nokia.
i got the same issues with mine for the last 2 months & getting worse as time goes on.
9 mths old so still under warranty.
just contacted the seller 777-mobile waiting on a reply. mine will be in the mail thursday to be fixed.
in a 30 min call it rebooted 4 times cell was @ 27 deg celcius & i have a split sytem air con set at 24C pointing down at it & the cell sits on a laptop cooler fan as well.

LG G3- Warranty Void After Dropping Phone

Some advice please
So a while back my G3 suddenly wasn't able to find any coverage most places I went. Nothing else was wrong with it, it was just that there was no mobile coverage 80% of the time. The problem occurred one day as it was just in my pocket, nothing was wrong with it beforehand.
So, of course, I took it to the warranty service to get it repaired. Now, the phone's been dropped a bunch of times and it has some tiny scratches on the display and one on the back. It's definitely possible that the my problem occurred due to dropping it but, as I said, when it broke, it hadn't been dropped in some time.
In a few days, I get a phone call in which they tell me that the phone has been repetitively dropped, as can be seen by the scratches, and the motherboard and some module(don't know what exactly they were referring to) must be replaced. Now, obviously, the warranty doesn't cover mechanical damage so it's a paid service. The amount they asked for was around 430 dollars. Now, I'm obviously not going to pay a 430 dollars as I can just get a new phone for that money but I just came here to ask, if I take it to another service, would it be possible to be fixed and, theoretically, for what price?
Thank you in advance!

uBREAKiFIX Repair VS Google RMA

I've been having an issue with my phone having a loose speaker grill ( bottom speaker Mesh ) and have been afraid to send it to the warranty center because of how long the process takes.... i didn't want to do an advanced RMA, so had to do the standard one...
i called google a bit ago and they told me that in order for me not to get billed and have my phone same day i can go to uBreakiFIX physical location here in california and have them do the repair on it, they gave me the number so i called.....
when i called i explained the problem, and the tech was very kind about the whole deal.... asked me what was wrong, so i told him i had screen burn in and my speaker mesh was defective and he simply said to bring it in for a two hour repair... i called in at 5 pm pacific , and asked him what time her closed, he said 7 pm pacific, yet still told me to bring it in cause they would stay extra time to get my phone fixed after closing if needed, which i thought was awesome for him to even say...
i will be taking my phone in tomorrow to hopefully get the screen changed, (speaker mesh comes with new screen) and hopefully get a new battery for the phone as well... i mean.... if the battery has been discharging abnormally rapidly, why not change it at googles warranty expense at the same time they already have the phone open right??? I wanted to share this with the community just in case anyone had the worry of sending the phone in and being phoneless for about two weeks mind you this is just for certain states

Asurion replacement on way... Send back?

So while on vacation my year'ish old S20+ got splashed and I got the "water in charging port" message. Well no matter what I did I couldn't get it to go away. Had to go out and buy a wireless charger to get through the rest of our vacation.
Anyway, after 3 days or so of the message not going away I filed an insurance claim. A replacement phone was sent out and will be here in a couple days.
However, sometime late last night (nearly 7 days after getting splashed) the message finally went away and I can now charge my phone (and access data) through the port.
I don't know, at this point, if I should follow through on the replacement exchange or just keep the phone I got. I know they're sending a refurbished unit but at a year old it's probably no better/worse off than mine. And I don't really care about the deductible. And I am concerned that it took so long for the unit to recover from a not-major splash (literally was just a small splash of water).
What do y'all think? Take the swap or keep existing unit since it's gtg now??
