I just noticed this very weird issue. I am trying to update my ROM from Vicious's 4.1.1 v1 ROM to the CM10 build, so I went to backup my apps first. Upon opening the list of apps, the app only sees one app on my phone -- Google Wallet. There are NO other apps in the list. For the option to backup all apps, there is just a "1" there. I'm not sure how this happened or when.
Has anyone seen this before and know how to fix it? Thanks.
Check TB's filter, it may be showing only non-installed apps.

Check your filters. Make sure there's nothing in the search field and make sure all apps are selected, as opposed to just backed up apps or something similar.

THANKS! That seemed to be the issue. There was a filter term for "Wallet" -- not sure how it got like that. But Thanks Again!!

Hello guys,
My problem is simple. I have tried some apps and games taken "from internet" and now market when try to update it gives me an error. This behaviour is OK but.... If i want to really buy this app to make the update I can't!!
I have tried unistalling it but market always says ne only "download" and i can't make the checkout!
So how can buy and app previously not bought??
Thanks

Have you tried to use Titanium Backup, I have not had this issue, however this app got a few options that could help you. Look into 'Market Tools' you should be able to unlink an app with the market.
I am not 100% it would solve your issues but it might help.

Thanks but this solution not fix the problem.
I have searched here and here I have found that the only solution is to downgrade the market to version before 3.x!! I think is not a good idea but If i want buy an app i can't...

This is interesting, but I guess there must be a different solution. Have you tried to buy anything with the old market then ? If it works maybe with some reverse engineering it would be possible to know what has changed. Maybe it depends of the protection used to protect the app and what was doing the crack. What about buying the apps using a browser on a computer ? It is not so bad for the users considering they can still use the applications/games however it is not good for the developers (They are losing some potential customers).

I have made my personal fix but I not think is a very good solution. Now I can buy apps but.... If someone can found better solution will be fantastic.
Simply i have made a new Google account and with tb i have detached the cracked apps from updates so now my market notify updates only for really bought apps and free.
When I want to bought cracked app i use my new and clean account.
It's not really bad solution but I really want use only one account...

Have you tried purchasing from the market on the web, rather than from your phone?

Edit: ...tah. They just updatet market to v3.4.6 - it's named Play Store now. But the cracked-app-problem is still there... as if they wouldn't know anything about it... it's rediculous.

As a developer myself, I would say stop using cracked apps! Most apps have their free version equivalent available.
And more importantly, most developpers will refund you if you don't like their app, even after that ridiculous 15 minutes test period!
I can understand Google not caring about users using cracked apps, but nevertheless I agree that Google's attitude is often causing problems to app developers!
Like download issues, payment issues, license issues, to name a few... And those 15 minutes makes user get immediate refund if they have any doubts! Whereas the old one day period can give user a chance to figure out how the apps work.
Needless to say I receive daily feedback about purchase and download issues, which should actually be taken care of by Google. They are the distributor after all!
This issue has been fixed in the Google Play Store 3.5.16 update.

Here's the link to download Play Store if it hasn't updated automatically for you yet.

When you press uninstall on a sideloaded app, Play Store notifies you that you haven't purchased the app. So you can buy it now.

So I have some weirdness happening. For example if I search titanium backup the program itself doesn't show up......only the key which in have purchased. I can't for the life of me find terminal emulator. If I open up a browser window, go to play.Google.com and search, there they are. If I download from web browser and send to phone play will fc when opened. These are 2 examples there are many others.
I have cleared data/cache for play, uninstalled updates for it. Cleared cache and dalvick and all the usual 1st steps. I haven't changed pixel density and I'm running swipers miui 2.3.2b1
I am having the exact same problem right now! I can never seem to find TB anymore, only the "key" (unless I search through google, as you mentioned). Same thing goes for "Scramble with Friends", and a couple of other apps. There's no rhyme or reason to it that I can find.
Any ideas anyone??

For the sake of trying to troubleshoot, what from are u running. I was thinking maybe it was a miui thing and was about to nand back to a sense rom to check.
I am having the same problem. I'm running the latest Mazwoz Beta 5 Ics rom. Idk what could be causing the problem.

From what I've been able to gather, these issues are specific to the new 3.5.15 version of Google Play Store. None of my paid apps show up.

I'm currently running MozWaz Beta 5.0. But I believe I had the same problem on Drew's Alpha 1 and Decks PB9.
So I reflashed the exact same rom I was running b4, let play store update automatically and now everything is fine. All apps are back. Not sure what got borked but it was worth it.
I have same issue. I'm on swiper's ics, a lot of my apps say "your device is not compatible...." or the apps are installed and running but not under my apps in the market.

Only solution I could find was reflashing. U could also try uninstalling play store with titanium and installing it again by grabbing an apk for it
Well the topic says it all. Is it possible with any mod, hidden menu or w/e?

Like seriously, don't search for the vukkuons of posts that already cover this exact question.
I did, basically all that threads I found talked about volume+, and in the app description on play store says that is not working properly on JB.
Also I don't really need an app but a mod or kernel modification. I just need it for Skype video calls and I don't want to have an app running in background all the time for notifications.
I'm confused, should I say sorry for my -10000000 times asked question- or Thank you for your kindness?

Not able to do it on jellybean as of now.Google is blocking something on the speaker modification or idk I read it somewhere. It sucks I know.

Try Trinity Kernel (http://derkernel.com/jbtuna.php#). It's a kernel mod that allows you to tweak a bunch of settings. It gives you an option to do a volume boost. I have mine set at 2 and it's LOUD.
You can also download the Trinity app from Play Store, that way you can download the kernels and flash via CWM.
If this helped you, hit Thanks
vG
You can also use something like DSPManager and just use the equilizer to push everything to 150%.

Bugless Beast 4.1.1
Hi all
I was just wondering if it was possible to ignore an app update from the playstore, and not be notified of it or have it in the "update" list? Basically the new youtube app doesn't work properly so I uninstalled it via titanium and installed the previous version. Getting rid of the update request will allow me to batch update other apps without fear of restoring the broken youtube.
I tried the "detach from market" option in titanium pro and then rebooted but it didn't seem to work??
Cheers
I think once you have ignore one time it will not pop up everytime
Personally i do so

I've wiped multiple times in twrp 2.6.3.3 and done it three four times before flashing a ROM through Odin again. I even went as far as doing an advanced wipe and wiped everything including the system. Buy my problem I'm having is I'm a little confused as to why when I flash a ROM with Odin, I keep getting the same wallpaper I had with that firmware. I didn't even have that wallpaper before I started this from stock. Its the p600ztubnb1_p600zztbnb1_home.tar.md5 file. Its like my tablet just remembers what wallpaper I had with that firmware. Even though I wiped everything. I even took my SD card out before wiping. Any ideas? Or am I a worry wart?

Just trying to be to the point. yeah maybe Google is backing up and restoring it every time you reset I don't know just an option. Unless the recovery is not really resetting the tablet

Is the OP using Samsung backup/restore services? That one saves the wallpaper for sure, I have been teaching myself to the point of softbricking the device how to recover, to bring it back to the same state I like it etc. So yes, sometimes online services might be giving you options that drive you betty. You can call me Al.

I know Google has the backup and restore setting and you'll see it checked when setting up your ROM on first run. A quick look on the net some people think it also backs up wallpaper. I've never had that happen but then I don't flash much anymore...
