I love roms but I noticed that Cyanogen doesn't have very good controls for the headset accessory my phone came with. So is there a good stock from that has all the nice features but no bloatware?

I uprooted my phone it becomes a task to be looking for updates, stock works great on battery and everything else love this phone

So really their no need for custom roms

Depends on your needs or wants. I can't live with stock TouchWiz for more then a day or two. It is very sluggish and I notice way too much lag in things. I vote AOKP in a week or so. Its not 100% yet but very close too and stable for some. If you don't know what you're missing then don't worry about it, and stay stock.

It depends, I haven't seen anyone saying gs3 is sluggish at all, I certainly can't find any problems with stock besides bloatware and carrier iq, for my needs 8t works great out of the box I used to root all my phones and put new rims and what not but this time it has a lot features integrated and more and the phone has pretty good battery life so I'm set

Hey guys. Was wondering if someone could recommend a rom or rom them combo for me. Ive tried kyans rom and like it a lot but prefer the stock theme. I cant seem to find the theme anywhere so im now in search of a stock rom that has the same imorovements kyans does. Like faster launcher, no delay with the home button and just more accurate functionality over all. If anyone is currently running a rom like the one im looking for please let me know. Thanks

Hi everybody. New to the world of android, roms, kernels, etc. I want to know various opinions on what is the best rom available mainly for battery life and debloating. I want my wifi calling and multiwindow. Also a good kernel for battery life. Just looking for opinions thanks.
from my Galaxy Note 2 using Tapatalk 2
Anybody?
from my Galaxy Note 2 using Tapatalk 2
Well if you want both your gonna have to run the stock rom for now with the latest ota. For the best kernel I really like asylumcore. Also in the n7100 forums you can find the neak kernel. Its very nicely featured and on a bunch of samsung devices.
You should try the Jedi X Series if you don'y care about WiFi Calling, and Jedi Master Series if you do. Trust me, it's amazing!

He said wifi calling and multiwindow are important to him, so jellybam is out.
I agree though it is awesome and even though I miss some stuff from stock, such as multiwindow and the ability to access the notification bar from full screen apps, I am stuck on jellybam

I love the AOKP that has S-Pen features built in!
No comment on the kernel, sorry. I don't have your device!
MyRom v3. Based on stock, includes MW, wifi calling and lots of customization. Ive been running it for a few days and so far, so good.

Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
You should definitely root if you want all the extra customization/tweaks that are available now. I'm on the MOAR ROM. Best one I've been on and I've tried a lot. Battery life is great with stock or Ktoonsez kernel.

Oh common Ed... OP Asked what THE PEOPLE are running :silly:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2013463
definitely root. I ran freegs3 v3 for a while with the ktoonz 747 kernel. I had great battery life and the kernel made it very snappy and responsive. I was also able to undervolt a LOT, however it gave me a few issues here and there once I did that. (mostly screen issues, lines while swiping in a few heavier processing apps, with a reboot on occasion).
Now I'm experimenting with freegs3 v4 which is still a beta. Definitely going to be great....but right now it still has a few minor bugs.
I'm new to the s3 came from the epic 4g touch, and I'm curious what the best stock rom is. I want a stable, fast, smooth, good battery life, and a everyday driver. So my question is what rom should I go with?

When I was running stock, I liked msg&chubbz ROM. Was a great everyday driver, stock with lots of customizations. Freeza's roms are about as stock as it gets.
