So for some reason Odin sees my phone, and my phone turns on the screen when I plug it in, but I can't seem to access the folders from my PC. They just aren't showing up. I've tried every usb port and manually installing all the drivers. I did notice however that one of them keeps failing. It's called Samsung Mobile USB CDC Composite Device. Any ideas? This only started happening after I odin'ed back to stock root today.

Uninstall all the Samsung drivers, including any remaining folders in program files. Reboot. Then reinstall
Tried that didn't work. Gave up and did a factory reset and it solved the issue. It was odd. I uninstalled and reinstalled and rebooted both pc and phone many times.

It's been 30 mins, I pull the battery out, try to get in download/recovery mode and nothing will happen. Won't even charge properly or connect to the computer. I've looked at this link but it requires having it connect to a computer.

What the hell happened to my phone and what can I do to fix it? I don't care if the whole thing is factory reset.
Edit: Finally got it to respond to download mode. Now trying to restore it to FC09
Make sure you have a good cable and use the PIT file.
My pc isn't recognizing my aq4501 as storage but it is still recognising it in fastboot adb. Note that for rooting and installing cm12.1nigh.. i had some issues regarding adb drivers and that time following an article i deleted all the inactive drivers(with name Micromax, Google,Android..) and i updated to complete the flashing.
to fix the current issue i updated the pc drivers, tried another USB cable and enable/disable usb debugging but problem persists. Please Help!!!!!
my screenshots are here

Hello xda
I'm trying to root my Samsung Galaxy S8+ SM-G955U. I've never rooted a phone before and I seem to be running into trouble. I have download the correct version of Odin and what I believe to be the correct software, although I am a bit fuzzy on how to transfer everything over to my phone. I have developer options and USB debugging turned on. However OEM is not in my developer options and every time I try and connect my phone to my computer I get and error message. Ill attach a few screen shots for reference. I have the latest USB drivers. Can I fix this? Can I still root my S8+?
Thank You

Hello,
unfortunately the screen of my Mi 10 T Pro 5G is totally cracked in 1000 pieces and it cannot be used to operate the phone any more. Now i want to backup data from the device using adb commands. However, "adb devices" does not find anything...
I tried to get rid of usb drivers of other android phones and eventually i installed the miflash tool because (as far as i know) it contains the correct usb drivers.
USBDeview shows the following relevant entries now:

Also, Windows seems to recognize that the phone has been connected:
But adb still does not list the phone.....
Is anybody able to help, please ?

My Mi Max Helium is stuck on boot and when connecting to my PC, it shows as Unknown USB Device (Port Reset Failed).
It disconnects and connects itself randomly, appearing and disappearing from Device Manager (hardware problem?) as it I'm unplugging the USB cable and putting it back again.
I've tried installing the drivers, as well as forcefully installing Android ADB Interface which doesn't make a difference.
Holding the power and volume up button boots into recovery after displaying loads of errors. Almost any option I select in recovery shows more errors (no such file or directory) and it returns to the main menu.
Is it dead?
