[Q] Galaxy S3 and Adobe Flash - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

I'm gonna get the SG3 soon but Baltimore doesn't have LTE yet. I just read today that we will have LTE by the end of August (a month from now). The problem is by that time Adobe flash will no longer be available for download in the Market.
My question is does flash come pre-installed on the S3 or am I SOL if I buy the phone after August 15th (last day to download flash)? Or is there a way to get flash on the phone by side loading it?

If flash isnt in the play store when you get your S3 I'm sure the apk will be available here for you to sideload

Is multiview enabled?
If not, then I'm in no hurry to get att note2 lte.
I have international note2 with multiview,
it's really nice to stream live stock quotes while surfing web!

I went to a Samsung booth at a mall last weekend where they displayed most of their latest gadgets including the Note II and their digital Android camera. When I asked them about multiview on the Note II they weren't sure so I had to show them. I wouldn't be surprised if the AT&T staff was just as clueless. Let's hope people here will answer soon. If not I might stop by the local store tonight and take a look
i just picked one up where long pressing the back key does nothing. went to about phone - software update and it says no update at this time

I smell an OTA coming in the winds... One can only hope!
All Galaxy Note II does not have multiview installed by factory.....even the international version didn't have multiview by default....... it will be added by OTA update (when? who knows....but at least the sprint version has it now through OTA)...........
we just have to wait

[Q] Help! Anyone know of a stock rom for clockwork or something else NOT Odin?

Ok so I recently moved across the country and my pre-paid cell service I was using before is not supported in this state. I have been to every pre-paid provider in town and they are shocked they cannot seem to get my phone on their prepaid networks. I am using the toro CDMA Verizon branded GN. Everyone seems to agree they cannot activate my phone because I am running Cyanogenmod 11 and if I would just go back to Stock ROM I would be fine. Even people on the cyanogen mod forums.
The problem is I cannot seem to get this phone flashed back. I tried all 3 of the galaxy nexus verizon CDMA roms at this link:
EDIT: it won't let me post links because I am new. I was linking to the google galaxy nexus roms page.
Odin crashes whenever I try and flash. I spent 4 hours yesterday googling solutions to Odin crashing and none of them work for me.
My next thought was using Clockwork to reflash my phone to stock........................but I cannot find any roms flashable by clockwork.
Can anyone offer a link or advice? I NEED a damn phone here. I gave my self a cutoff limit of tonight. If I can't get this phone back to stock I am just going to buy a new phone tomorrow.
Thanks.

Who uses CDMA other than Verizon Sprint and us cellular? Even then i don't think you can take Verizon phone onto either of those carriers. That'll be your problem You can flash whatever rom you want but that doesn't change the radios.

[Q] Looking For NK3 update for SM-N901A

I'm currently stuck in a position where I can't get the OTA NK3 Update for my AT&T Note4. Details below:
- AT&T Note4 SM-N901A on 4.4.4 (build N910AUCU1ANIE)
- Unlocked via purchased unlock code
- Currently being used on TMobile network (Which is why I'm being told I won't ever see the OTA update)
If someone were to have a flash-able ROM of the NK3 update that'd be epic. (Or any other way of getting me updated for that matter)
As of now i have a nice new shiny gearVR paperweight.
Any thoughts?
I would call a Best buy and see if they have the Samsung Experience shop. Then talk to them to see if they can flash it for you. They have been able to do that for other devices like the S4
The easiest thing I guess it will work is borrow the ATT Sim card of someone using ATT Note 4. Plug that in and do update then give the simcard back and Thank you

Yeah a flashable tar would be great. I'll ask in the OTA thread.
Boo...

Just got back from my local Best Buy Samsung Shop, they hooked my note4 up and told me it was the latest version, they even re-flashed to see if it'd update but i'm on the same build as before. I'm currently looking for a SIM card to try to check OTA with, but all my coworkers are ATT iPhone users thus the sim cards are wrong size.
Getting a lil bummed. Think i'll ever see a flashable NK3 update? I was surprised sammobile / kies didn't even have any updates for me.
Just wait. Hopefully root is cracked soon. Would hate it if the NK3 causes problems with future rooting.
Woot!!

Solutions to get ATT Updates on other carriers

Wondering what solutions people have used to get ATT updates while using other MVNO's (I'm on Crickett and still have not gotten the security update - wonder if it hasn't rolled out to me yet, or if I need to do something creative).
I have an old ATT Sim card, but it is not provisioned, so it didn't help.
Would buying a ATT GO phone sim work? Would that only work once, or could that one SIM card work perpetually (i.e. another update 6 months from now)? I have two Note 4's, could one sim work for both Note 4's?
I also hear Best Buy could help, but I want to find a solution I can do in my own home..
Thanks!!!!
just go to best buy and get the phone updated thru samsung rep
You could try Samsung's Kies program.
Best buy is quick and easy

They won't flash just the update, but instead the latest entire firmware with updates mixed in.
In other words, when you get these OTA updates that aren't an entirely new OS (like going from Kitkat to Lollipop), they're just patching the update into your existing firmware, which also results in the firmware version changing. However, Best Buy will flash the complete firmware with the patches already included. They can't just give you the patch. Odin will do the same exact thing as Best Buy too.
Also, you'll need to wait about 2 weeks after an update before going to Best Buy. They told me that only some Best Buys in highly populated cities will get the update files immediately. It can take a week or two for your neighborhood Best Buy to receive the needed update files.

Note 4 AT&T Marshmallow Update Via Best Buy Samsung Kiosk

Just a quick shout out and thank you to those people commenting in other threads that suggested using a Samsung Kiosk at Best Buy for updating the AT&T Note 4 if you don't have a current AT&T account - AT&T does not push OTA updates to Note 4's not currently active on their network.
I just needed Marshamallow without root etc. for a like-new phone I was getting ready to sell after not using it for some time, and went to the local Best Buy's Samsung kiosk. 20 minutes later the phone was updated from a very early version of Lollipop to the latest version of Marshmallow, no charge. The local Samsung kiosk was staffed 11AM-7PM.
Again, my thanks. :good:
What did they say they did to update it? If you dont have ATT service how did they get it to update?

How is it running now that you've updated? Does it run better? Would you recommend it? Should I hide stuff that I don't want to be seen? LOL
It ran fine...I brought them a phone that was wiped, so I didn't have privacy concerns when I did it. I use Nova Launcher and SMS Backup & Restore so it's easier to back apps and setups up and do a full restore in a few hours, but this was a phone I was preparing for sale so I didn't care, and I suggest you take them a wiped phone in any case. I should add that not all Best Buy stores have a kiosk with this capability, some just have a Samsung sales display, so it's best to check first - I believe the stores with the full kiosk are labeled as the "Samsung Experience" when you view store details on the Best Buy site. Good luck.

Sorry I didn't see this earlier...If you go to a store with a full Samsung Kiosk (Samsung Experience) they can do an update for you at no charge. Good luck.

Sorry I didn't see this earlier - I just brought the kiosk the phone and told them I wanted the latest AT&T Marshmallow update, and they plugged it in and did it for me at no charge - they have the images available to them at the store without needing any AT&T connection. Good luck.

I went to a Samsung Experience and both associates said they didn't do them but actually it looked like they had no clue. I'll try another store.
