Hi, I have the following model :
Device: SGH-T999V
Region: VTR (Videotron)
Version: T999VVLALE6
OS: Android (4.0.4)
Release Date: 28.05.2012
Build Date: 27-05-2012
Changelist: CL633965
and i have issues where multi touch crashes some games. Worms, Street Fighter 4 and Eternal Legacy HD are all examples where after using multi touch functions, the controls will stop responding and the games will crash. I read that installing CM9 would fix such issues, but i dont really want to change ROMs only for that, as i am quite happy with Touch UI and the phone in general.
Is there a known fix for the issue? I have searched the forum high and low to no avail.
Thanks.

I started my journey in the Android world few days back. Previously I used Nokia 5800. Hearing so many good things regarding Android, I planned to buy an Android phone and at last bought HTC Desire.
My Desire in brief -
Screen: S-LCD (may be)
Model: A8181
Android version: 2.2
Baseband version: 32.49.00.32U_5.11.05.27
Build Number: 2.12.110.4 ...
Made in Taiwan
#1 I observed that some applications (Android System Information, Elixir etc) shows Max. RAM 415MB in my Desire. But it should be 576MB, shouldn't it?
#2 It doesn't show call waiting on the screen when the called party is in another call having call waiting feature activated.
#3. I didn't find any indicator of showing a diverted call.
Could anybody please make clear the above issues?
I believe that is because they did not include the RAM used by system.

Is there any solution of point 2 and 3?
Hi there,
Me and a friend both installed latest Franco kernel and AOKP Milestone 3 (including respective gapps).
I however seem to be seeing random crashes whenever I use my applications. Seems to be as a result of the keyboard, as it starts to get sluggish right before the crash.
What's odd is my friend isn't experiencing no such issues.
I've included the bug report is e-mails out after the crash. Anyone have any ideas?

Mod version: aokp_maguro_milestone3
I'm using milestone 3 and Franco 13.1. My phone has only crashed once however I do get the random bug report emails that generate every now and again.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
I had the same issues, but mine glitched alot. I switched over to gummy, and both myself and my phone are happy.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA App
Just odd since nothing is different between my and my friends gnexus.
I kinda like having AOKP though because its sorta 'official' ROM.... well future offocial
Hi, due to various strange issues, I decided to hit the upgrade button. After two major upgrades, my Galaxy Note 2 GT-N7105 ended up Android version 4.3 , baseband version: N7105ZHEMK3, Kernel 3.0.31-2139143, Build number: JSS15J.N7105ZHUEMK3.
My first impression is that the UI became ugly. The icons seem to be crowded and the used-to-be beautiful blue became ugly blue. I cannot explain but the UI seems to be ugly. Know what is happening? Is it because of the way 4.3 looks?

Today I wanted to see a 720p .mkv video and it was ridiculous, I've never seen a device lag this much. I used to bear with it before but now I'm really annoyed, I mean it's a Galaxy Tab, how come it can't even reproduce a 720p video? I'm determined to do something about it but I'm not quite sure about what. I should mention my knowledge of these things is almost zero. Can you please help me?

Try mx player with sw decoder, you could also be short on ram find an app called picuri-ram and put the full widget on your homescreen, tap it to clear ram.
I've recently been given a tablet and I'm looking for ways to improve its performance.
It's slow, freezes a lot and it's too outdated for most apps, including Galaxy Store. Google Play even crashes and closes itself regularly when I attempt app installations.
I'm a complete novice.
There are a few files around the forum from some time ago, are there any that are still good? Is there a list of downloads that I need, please?
Really appreciate any advice!
