Could someone recommend the CLEAREST case for the GS3 of good quality
I saw this: Cygnett Crystal Clear Plastic Case for Galaxy S3
and didn't know it was any good
I got a bumper case that is clear on the side yet frosted in the back, no good
I have had TPU S- Line Clear cases and they are half frosted
I am trying to find totally clear, no diamonds, thicker than the 2 set from Samsung very thin, and not the snap on for $2-$12 on Ebay
I would be very thankful for any ideas
Eric

Yes, I also think a lot on this case and later I'm not take this case for finally I choose iPhone 5 as my new mate...
no top and bottom bumper protection is a problem (not sure why there are so many cases makers that do this)
anyway I bought one of those snap on cases from ebay and it works fine and is totally clear

I also have the Belkin TPU. After about two months of use, its actually stayed fairly clean, only the sides are starting to change color. Its also rubbery which makes it great for absorbing energy on drops.

i have one as well, and it sounds like this is what the original poster is looking for.
to keep it clean, just get a bit of windex on a small piece of cloth, and wipe away for a few good scrubs.

I'm currently using the clear black version of this case on galaxy s2. Fits perfectly and feels very high quality in the hand. The ridged edges give a lot of grip which is good,Don't hesitate buying one!
orded, i like tpu cases (;
jodeltje said:
It does add bulk, but less than I would have expected. What I really like about the Nillkin TPU case:
+ Its very nice to hold due to the texture on the sides
+ Its easy to slip in and out of your pocket, yet its still pretty flexible
+ The cutouts are perfect
+ No problem using the keys, they still *click* on press
+ The part thats slips around the bezel of the phone is quite thin (compared to other tpu cases), keeping the phone itself, when layed out face down, protected against sand etc. but doesn't add unnecessary bulk.
I guess TPU cases get better as they go as this one is the best Ive used so far
Hop this helps someone!

People should be aware that the Verizon Galaxy Nexus is a different size than the UK Galaxy Nexus. The Verizon version is slightly thicker. I hope that does not interfere with the fitment of this case. I am purchasing the phone on Friday, but I am holding off on cases until I read more reviews.

I don't have the phone yet. The Verizon model is being released tomorrow, therefore, no one has been able to make a "Verizon specific" Galaxy Nexus case. I will most likely buy the cheapest case they have at Verizon and use that one until more people report back about fitment. Better to be safe than sorry.

Thought it was delayed? Unfortunately, I think its going to be awhile before we get more accounts of what accessories fit our Verizon model, IF it ever gets released....
I want to make sure: This case is TPU not silicone, correct?
Lol. That's why it is called a tpu. I forgot wavy tpu exactly my stands for but definitely not crappy stretchy silicone.

Let us know how that screen protector looks.
my requirement for dry apply screen protector:
-protector edge sticks to phone all the way to edge. (Most of the dry apply protectors have the last 1mm of the protector lift).
-no rainbow effects. I hate it when there is an ugly rainbow effect. totally kills teh phone.
hey guys,
I have a sgs2 and my case just broke (just wear n tear did not drop it) its the SGP Samsung Galaxy S2 Case Ultra Capsule - YELLOW
I really like colour but its barely lasted 4 months esp for that price...
Having read the reviews I see people are highly recommending both:
- case mate tough case
- otterbox case
trouble is i can only find them in black and I really like a colourful case but cant justify spending £20 every 4 months
So what would you do? Is there a nice yellow / blue reliable strong case out there or do I have to go for either one of the other 2 mentioned above, in which case which one would you choose?
Please help
Thanks
Pretty and tough don't mix well together.
I have the Case Mate Tough, it's a very solid case especially for the price ($16 on Amazon). My only gripe with it is that it's a dust magnet, but nothing a quick wipe can't take care of.
The Otterbox Commuter is similarly prices, and looks slightly better than the Case Mate, however I think it's a little bulkier. Yo can't go wrong with either.
If you want a coloured yet strong case, check out the Trident Aegis. I'm not a fan of it's design though.
is the back part where it covers the battery plastic or silicon like?
i have a imak black case and its has a plastic backing, i thought it would be bad at first but i realised it will keep its shape from wear and tear since its only the sides that need stretching.
chose wisely, the case had before this one would apply pressure on the power button and turn the phone off an on.

Hey Guys I'm getting a Galaxy Note (White) and I want a good Case that has the following:
-Slim, with little bulk
-White Preferably but can be different
-Raises screen from flat surface
-Covers Buttons Preferably but doesn't have to
-All around good protection and can take a fall!
If anyone has a case or knows of a case like that please feel free to leave a comment!
Thanks for the Help!

I have that case and absolutely love it. It's not too thick 3mm? I have no idea. But the tpu sides make it easy to grip and the frosted plastic back gives it a nice look imo. Cut outs are PERFECT too. pressing the side buttons can be a little hard sometimes though, but I usually use the home button to wake the phone.
I have been using a Rearth Ringke Slim since day one and I love it, especially since it has plugs for the charging port and the headphone jack. The screen protector they include is pretty good as well. It's a bit on the expensive side but I think it's worth it. The bottom lip was a millimeter or two off and they sent me another one. I think the white on white looks beautiful.

I can also second the SGP Ultra Capsule White. It does all that you ask for. The build quality is fantastic where the cut-outs for ports are near perfect. Bright white colour with a slightly glossy look.
Aslo, for the ~£18 you also get a very good screen protector.

Can anyone with an SGP confirm or deny?
If you like your case, please also tell us how long you've had it and the condition it is in today.
i'm also looking for this kind of case, can someone confirm whether the SGP Ultra capsule white is a finger print magnet due to its glossy surface?
I have the Boxwave White TPU with Frosted back case mentioned earlier. It's a nice case but a little thick. The back is pretty touch and is thick enough so that the camera glass is protected.
My biggest complaint is that it picked up blue stains from a pair of new jeans. Took a couple of weeks for the blue to disappear from the case. After about 3 months, the tpu sides are starting to have a very slight yellowish color to them. Tried scrubbing it with Comet Cleaner but did not help.
I also agree that the volume and power buttons can be a little difficult to push and the volume buttons kind of creak, its the TPU rubbing against the the button.
It's not my favorite case I've owned but I'm also not in a hurry to replace it.

when I say thin I mean THIN..holy cra mega thin case! And it comes with my one of my favorite screen protectors, the NANO clear.
This is for guys that are careful with their phones. as it delivers awesome corner and back protectors but the screen and top bottom middle part are a exposed. The nano gets rid of all potential scratches tho. And best part no bubbles
Remember one more time this is NOT for someone that want full body protection, but its awesome for those who want to retain sleekness
Enjoy!!

I personally believe that all ultra slim cases are pretty alike. They have some differences here and there but seem to be taken from the same mold. The difference comes from the added product (free screen protector, free shipping, some gift, etc). And the durability. This case is different than the ringke in many ways but alike to it in many as well.

Just got mine. It is beautiful. I bought a cheap tpu carbon fiber case off ebay that had jagged edges, horrible cutouts and just felt not right.. This thing is much thinner and cutouts are perfect. Its so thin it actually fits into the infuse 4g car dock (though barely).
only con is the top and bottom of phone are open to scratches. I just saw that the modello case was released and it covers the phone fully. Might consider trading for it. any thoughts on the modello?

Cruzerlite Bugdroid
I have been using the Cruzerlite Bugdroid TPU case. It has a slim profile while feeling quite sturdy and able to withstand a drop. All my friends who have the OnePlus One have this case. It comes in a very very wide variety of colors, too. The only downside is that it does fade after a while, but it really isn't that bad or too noticeable. The price is very reasonable for the quality of the product. It is easy to find on Amazon.
Hope this helps.

Make sure you get the one I linked to, with the slightly bigger corners, better protection
I've had the Diztronic case for around 7 months now and it's been perfect. Protected when dropped, not too bulky, slight raised lip on screen side to protect screen when placed screen face down.
The only negative I can think of is that it does add a bit of weight to the phone, although I'm sure that is inevitable based on the protection it gives and also the sturdy nature of the material it is made from.

Exactly... you want protection? Then you're gonna feel it
Try a casemate barely there on your phone and see if it protects... makes me wanna cringe immediately
I wouldn't wanna droptest with that on, or any other "lookyoucanhardlyseeandfeelmebecauseIamsothin" case
if you like TOTAL protection i recommend TWO cases TUDIA OMNIX and POETIC. i have the TO and my experience to it is that the covers of the audio and charger ports are not good if you use them for a prolong period of time they dont go back easily i mean there is a small part of the cover that tends to stay open.
FOR POETIC, i saw reviews both Oneplus.net and amazon they say that it is much better than TO it is much thin than the TO and the ports are much better.
Another great feature about the Diztronic is the way it covers the side buttons and gives them a more sturdy feel. I got another case previously and it had cut out for the buttons, but it was a pain trying to press them as the OnePlus One's side buttons are so small.
