Got a 4S and this phone has been nothing but awesome so far, amazing battery life, timely updates, camera is AWESOME! And app variety is much better and smoother on iOS
Yeah I've moved to the dark side, only because the nexus has been nothing but disappointments, also some people on this forum aren't helpful at all, I posted a thread asking why my battery life is crap, all I got were "herp derp OP is a troll"

DIY T989 saved matte black bezel

So I decided to risk it and do this. I used 1500 dry/wet sandpaper. This is fool proof with his high grit the paper is. With that said it takes like 3 hours and blistered fingers to complete but I'm glad I did it. Phone looks new again.
Tape off the front and trim with razor using between the bezel and glass as a guideline, and remove battery cover, you don't have to take off the back, just remove the cover:

Next just get started. I found that placing the sandpaper on my couches arm rest, and just moving the phone itself worked waaaay faster:

Thus is for people who have scratches, like mine since I bought it used at a nice price. Instead of rising breaking a 200 dollar LCD just to replace the bezel, you could save it down and get a nice matte black color and even paint it after.

Hello guys so i want to start by saying i'm coming back to android after a whole year=]. So basically i was the biggest android fan boy, i had about every android phone: G1, G2, Nexus One, Mytouch 4g, Galaxy nexus and the list goes on. I really got bored of android for some reason nothing was really changing so i jumped on the Iphone bandwagon. I love my iphone (currently the 4s) but im just bored of it i really miss android and want to go back. Since its been so long ive been disconnected from the android world so i really dont know about the new stuff or what phone i want to get. Right now i have sprint and im not due for an upgrade any time soon. I would just like for you guys to give me some suggestions on what phone i should get, right now im thinking the galaxy nexus because its the last android phone i had and i really really loved it. thanks in advance.

It's pretty strange to call a guy a dumb ass for using an iPhone. Last time I checked they make calls, texts, and apps run. Not sure what the problem is. My GNex is great, but i have a 4S as well. There are many apps first and only for iOS, and if I am going to a party or club its the best for photography (compared to my GNex). I would say Nexus 4 given your current choices. Nexus is always the way to go, and it has great specs.

Yeah, go under lock screen settings, click the information ticker and it gives you the option of news, Facebook or stock but doesn't seem to work that well, always says no info to display

If Samsung puts the 5.7 inch screen in the current frame, then I will get it. If they go bigger, then I will have to pass... I can not see myself walking around with anything larger then my current SGN2.

I was reading that the screen is going to be 5.99 inches thats still a good size if they go any bigger it would be consider a tablet so they wanna stay under 6 inches then it would still be in the category as a phablet.

5.5 inches is just about right. If they go any bigger, then i'm throwing some moolah LG G2's way just to see what that's about. Heard rumors of 5.7 inches and 5.99 inches which is just pushing it for me. A friend of mine in the U.K got the Galaxy Mega 6.3 inch and jeebus, that thing is huge and just weird. Also saw a video comparison of the Sony Xperia ZL 6.4 inches vs the Note 2 and lawd, that thing was massive.

I also am planning on getting myself a SGN3!! I really hope we get the octo core version

Then you're going to be disappointed. Latest rumor is that the octa Exynos is for non-LTE handsets.
I'm not tempted at all. Love my N2 with AOSP on it.
