[STOCK] [DUMP] SGH-i727 Skyrocket 2.3.6 UCKK1 system

Here is the OTA from the Skyrocket, its Android 2.3.6. It will work for our phone as is, but will need some att stuff in settings gone. Probably as simple as using our setttings.apk, idk. DO NOT TRY TO FLASH THIS, its just a dump. For the devs, if they dont already have it.

Just did. Its gonna be more work than I thought. Endless fc's. The devs will definitely be able to use it though.

And, now that I think about it, this probably wont do us much good. Ill see if I can get those guys to deodex it for me.

xultimate deodexes without being connected to the phone now thats awesome

I digress... my folder just hadn't refreshed to show everything yet. Is this the same dump that was posted in the AT&T fora?

Out of curiosity i flashed one of their roms. No major issues if i flashed jugs kernel except downloading apps from the market causes a reboot. Doesn't do that on their kernel but screen rotation is weird with theirs

Black screen after Google splash?

I updated to Jellybean OTA from IMM30D and it was working fine. Now my phone won't boot and just sits at a black screen after the Google logo. Any help? :/

I had to go to work so I don't have any more details , but I checked kies and it said dot there is a L i 4 update and is downloading right now.

Photosphere is only available on 4.2 ROM's/cameras. I don't think Samsung would include a feature from 4.2 into their 4.1 ROM. Oh, and why is this in development lol? I reported this to get it moved to general. This was probably also for the i9100 not T989...

No the SGH-T989 not is a International model. The international is the I9100.XD

Doing it now. That's the good thing about using my GS2 as a backup phone.

I just had the update notification, but when I hit the update it just rebooted into recovery.I can just update it thru kies correct? Or do I have to un-root first

4.3 Canadian T889 Update in effect as of this morning Nov 26th

It appears that Bell and Rogers have started updating Note 2 to 4.3
Unfortunately no word on Wind or Mobilicity just yet

This particular canadian variant of the note is very similar to the T-Mobile in that it is a CDMA phone. Hence the t889 and t889v variation. This is why we have to share with T-Mobile dev.

Kitsap is a county in Washington State. Home to the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard.
Apparently you have to be a Department of Defense shipfitter or stevedore for your Note 2 to get the official KK update.

No it will not work. I believe eZ and a few others are trying to get it working though.

I don't know much about softwares and updates and these might be stupid and annoying questions but
When Samsung releases the 4.4 update for the note 2 can users download it immediately from Kies(computer) or do we have to wait for At&t to release it??

i317 is AT&T's model and the N7100/N7105 are international versions (GSM/LTE). Samsung will release the base for the i317 to AT&T but it will not be released by anyone but AT&T.... and DG by leakage

I wish I had another i317 to flash the international 4.4 leaked rom to see what would happen.
I think the modem should be the only problem. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Pardon my noobness, but are you simply saying that if this was somehow successfully flashed that the phone's internal modem won't work or be soft bricked?
I thought all Note2 devices were the same (had LTE) unlike the international vs US SGS3

The 7100 is a cdma phone and uses different lib files, modem files, and kernel. If flashed you will get a messed up imei and no connection to network even with correct apn settings.
