I want improve myONEv RC2.1 - HTC One V

Is there any possibility of improving myONEv RC2.1 by installing e.g. JIT or some tweaks packages or something like that?
Or I have to wait for next releases?

How laggy is your one v?

I just got my koodo htc one v and it seems to be really laggy, i did notice that it is running a very old version of the firmware(and no update as of yet) , so how laggy are your one v on the newest firmware?

My phone was laggy too when I still on 1.58.707.4 now my phone is super smooth than ever after its updated to 2.09.707.1. Alternatively you can use 3rd party launcher and I recommend Apex launcher

im on 2.08.401.2 and i don't have lagg at all, didnt try the other software versions since i updated to this version as soon as i booted the phone for the first time.
I'm using 2.09.707.1 and no noticeable lags however when i restart the phone, it takes time to respond properly. Proly because of the number of apps I installed.

I'm with Koodo. Just came from older P500 phone, Koodo is not much full of crapware but yes, could feel a little laggy anyway, of course the one V is entry-level after all. First thing I did was to unlock the phine then get the titaniun kernel and put kax frequency in overclock - myself, 1.4 ghz is enough for my needs. So, stock rom with better kernel made a difference. Thn I changed roms, personally I like modaco, closest to ICS with everything working right.
All if this to say that if you found your way to XDA, tinker with your phone ! The one V has good potential. That is the joy of Android and then there are some pretty obvious steps to get it to run faster and better.

Does titanium kernel support GPU overclocking?
Can we even overclock Andro 205?

Battery life

Does increasing your CPU( after root) make your battery life decrease ? Because I've noticed that from when I rooted my phone and installed setcpu the battery was draining faster.....Any advice ?

please refrain from creating threads which are already there http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1730713
u could have asked your question there also and someone wld have helped
dont create unwanted threads the useful ones are going down
and yes overclocking reduces battery life depending on your overclock frequency and usage

cool but isnt jelly bean like cyanogen mod because i was looking at the nexus 7 and they were saying that it is running jelly bean right? but how is everything like cyanogen mod9???
From what I know Jelly Bean's changes are internal. They just add project butter and some more stuff. After all, its 4.1 ,not 5.0. So its pretty much a patch/upgrade from ICS

It is not a patch upgrade in any way!
It is a whole new 'thinking' about how the system should have worked in the past and how should it work from now on. Project butter it was a pain in the arse to implement giving the fact that the UI is now rendered by one 'motor' - CPU. As a side effect - this way it is eating battery faster and lag should persist. By adding GPU to this calculation (lol, gpu should have been only for UI render in the first place) android will be capable of moving at 60 frames per second, not 30 or 40 how it is now in Donut/Eclair/Vanilla/Froyo/Gingerbread/ICS etc..
