3G sometimes doesnt turn on after call or no wifi

My wife has the CDMA Galaxy Nexus and I unlocked her bootloader and temp booted CWM and flashed stock 4.0.4. I did the same to my phone but have since rooted and installed a custom ROM. Anyways... there have been several times where after a phone call or not being in range of wifi when the phone is trying to switch to 3G but it's just grey for a long time and never turns on. I then usually put airplane mode on then off for it to connect and it will after that. The fact that this has happened several times is really annoying. Has anyone seen this issue before? I was just thinkng of rooting her phone and puting a custom ROM on but before I do, I wanted to check with this forum first.

did you flash the 4.0.4 radio? if not, try that.

It comes with the new radio already.

galaxy nexus out of service issue

my galaxy nexus was rooted and i had jellybean rom on it after few days my gnex went into out of service unexpectedly and when i try to call it says im on airplane mode and when it gets out of it it says out of service . i tried another rom as i thought it was because of the rom but no luck.i have also tried to relock it and unroot it using wugfresh right now i have android 4.0.4 stock locked and not rooted but still i have this problem pleasee reply asap

Dude I have the exact same problem. What's even more weird is that mobile internet works. No bars, can't make calls or send SMS but a can fcken browse the internet with HSDPA speed...great!

How did you fix it? I have same issue

Radio not working when wifi is on.

I've had this Samsung S3 for almost a year now, and in the pass week, my radio has been acting funny, It dropped the IMEI, and pretty must lost all connections with my 3G network, So I ended up wipe the phone and setting it back to the default S3 ROM, after being on cyanogen mod ROM for a few months. After a bit of fiddling, I ended up finally getting my IMEI number back, and it worked fine.... till I connected to Wifi. After I connect to the Wifi, my radio stops working period. Any ideas on what could be wrong?
I'm running a Samsung SGH-1747M, which is an AT&T version, although my carrier is rogers in Canada.

Like on my phone? how would i do that and Stock andoird right now was on cyanogenmod but was having problems for some reason...

did you get back to stock touchwiz android using odin or using recovery mode?

Yeah kinda figured that... i had cyanogenmod on my phone since i got it then i started having all these radio issues thought it was rogers but i guess not... then i some how lost my IMEI got it back and still having radio problems just worst now... Ahhh i miss my simple Windows Phone 7 now hahaha

[Q] Dropped Signal

At first I thought it was the ROM, but I flashed 4 different roms and still the same problem. Every time someone calls me it drops my signal, all my bars go away and whoever called me cannot hear me. Idk how to fix this :/

4.4 seems to require at least the 4.3 modem baseband, you need to flash it via Odin. Be careful on the version, note the one already installed and chek which one is the normal upgrade. My m919v only worked with it's specific modem.

Okay so I just returned to stock because I couldn't fix the problem .. so now i'm running android 4.2 and my wifi wont connect. Keeps giving me this when I try to turn on Wifi

No signal with signal bars

My phone has been acting weird ever since I got my power button replaced a while back. So anyway my problem is that my phone will show that it has like five bars and then just drop to zero bars/no signal. I've tried different radios, stock gingerbread and stock jellybean. I'm currently running cm11 after I came from stock jellybean. I've tried a new sim card no difference. Any suggestions is my radio going bad?

Need more details. What ROM or stock android version are you on. What radio installed.
And did you check your apn settings??

Checked my apn setting there fine, tried almost all the raidos i could find (as stated) currently using uvmc6 and i was on stock jelly bean(as stated) but im now on pacman 4.4 beta 1 running and im seeming to get the best service on this rom not sure why but i know its a problem with the phone not sure what but i know its the phone because if i put my sim in another phone it works perfect and that's a att blackberry.

Old but if it helps in any way, it may be the sim card /sd card board, u may have to replace it.
