Okay well I was just wondering (and this may be WAY out there)...
If I was to put a new motherboard from a Galaxy Nexus Verizon Model into a Sprint Model, would the motherboard fit?
And if it did, would I be able to connect to the Verizon Network?
I need an answer fast so if anyone knows it would be great!

I've seen some eBay auctions selling the Verizon GN LTE but they also say it is GSM capable. Just wanted to check with someone if they know there is such a variant. Or does the Verizon version support GSM and I just didn't know about it?
each handset has different hardware, completely different radios.
It's just ebay's default phone description and it's a mistake.

I figured as much thanks guys
I was wondering if anyone knew if I can unlock the Sprint Nexus to work with AT&T. If it can be done, can someone direct me to how I would pursue doing so?
Thanks!

I assume you mean Verizon, since Sprint doesn't actually have a Galaxy Nexus (yet). In any event, the answer is no. Verizon (and Sprint) are CDMA, while AT&T is GSM.
The Sprint Nexus isn't even being sold yet... wtf?
And when it does come out, no, it will never ever work. It is a CDMA phone. AT&T is a GSM carrier. End of story.
Hello,
The display of my Galaxy Nexus is recently broken. So I wanted to replace it by myself with one from Ebay. Is there a difference between the Verizon, the Sprint and the GSM Version or can I just buy one? I searched in the internet but I couldn't find anything reliable.
Thank you for your help!
Greetings Homer
My understanding is they're not the exact same as each other. GSM and CDMA variants are slightly different casing/connectors/etc..
Hello to all
I hope it's not a too stupid question but can I install a Verzion or Sprint Firmware on my regular Galaxy Nexus? I saw a nice firmware in the Verizon section and I don't know it's possible.
Thanks for your feedback and please don't kill me for this threat if it was a n00b question.
Never flash anything not for your exact device. Especially one that uses an entirely different network type.
The mobile components (HW, chipset etc..) are completely different between GSM (standard) and Verizon and Sprint .
Therefore you will have a not functional device for sure.. possibly a hard bricked one.
Is it possible to use the sprint variant on the Verizon network?
From GSM Modification SPH-L900 Sprint Note 2 and GSM SIM card mode for Sprint Galaxy Note II?
It looks like people have managed to use a N7100 sim/sdcard module to replace the embedded Sprint sim/sdcard module and used it to connect to non US gsm networks and continuing reading on the second forums seems to indicate the Verizon variant (SCH-i605) and the Sprint variant (SPH-L900) are quite similar at least for the backplate in terms of some antenna positions(I think?).
If I were to use a N7100 sim/sdcard module or a SCH-I605 module Sim & SD Card Reader SCH-i605 Samsung Galaxy Note II 2 Verizon 16GB OEM along with a Verizon backplate or modified sprint backplate, would I be able to use it on the Verizon network?
Sorry if i posted in the wrong place. I'm not very used to XDA forums at all, just enough to figure out how to root my Verizon S4 from reading.
