Firefox - Acer Iconia Tab A100

Mozilla recently released Firefox new version for Android, but it seems it is not available for A100.
THIS are the requeriments.
According to that information it could run in our A100, or at least in mine, which has the modified build.prop that makes the market think that is a A500, but even that I can't install it from the market :/

You can download it without the play store. Further into that page mentions it.

thanks !, i was looking for it on filecrop but only beta version, didn't know it could be downloaded from mozilla site

Nice find, How does the non-beta version run? The Beta one seemed to slow my A100 down a bit.

Beta from play store installs an runs fine for me. Using cm10

Hulu+ from Android Market

Hey all,
I'm not sure if this has already been posted. I just picked up the E4GT a few weeks ago and just started following the threads in xda. I found a thread where you could download the apk for hulu+ that supposedly works for the E4GT but I couldn't get it to work for myself. Then just playing around I got this to work...
1. Googled hulu with the standard browser
2. Selected Hulu Plus - Apps on Android Market
3. Complete action using... Internet
4. Selected install
5. Selected sign in
6. Complete action using Market
7. Accept & download - and you have it...
Android market says "Your device isn't compatible with this item" but it works perfectly fine for me. I'm not rooted or anything... completely stock. Thought I'd pass it on. Good luck.
I wish there was a boxee client for Android. That with navi-x repo, who needs Netflix or hulu!
The OPs instructions do work, but you need to pay for a Hulu+ subscription to be able to use the app (as I found out.) Useful to people who already have a Hulu subscription who want to watch it on their phone.
Ya, hulu plus works fine. I wonder why it isn't available for our phone straight from the market. You would think they would let the most popular Android phone in the world use their app.
On my Epic mobile phone.
Thanks OP
I've been trying this method for months and never worked. Had the yellow banner stating not compatible, but I bet it's the new market handles different

Dolphin Browser HD 8.5.1 APK (Supports Flash)

Since Dolphin Browser HD recently dropped support for Flash on all Jelly Bean devices, including the Nexus 7, people have been needing the old version of Dolphin Browser HD for use with Flash. Well, here you are.
APK Download: http://dl.apktops.com/app/201206/Dolphin_Browser_HD_8.5.1.apk
If you need Flash Player, check this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1771463
Thanks
Thanks OP, very kind of you!
*Edit - Although Flash seems to work fine, when trying to go full screen it crashes out immediately. Currently Firefox does not have this problem.
This is great. I miss the pinch to zoom and the more functional address bar though. Not a poblem.
Anyway to tell the Play Store not to update it?

As of right now, no. I guess that's the price to pay to have Flash working on it though.
Maybe if everyone keeps giving it 1 star for disabling Flash, Dolphin will get the message and add it back.

Thanked
Did this yesterday and it's been smoooooth sailing so far. I'm new to Android and this made things a ton easier. :good:
I wonder if there is a way to change the apk or program to make it think your are running ICS so it still enables flash, besides editing the build.prop. From the Google Play update log it sounds like its merely disabling flash on JB while still allowing it to work on ICS/GB, so the flash supporting part of Dolphin is still there, its just being disabled.
I've been using XScope Browser.
Seems like Flash support is a little bit better on that one, but I haven't tested it extensively. Amazon Instant Video can be played full-screen, which is nice. I tried that with Dolphin, but it kept crashing.

Anyone get Amazon Video? Mine force quits when clicking a video

So I followed the Nook instructions here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1352905&page=6
All but AccountAndSyncSettings.apk installed fine( this one errors)
anyway, I'm able to now view my library but when i click a video to view or play it then it just says "Unfortunately, Amazon Video has stopped"
Has anyone gotten the APK to work on the new (or old) Nexus 7?
I use Mozilla Firefox and a add on "phony" and set the add on to desktop. Amazon video works great then.

App didn't work for me either. Install latest flash apk and use a browser that supports flash like boat.

Sadly this is a core feature I need and will have to return my Nexus 7
is it possible for someone to make a custom ROM in the future that has this capability?

Adobe Flash Player 11.1.115.81+ apk

I had the apk from my tf300t and figured I'd give it a shot. Installed and working perfectly using Boat Browser. Haven't tried other browsers as yet.
Here is the url for the thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2190351
I just wanted to share it because the only other available guides for installing Flash for our devices that I've seen seem to involve a lot of unnecessary steps/videos/ad-based links, popups and even dead ends.
This is just a simple straightforward apk download and install.
Hope this helps.
I just downloaded the latest apk from their archives, and installed it as a normal app. Works perfect. You can keep current with this site. Just check once in a while to see if there was an update:
Just scroll down to "Flash Player for Android 4.0 archives"

Now that you pointed me there, I'm seeing my post was less than helpful. I really mostly misunderstood the guides that I followed. Sorry if I wasted anyone's time.

Chrome uses HTML5, and native codes to play videos. I've been able to play all videos in Chrome that only used to play in other browsers that needed Flash Player. It's a toss up now for me. If you like Chrome then use it. If you find a site that won't play videos then at least you can fall back to another browser that can use Flash Player like Firefox.

Yes. Just note if you're on anything before 4.1 you can just install from the Play Store. 4.0 is the last official version supported, but it still works even on 4.4.
