HI all.
Recently Im having a problem when I try to switch to full screen flash videos pressing the small full screen button of the flash player. They are not mobile adapted. The screen just become black and I need to force close the browser.
Im using paranoid android rom "pa-maguro-1.4c-18JUN2012-042608" and kernel "3.0.34-cyanogenmod-gf09409
Few days before I dont have this problem, but recently the Flash Player has ben update a few times and also the rom. So I dont know if is because updated flash or updated the rom.
I have tried a lot of browsers and all have the same problem.
I also tried to install a old flash player version and well, is solve for some webpages, I can switch to full screen but in most of webpages they ask me to install flash plugin.
Someone know about how to fix this?? maybe installing a specific flash player version not so old but not so new for make it compatible with all webpages?? (if this I would like someone to upload the apk)
Changing the kernel or something else?? is a issue of the rom??

I had the same issue on Paranoid. Doesn't happen on CM9. I'd say it's probably a dpi or phone mode vs tablet mode issue. Maybe try playing with the dpi settings for Flash Player? Sorry I can't help much, didn't spend much time trying to troubleshoot it.

Yes, is a bug of the Paranoid rom. After uncheck "hybrid mode" the flash works fine.
Returning to hybrid mode the bug still there, and after touching everything I discover is because I changed the status bar DPI to 160 for make it smaller than normal. And making the status bar DPI to tablet mode or phone mode the flash player works fine again.
So is that, the full screen flash player bug is caused by the status bar dpi. If you make it smaller than the default tablet or phone mode the bug will appears.
If someone can report this bug in the paranoid thread will be good cause I can not post there

I updated to 3.0.3 yesterday and since then I haven't been able to answer calls.

I'd go for a reflash of the ROM without flashing the theme. If the problem disappears, you have your reason right there
I get that problem when I flash ports to my phones. Usually the ROMs built for the actual device have less problems. I generally stick with those.
I had that problem with the stock ROM during the final bits of its life. I had to wait like half a minute for the touchscreen to start responding. It would work fine then.
Download the latest version of the theme, the FC problem with phone.apk has been fixed.

OK, so I have AOKP nightly build (Aug, 13th version) and whenever I use toggles to turn on camera flash while on lockscreen and try to turn it off again, it doesn't turn off and doesn't let me connect to the camera... I used Trinity kernel if that'll help, but no luck. Does anyone have this issue? If so, found any solutions?
I tried to fix permission, reflash ROM and wipe the data and do a clean install.. I don't wanna use other ROMs since I am loving this ROM... Got any ideas?

Yup, went back to original kernel that comes with AOKP. But the problem persists. I think it's just a bug... So I have flash off the toggles.. I have widget for it anyways
I just installed the latest gummy and wifi won't turn on at all, through settings, or through the quick setting. Is there a fix? I love the rom though as everything else seems to be flawless compared to a few others I tried that were crashing.
on a slightly different issue, I have no space, what's the best way to clean up data so I can re-install stuff I need? I tried a few things, but somehow I don't have enough to install stuff like the amazon app store.
the other issue I'm having is I'm not able to use a program to move apps to SD Cards
Sounds like Wrong Kernel. Please revert to the previous version of the Rom or flash alternate Kernel.
what version would you download then? and is there a place that explains the difference between gummy m and gummy 2?

I wanna question if somebody have the same bug or know the solution.
If i flash any Android 4.2.2 ROM my optimus g will work well at the begining but past 5 minutes i enter to an app and it dont work. Tried flashing differents kernel. Then I enter in any app even home or launcher and it turns black. If I lock the screen and unlock it, it will turn on only capacitive lights and the screen dont even turn on never, had to force reboot.
Please help me. I know some basics things but i dont know what is the problema with this.

I tried every ROM. But with Android 4.2 rom happen only, not with cm 10.2 or cm11, or pac 4.3.1-4.4.2, etc. Only 4.2 ROMs.
Any solution? why you asume is corrupted display driver? it have a fix?
Did you fully wipe before flashing 4.2 ?
Give cyanogenmod a try first.
And explain how the "app not working" goes for you.
Like you start getting force closes? which app exactly you are trying to enter into?

Having a problem with the BrokenPop 5.0.2 on my L900 (Sprint Note2)
I can't seem to dial out with this rom. I get popup saying 'Unfortunately, Dialer has stop"
Are others seeing this problem? Is this an rom issue or a setup issue on my end?
I don't expect a daily driver from an early alpha of this rom and do expect issues but I would hope that I can at least make phone calls, after all, the Note 2's primary function is a phone
What I have done so far.
DL and installed rom twice. Both DL check via MD5 OK
Using Philz 6.07.9 recovery
1. Backup internal sdcard to pc
2. Factory reset / Install new rom option
3. Wipe/format internal sdcard
4. Reboot recovery (selected yes to restore root notification)
5. Install rom
6. Boot rom
7. Boot into recovery
8. Flash Gapps
9. Did minor setup of things like Wifi, Google Login, Play Store, DL ES File Manager.
10. Try to make phone call using dialer (phone icon) and get 'Unfortunately, Dialer has stop"
11. DL another free dialer from Play Store.. same error message.
I'm open to suggestions on how to get this to work.
I do like what I see from my little tour around this rom, but not being able to make calls is a major issue for me even for an alpha release. For now I have fallen back to my trusty Community Rom 4.4.2 which has been rock solid for me.

bump.... a few people have viewed this posting .. anyone else having this problem? I have since try to install once again.. had some limited success with dialer, but then problem returns. even made a nandroid of when it was working.. still my favorite early lollypop rom for the l900
I installed Broken5.0.2, ran it for 24, and found it seemed to be one of the least reliable functioning loli roms for L900. I personally am preferring the LiquidSmooth 12-23 nightly. The LS rom has overcome the wifi/screen off hotboot bug, the keyboard bug, but still needs the manual GPS fix. Right now it offers hands down the most functioning options at this particular time and the phone is semi reliable??? Lol its doesnt FC but its buggy.

I've tried LiquidSmooth 12-23 nightly also.. one thing I had issues with was I have a OTG usb drive and did not find a way to unmount it. Did you find that function anywhere in LS?.. Other issue I have is no XPOSE support right now.. and I'm not a fan of the AOSP messaging pgms. Lots of things I don't like about TW .. but they make a nice messaging pgm
I did see a semi-workaround where you click on the carrier setting and it kinda resets the capability to make calls.. kinda hokey.. but it seems to work.. Lolllypop is still very early.. and I guess these are the growing pains for being alpha testers. Hopefully over time it will get more mature. Back on 4.4.2 for now.. everything works.. the thing is huge.. over 2gb nandroids using high compression.. but hey, everything works.. Thanks for responding.
