Profound bluetooth sound quality degradation since update. Cannot use bluetooth in my Ford explore anymore since updates. Uses to use it every day previously.

Haven't installed OTA JB yet due to the incompatibility issues with Volume+. I was reading reviews of the app called Speaker Boost. Had several with Galaxy Nexus users dated post 4.1 release saying it worked great one even cited ringtones. Obviously I can not confirm if they were 4.1 users. But anyone with JB installed care to give it a shot and report back? If it doesn't work it was worth a shot. Its prob a 1 out of 100 chance it works. Just an idea

Thanks for checking. And as of now I'm reviving my galaxy nexus. I dropped it in a puddle yesterday. Lost boat handset and speaker. Everything else was fine. Put it in rice handset works and speaker is a little muffled -_-

This made no difference at all to the audio level of my device?
don't works this kind of app.tried 2 weeks ago and did nothing
Loving this phone. I havent picked up my netbook for 4 weeks now because this has everything I need and with the milti-window i can multitask so i can say it has replace my netbook which is my main PC really. It would be great if it could replace my works desktop but no support for X-Kryptor VPN and can not by encrypted to the level my work requires.
What has your Note 2 replaced or have you tried not using you PC and seeing if the Note 2 can actually replace it.
My Note 2 replaced my previous Galaxy S II. I will never try to use it as a PC. I love my desktop and nothing can replace it other than a upgraded desktop only.
In current time we can't say it have replaced computer.
May be in coming time it will replace the PC.
Although today we can do most of tasks over this kind android device but still we have to wait...
The Note 2 replaced my iPhone 3Gs as well as my iPad 2, it does both phone and tablet things better.
Its replace my Samsung Galaxy Nexus, As someone else said it will never replace my desktop computer.
Ive stopped using my laptop as much as i used to. and ive sold my Nexus 7
My galaxy note 2 replaced my HTC One X. Did not regret that decision. This phone is better in all aspects except the screen, but that difference is minimal.

Replacement of a GS2.
I came from a Galaxy S2 LTE.
The Note 2 has replaced my laptop (at home) in fact my Note 2 is more powerful than my laptop. I turn on my laptop once a month to pay online bills and if my bank had an android app, I wouldn't even turn on my laptop.

Replaced my n4. I am still deciding if I should sell my gtab2. I like my gtab2 and it still gets a little nookie but the only thing it has going for it is and IR blaster, which isn't really worth keeping anymore. And my laptop is not going anywhere. I love my sager np5160. It can only be replaced by another sager notebook.

I personally replaced my beloved note 1...
I am absolutely pleased with this move as there is a big difference between the two devices as the speed is incomparable as is the user experience altogether...
I also have 5 computers at home and I must say that after this purchase I open my pc less often when I need to see my emails and browse the Web. ..

Hello my friends
I have a Galaxy Nexus phone runs on Android 4.2 Is there a way to increase the strength of the wireless network?
And also is there a way to increase the battery life? Is there a way to detect the health of the battery (Is it time to replace or weakened)?
Thank you

I use an app greenify and it increases battery life immensely
Sent from my GT-i9100 using xda app-developers app
There s no way to increase range of wireless, you can try ak kernel that have better WiFi driver but nothing exceptional. ..
Battery life is related to use, IMHO use app like stamina mode or greenfy is stupid for simple reason: disable data or wireless and force sync is not fix, IMHO don't increase battery life, the only fix is set notification timeout to 1-2 hours and remove stupid app:]

Open up your phone, solder a 6dBi antenna to the wifi antenna.
I like to use Tasker. When my screen is off turn wifi off, wait a minute after the screen has been on to turn back wifi.

Why would you use tasker to do this when this functionality is built into the Os?

I'm understanding no Bluetooth LE for galaxy nexus but can anyone confirm that the broken features in 4.2.2 are fixed in 4.3 like bad in call quality, bad audio streaming and no id tags that worked in 4.1.2. I have awhile to wait since I'm on toro but wondering if I should even be excited as I need these to work.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
Tags work but quality still sucks like on 4.2.2. Epic fail if you ask me. And no more audio controls were added.

Guess I can move on with life and not worry about upgrading to 4.3.

Howdy
I just got 4.3 on my Nexus - and the first thing I did was run out to the car and try pair it. Sadly it behaves just like 4.2 did - it pairs - connects for about 2 seconds and then disconnects - and that is the end of that.... I know it might be blasphemous - but I am wondering if an iPhone would at least work with my car .. I really don't want to go all the way back to 4.1 to get Bluetooth working! Sadly in my country you get a huge fine if found talking on your phone in the car - so bluetooth is kinda essential (and one of the reasons I bought the car in the first place)
