Hey guys, digging the One V and the Koodo price is a bargain even if I have to buy out the tab. How do I go about using it on my Virgin account? Just unlock and swap the Simcard? Never unlocked phone, what degree of difficulty will this present?

Hi
I just got a Wildfire S from Phones 4U today for £145 on 3.
All the phones they supply are unlocked. Make sure you ask for one on 3 though as that is the only network they supply it at that price for.

Hi all.
I'm considering buying an m8. A friend is selling one that is locked to the Vodafone network and I'm on ee. I've seen unlocked codes are cheap. My question is. Will it work OK on the ee 4g band? Or am I going to come across issues.
Cheers all.

It'll work, all the UK M8 are the same model just some might have branded software (e.g. Vodafone, EE) on them and some might be the unbranded version
I bought a Vodafone M8 a month ago, got it unlocked on eBay for 1.99. Paid for sunshine to get it s off and change the phone to unbranded m8. For you question yes it will work with all networks once you get it unlocked
Youre a gent, thanks for the reply !!!!!! Will take the plunge in that case

I am from Brazil and I am going to Neww York next week. I am looking for to buy a smartphone htc one M8 unlocked.
I have researched and I guess it will works in Brazil. But I can't find a physical store for to buy it.
I want a developer edition or a google edition.
Can someone help me?
You can try an at&t and ask if the phone is unlocked. My htc m8 is at&t on tmobile network, however I had ordered mine online.

If I buy a i buy the atnt one m8 is it possible for me to unlock it and use another SIM card ?
Would there be any issues ?
BTW I stay in India .... I already own the one m8 but I wanted to gift one to my sister too..... So I was wondering if it was psossible for me to get the one from the black Friday sale on amazon
You will have to buy an unlock code from eBay and make sure it supports at&t m8 and the unlocker will give you the code if your not in the USA
