Call yourself with another phone and leave a voicemail. Then delete it.

hey guys,
heres the issue im having, ppl leave voice mail for me but i dont get any notification, i checked the voice mail setting but it seems fine, what should i do?
What ROM are you using? If it's CM7 or MIUI then voicemail notifications don't work for Bell, Telus, and Rogers. I'm having the same issue and it's very, very annoying to say the least. You may also have to make sure that your voicemail number is entered in the call settings section and 'voicemail notifications' is enabled but depends on the ROM.
I posted in the Slim ICS rom (for Toroplus) but i no response yet so here i am. I flashed Slim ICS (awesome rom btw) and all is good but I have a voice mail and cannot listen to it.
When i long press the "1" key it says that the feature code is incorrect.
I also tried *86 and I got the same recording as well. Any ideas?
I am using T-Mobile's Visual Voicemail app and I can't turn off the notification for the regular voicemail. Every time I get a voicemail I get double notifications, one for the regular voicemail system and one for visual voicemail. How can I fix this?
I am running the Darkside.Evolution.3 V8 Rom if that helps at all.`
I'm currently running Slim Bean 4.1.2 on my Sprint Nexus. I'm really happy with this Rom and I don't wanna change it. I can't remember which Rom I was running (might've been a 4.2 rom like CM10.1), but it had GV integrated into the call log. So I could listen to the voicemails through the call log without having to go to the GV app. Can this be done on any Rom or is it only a feature that's built into the Rom I was running before?
Wow, I feel stupid. Mods, feel free to delete this post. There is an option in the settings to "show voicemail in the call log". I can't believe I didn't see that sooner. Well, hopefully this helps someone else.
I'm running the 10/1 nightly build of Cyanogenmod 10.2 on my Epic 4g touch without too many issues except I cannot get my voicemail to work no matter what I do.
I have new voicemails in my inbox but get nothing in my Sprint visual voicemail app and even no text from them. The only way I can know I have a voicemail is to call my own number - found this out the hard way that I had been missing a bunch of things.
I tried to install Google Voice because I heard this works well with cyanogenmod but even this doesn't work. During the install, when it asks to call that long number that starts with *2.... it calls for 3 seconds and then hangs up. The install continues without error after that, but again, new voicemails aren't sent to the app, so I have no way of knowing when I get them
I could really use the help here, thanks so much.
