Flashing with HD2 is much different from flashing on One X that I don't even understand if you're being ironic or not
I have a CWM backup pre-root. I'm on stock ROM. Do I have to load it and then install the update? If so, each time I receive an update, I'll have to do that?

In Switzerland we got this tiny update as well.

You need to restore the nandroid backup.
Flash the stock boot.img
Flash the stock recovery.
Now you are good to update your phone.

Any view on what has changed??

My case: before update, hox without wifi in places, where desire x had full signal. Now after update, availability of signal is similar on both phones. Again is possible use wifi in office :thumbup:

Revert Desire HD to stock

I have unlocked bootloader only and installed JellyBean - JELLYTIME rom with flash boot.img method. Thank you for help.

To revert to stock, simply flash an RUU from your are and carrier (or use a WWE RUU if its an unlocked device)

Apparently you need to re lock your bootloader before using ruu.

Ahhh yes I think this is because you've changed your main version (misc.img)or something like that, this is the exact same issue I had on my HTC legend. I was not actually able to resolve this issue myself, but I believe you need goldCard or super Cid or something like that.

If you have a goldcard cid does not matter just main version. You get that in. Fastboot usb typing in aa cmd:
fastboot getvar all

The 155 error is because your bootloader is in the unlocked state so you will need re lock it.

You need to find a RUU that has a Main version higher than 3.13.0.0, otherwise flashing will fail. If you get CID error, then the goldcard is not working. Find RUUs in www.shipped-roms.com
If you are still with the bootloader unlocked, just re lock it first.

Hey,
I've relocked my bootloader and now I'm getting error 140... I guess I've downloaded the wrong RUU file. Is there a way to downgrade the hboot version.. I'm currently on 2.00?

Hello people,
I will try to describe the problem more detailed way possible, everything begins to live in Brazil and here we do not have HTC, i have a htc one x 044 cid and then to kill him many times and always revive it and change room (came with the android revolution and I wanted the original) learned a few things about it.
well, a friend just import a HOX however it is the CID CN701 and I was wanting to help put the original (where it also came with the android revolution), after making the entire process of unlocking the bootloader installed the room I had (endeavoru_stock_4.19.707.3_Odexed) on his phone via recovery.
that's when the trouble began!
since then he did not spend more of the HTC Bright white screen ...
already tried over and over stocks and nothing working, already tried installing several roons alternatives like android revolution HD and maximus and nothing, tried to put img and different firmwares and nothing makes about 6 days'm strongly looking for a solution to make the phone work. ..
if some kind soul can give me a light I would be very grateful indeed ...
another thing, do not know if there is (seen in several forums and several people who contradict themselves) for a chance to hboot it influences the installation that ANY room? it was seeing the HBOOT and it looks a bit old (hboot 0.43.0000)

yes you first must change your CID to 11111111 and then to run any RUU.
Run this command fastboot oem writecid 11111111 and then run any ruu if not working change CID to HTC__032 and then run RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_ICS_40_HTC_Europe_1.28.401.9_Radio_1.1204.103.14_release_256469_signed.exe. it is low RUU but you have low hboot and after this update to latest JB

i tried with many roms from ir file and download some all other varient file aswell but getting same errot..
i think above radio version radio version 1.10.1403.1 file can helpful...or any other trick or ideas...

You're Super CID and S-off, so I wouldn't trust that OS version. what was your original ROM version and MID out of the box?
it seems only the right RUU can help you. and the wrong one may Hard Brick your device

check around in the forum and see if the Chinese variant is indeed A5-DUG. it's possible that it has originally been another variant and flashing the A5-dug has caused the soft brick
my guess is your original variant might be A5-DWG and this file is relevant. but ask around more and by all means, proceed at your own risk.

no its a5_dug...i tried with a5_dwg file...invalid devie id got errot...i thinks radio version invalid must be issue...but how to resolve this problem.please help experts...

no its not a5_dwg...i have tried a5_dwg firmware aswell with sd card update...and i m getting error on bootloader updating failed...
i think a5 _dug RUU can fix this problem ..

thanks friend But I can not install the room as you know I have bootloader unlocked, twrp recovery and root but I still do not get the S-off, I have S-on, download a nandroid backup 3.35.401.32 but I can not unpack it in a fat32 memory and twrp does not recognize it , Do you know any method to flash it with fastboot?

You will need S-Off i'm afraid. In the end 25$ are a good price for this

If you can't find a RUU in the M9+ forum that can be flashed on your device (and no, there isn't always a publicly available RUU for every existing firmware version unless you own a US HTC phone) then you need to contact Llabtoofer's RUU Service.

It's impossible to help you without knowing the current firmware of your phone and the firmware version of the RUU you wanted to flash. And as already explained before: There might not be a RUU you can use. In that case you need to contact the RUU service I mentioned in my last post.
