because HTC use different screen manufacturers
different screens have different colour temperatures etc. its just the way they are made. no software will 'fix' it. if you didn't have them side by side you probably wouldn't notice

thats true , never noticed it until i got both !
and my last question ,
htc_europe_wwe or htc_asia_wwe
or it is same

[Q] White or Red battery door??

Has anybody found a white or red battery door. I know there is one for the Original Incredible but is there one for the Incredible 2. I think the device would look even sexier with a white or red on which is why I'm asking.
Not yet, but with the white DInc2 coming to the market we should see a white one soon!

Dull Screen after Screen Change HTC desire

Hello, I have searched the forum for someone with a similar problem to mine but I cant find any info anywhere.
I cracked my screen by throwing my phone at a radiator It still worked and was nice and bright with cracked screen.
I have now installed two screen's off ebay from diffrent suppliers which are dull and pinkish in colour when the phone is turned on. I have tried to turn up the brightness but it has no affect on the screen.
Can anyone please help or come across this before. Surely I have not had two bad screens?
regards
Nick

It is far to dark to use. I think its just these cheap chinese screens that aint up to the job. Going to try and find a propper htc one.
Did you originally have an AMOLED and these are LCD?

White vs Grey, which one do you prefer?

Easy question. I'm going to buy this device very soon and I'm torn between the two. In one hand the white looks so 'in your face' and sexy, but i'm afraid it will get dirty extremely easily. On the other hand, the black is sleek and classy but honestly I like the white better; however, I'm afraid it will get dirty very fast and look bad.
What does XDA think? Which is your favorite color?
I think white bezels distract too much from the screen even though the white hox looks prettier, grey is more functional.
Grey because white will show marks more over time, also white makes it look to iphoney.
I have a white, had it for over a month and it's no dirty. Granted, I haven't been doing any dirty work.
Also, the bezel is pretty small, especially at the sides, you don't notice it, it's lively screen.
And my white one could hardly be mistaken for an iPhone!
Never seen a grey one, apparently the back goes shiny with wear.
White definitely looks better to me but I got myself the gray one because of the earlier mentioned worry that it probably will get dirty and white plastic tends to bleach (is this the right word?) and turn yellow over time and this might affect the future resell value (+ it looks really ugly). Also the gray one looks a bit more professional.
I have the white one, wish I'd bought grey

At first I definitely wanted the white one, but after a while I started to doubt and nearly changed my order to the Grey one. I had not yet seen either devices in real life, though I think I got a peek from the Grey device during class. It looked absolutely terrible imo.
When the white one arrived I was so happy I didn't change my order. Still am .
White would look really nice if the screen bezel was white. However with the black bezel its fugly!
I got grey. The white looks awesome but didn't want to deal with it getting dirty

I got a grey one because it looks classy and there is a sort of harmony between the screen and the color ( and i heard the white one get scratched more easily )
Grey will make it look bigger.
The white one will give the illusion that its smaller, you'll be looking at the screen only at first glance.

No..its the grey one that scratches more easily....
Let's make this clear, the white one does not get dirty, any marks I've got on it have rubbed straight off. Some grey ones have a problem with an oily shiny look when in contact with something for a while, infact its probably just the polycarbonate, the white one probably gets it too but because its white its much less noticeable. I don't understand what people mean by it looks smaller, but it Deffo looks better then the grey

I have a Nokia C5 its back side is of Grey colour look so shiny and attractive, you are right white colour can be easily dirty and if you got scratches or anything on your phone hope not, they will look so visible. But doesnt matter if you take care of your phone, If your mind says White then go for White.
White is definitely sexier. (Imo, the grey version is ugly as hell)

The grey one goes shiny if you scratch it or rub at it and it doesn't come off like finger oil/grease. The white one doesn't show these marks as easily. Honestly, if its durability from scratches, the white one is the better choice. Nobody knows how the white one discolours over months yet....that remains to be seen.
white only because when you look from the screen side it looks better, and i prefer the silver ring and not the brown (?) ring.
Grey all day...
White phones are for girls as good ol Jobsy said.

[Q] Bad/Stuck pixel problem

Yesterday I bought a new HTC ONE X (INTERNATIONALVERSION) phone and I am in love with it but today I have observed that a small white bad/stuck pixel has cropped up in the middle of the bottom of screen. This white bad/stuck pixel is visible in all colours except black. Please tell me what to do. I am extremely worried. I sold my last Galaxy SII because of the same problem and today this new phone has shown the same problem. What to do? Should I replace it ?

@ Jobiza
I am completely fed up with phones and their problems. This is my second phone with this problem. I have neither the money nor the time to buy a new one X. May be I replace it after 6 months.
If this is a bad pixel problem then why doesn't this white pixel dot appears in black screen?
It appears in all other coloured screens including white.

Which colour do u prefere black(titan) or white?

Which colour device do you prefere?
My first lg g3 was black(titan) and i did want white but they didnt have any then i had to get a replacment and even tho at that time they had white they would not let me have 1 so had to have black (titan). Well that phone was faulty it had bad pixels so today i took it back and they offered me a white 1. Now im not sure if i prefere the black as i think the black looks more premuim. Maybe this white 1 will grow on me. What colour have you got or prefere?

Obviously, it's a personal preference, but I've heard the backplate of the white doesn't look as good as the Titan coloured one. I'm not a fan of gold so "black" was the easy choice, though it's not really black, which is kind of nice as it provides a bit of a change from my black G2.
