Hi
I have a GSM HTC Desire from Chile that for some reason came with Windows Mobile 6.5 and I want to go to Android.
I assume it's already rooted because it has an operating system other than Android.
I also can't seem to boot into HBOOT...
Please help....
Either you cant read or you have been ripped off. There is no way you have a HTC desire with windows mobile.
You got a clone. Its not real HTC Desire. Probably, no android for you.

Trying my best to understand what he meant, I THINK he meant if it possible to put HTC Desire Sense ROM on his phone.
Hello guys. Today I sent HTC a message and I asked will our device get offical Sense 3.5 update. I asked it because HTC Explorer has offical 3.5 support and it's specs are similar to our phone.
Here is what they wrote:
Dear Dario Radečić,
Thank you for contacting HTC.
With regards to your enquiry,
Unfortunately, Your device (Wildfire S) does not support official Sense 3.5.
Wildfire S with android 2.3.5 and sense 2.1 and cannot update more.
HTC Explorer could be upgrade to sense 3.5.

That is true, we got great devs. And if our devs are having problems with with porting ics to WFS, they should ask this user, bcos he can definitly help them. He ported ics to LG-GT540 which have 600 MHz CPU, Adreno200 and 160 mb of ram. HWA, wifi, gps, data, camera, audio, everything is working on his ROM. I know bcos that LG was my previous phone
Sense 3.5 is already ported on our phone.

Yes, explorer only has armv7 cpu..

Yes.. they could port at least Sense 3.0 if not 3.5
Sad but not so sad. I'm already overjoyed with my current ROM from one of our great developers here.

But hopefully we could get update to ANDROID 5.0 Jellybean... not asking for impossible but i wont lose hope...
I too enjoy a ROM create from here.. Better than the StOCK..
This isn't surprising. We all know that we can't rely on corporations to do anything just for customer satisfaction. If it's hard, it's expensive and thus not worth doing.

just wait for htc to launch its official updates for explorer and leave the rest on our xda folks to make it unofficial and launch it for our very own wildfire s
We will have new phones and long forget the wildfire s by the time HTC makes an official update....IF they make an official update

Hey guys, i need help porting the HTC Notes app and widget that was originally created for the htc one x.
Its extremely helpful, as it syncs with evernote, and lets you do everything with evernote but faster.
I attatched some of the apks that might be needed, im not sure which ones we need and which ones we dont.
I have already tried putting them into system/app and changing permissions, but they do not work.
If we can get this ported it would help a lot of others, not just me.

No, unfortunately not. Since it has, besides to its special software, additional special hardwarelayers. Have a look on the attachment.

Xmoo said it should work, but after he gave it a try, it didn't. The hd7 unlock cable is basically an external powered USB OTG cable+microsd usb reader+microsd card (goldcard). It's nothing you couldn't build on your own. But It won't work because the HD7 gets S-Off'ed via Goldcard. Goldcards don't work on Tegra3 devices. Sorry guys, the OP has become really massive my fault!
a blank/bought java card wont help im afraid, as far as im aware it needs to be signed with HTCs private key so i wouldnt go buying one just yet

Yes, that's correct. But I ain't gonna buy it. At this early stage, it's all about gathering information. I will try to work step by stept with achieving milestones.

I am new in the modding world of android and i am enjoying myself to try different ROMS on my HOX.
I think that me, like a lot of other people, have the problem of wifi signal: the HARDWARE problem.
Everybody of us know that the problem is joined to hardware because when we press between the camera and the volume up of our phone with ours fingers the signal goes up.
QUESTION:
Is there the method to make return our One x with the LOCKED signature in order to have no problem with htc warrently?
I would like to have a specifical guide, not a general guide if it is possible, because i read somewhere that there is an idea of the operation, or that someone have sent is phone in Russian for to relock with the LOCKED signature, but i've never found a good guide like for example the good guide of the installation of a rom.
If someone could help me I would be very grateful for it.

at this moment no one has been able to get s-off or Locked on any HTC One X (INT) device you , as at this moment you are able to get re-locked signature after rooting your device
Mmm if i am not wrong i have read somewhere on google that someone had sent is phone in Russian for having it back with s off and special cid.. Maybe I am only dreaming

yeah, that's going to cost you money though. Might as well open it up and use solder or foil fix like I did.

There are services that offer you to soff if you send them your phone.
I wouldn't trust it, shipping your phone around the world just to soff honestly not worth the risk.
Even if you got it back to locked they still have Imei number when you unlocked.
