AOKP menu button addon? - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hey everyone,
I finally upgraded from the nexus one to the galaxy nexus today. I just finished flashing the latest aokp build but I'm really missing the menu button. Is there a way that I can add it to the nexus?

It's in one of the settings for the navigation bar, you can add it to be permanently there.

Custom Carrier Text Help

I've recently been making attempts to create my own mods, instead of bugging devs for ETAs.
I'm running CM9 official nightlies on the Maguro (GSM). I've successfully modded the navbar to replace recent with search and added long-press home for recents and long-press search for voice search But...
-Can the app drawer be added to the navbar?
-How do I change carrier text? I've tried the eri.xml from framework-res, but it doesn't work.
Any help? Thanks!

Hiding the nav bar with power menu / gestures.

Does anyone know if it's possible to hide or show the navigation bar on demand? I'm running bugless beast nightly.
I found another thread, flashed the zip, got soft bricked. Anyone know of an app or another way to do it?

AOKP if you're willing to change ROM's.
yes, aokp, slim ics, foxhound(theoretically all the roms sharing aokp settings) will do the job. they allow u to control or hide nav bar in power button menu.

Is there an app for nav bar

Trying to figure out how to get search button and menu button on rom doesn't have it built in to settings like many do is this possible or something like it

If you're rooted there are nav bar variants you can flash, for instance, I'm running one with menu button dedicated at the bottom left

At the bottom of the first post there are zips for different nav bar combos, i believe that's what i use and it also includes both the search and menu buttons you want. If you flash it, thank the dev

Full screen with gestures

Hi guys!
I have a question. And i'm sure someone can tell me if it's possible or available.
I know we can get mods to have a fullscreen possibility. But is it possible to hide/show the softbuttons by using gestures? For example: swipe up to show. Swipe down to hide?
Hope someone can give me an answer.
Thanks!

I think the cm team is working on a similar function, long press power and select full screen to show/hide soft buttons and notification bar.
Swype'ed on my CM10 Galaxy Nexus
It would actually be awesome to swype in to show the soft buttons and swype out to hide them
Yeah thats what i thought too! If i had the knowledge to build it. I did!

Hey all, simple question-
Does any Verizon 4.2 ROM for the GalNex come with color settings for the navbar buttons?
Thanks.

You can head over to the MMuzzy AOSP thread and check that out. It has nav bar mods with colors and more buttons.
