[Q] Trying to figure out what happened to Frankenstein ROM

The official thread for Frankenstein EC05OCE v3 has been closed, and I can't find a link to the ROM. I'm trying out new stuff and thought it sounded awesome. So any ideas what happened to it and where I can get it?

After he was banned he had someone else (or a fake account) post his work. Not sure if there's a perma-ban or if that extended his ban.

Also it could be from the fact that ecocce is part of ERA who have a few ROMS out. A couple(all?) of them were his work.

We have 4-5 members working on every ROM we distribute.
Ecooce is a part of ERA, and helps with the ROMS.

Hehe I know...I opened build.prop on the era eh06 unnamed and found ecooce commented out. I'm not trying to diss ecooce or anything...just passing along what I've read.

Yeah, he is still around and helping when he can. But nothing can be taken away from Kevin, any ROM that was made and ecooce helped, 99% of the work was done by Kevin or another ERA member, but there is no "I" in team right?
I'm sure a Frankenstein ROM isn't far off. And no I'm not him... (please let it be mods, no harm is being done here)

LoL,yep seems like the only place to find him...

For What It's Worth ---- regardless of whatever ecooce did to deserve a ban , Frankenstein ROM is still a very reliable ROM , but you will need to find a way to contact him to access it ...... I use it often

Yes 10 posts. Answer questions in Q&A like the ones for people who are too lazy to read ROM threads and want someone else to tell them what the best ROM is. You will get to 10 real quick.

It helps prevent spammers in a no nonsense arena and it forces you to get accustomed to the forum so that you do, do more, reading and post more meaningful posts!

[Q] Dev request for a Camera MOD

Greetings,
When I was on my Sensation less than a week ago, the developers, many months ago made a camera mod of the HTC Amaze camera. The software and shutter lag were greatly improved.
With the Epic 4G Touch, I have noticed that taking pictures which are zoomed aren't as pristine as when I was on the Sensation with the Amaze mod. Could one of the developers here work on modding better software to our phone camera's?
I am sure others would be appreciative and even donate if this could be done successfully.

why is this in dev section? Do u not know how xda works yet? Anyways when zooming for a picture they still look great. Did u view the image after taking it zoomed? The preview when taking a picture always looks like ****.

You kidding? He developed that whole paragragh he posted. He put all those words together to form sentences.
So just to prove you wrong, I tried to flash this thread in Odin but it did not recognize it. Then tried CWM and my gosh it worked! It booted up and I went straight to the camera app. I snapped a picture and amazingly the picture came out!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now I am not sure if it looks better then before but at least this mod didn't break my camera! Thank you OP, you truly fall in line with the top developers here. Good thing you have that donate button otherwise I wouldn't know what to do with my money!

Apparently reading must be difficult in this forum. As the title reads, this is a request for a mod to be made.
If you think the software on this camera is great, one word of advise go use other 8mp phones.
I can also tell you that the picture quality on the Nexus Prime is a lot better for the same camera. How could that be so if the everything is identical but the software? Since logical reasoning seems to be at a loss in this forum, let me answer it for you. Not all software is created the same. That is why different kernels can yield better performance of the same hardware.

You're right, reading is difficult on this forum since a lot of people actually don't read THIS STICKIED THREAD first. Also the Prime's camera is definitely not the same, it's a 5mp non-backside illuminated sensor. If you look up pics posted in the general thread of this camera, pictures look quite good. Your phone either has a bad camera in itself or you're just being too picky?

I don't see why it would. It could help cut down the nonsense over there. It really is ridiculous trying to find an answer over there because of all the wasted posts. As long as the OP logs useful posts in the OP I think this will be a good thing.

a.)CM9 will work no problem
b.)some recoding will be required to get CM9 working
c.)the same gargantuan effort need to be made again

Many said we would never see gingerbread. Cm9 is a "when", and i have no problem waiting for the epic devs to work their magic on their own time. Ginger has been official for less than a month, and samsung themselves are already testing other waters for us! I love my OG epic.

I've been made to understand that the CM team in general does not support this modification; if Deca, et al do not wish to I understand - I just wish I knew of a ready-to-use kernel that does!

i was using, the sleeperROM then i've backedup the apn, using apnbackup before turned into CM7.
then i restored the config, but still not work.

Good OC kernel for stock GB rooted with CWM recovery.

I am running stock GB and CWM recovery but am thinking about doing some overclocking without switching ROMs. If anyone has a stable kernel that is reliable let me know. I use same set up on Galaxy tab 10.1 with sock HC & CWM but run pershoots kernel to OC to 1.4ghz. Hoping to find a similar set up for my Galaxy S2 on Sprint.

ok, so it is in the wrong section... but my answer is not in the wrong thread as you stated. The mods will certainly move or delete this thread when they find it. I don't understand why you would hammer me instead of the OP for the mistake. If the thread gets moved (which it most likely will) why should I not answer the question?
