Samsung giving away free apps for select devices

The problem is, I don't think we have the samsung app store. In the comments, someone with a T-mobile GSII reported being able to get the apps. If someone does figure it out, please do share.
Update: Figured it out
Step 1: get the samsung app store (thanks TecQuality): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1305047
Step 2: Open appstore and install the apps.

Always a child at heart.

I'm more of a chess type personality so alot of those games don't appeal to me.

I completely agree. I gave up playing "video games" a while ago, and have no intention of playing them on my phone/personal organizer/music player. Its just a dopamine head game anyways. At last gambling you sometimes make out well while you burn out your dopamine centers. /end rant

I get a network error when I try to connect on 3g. If I attempt to connect on wifi it just times out. odd.

Haha, yeah I've been waiting for this game to get ported for a while now. There's still a few more that I hope to see. I hate hearing the whole "play me at this game" ... searching... searching... Android doesn't have it. "Guess you should have got an iPhone" argument. Despite some of the crappy reviews I'm seeing, it's playing damn smooth for me. And you can't beat free with no ads (yet?)

That's about the only thing apple has over Android..the vast selection of quality games. We're starting to slowly get em but it's undeniable the games are lacking on. Android. I'd love to play gta 3 and ufc on my gs2's larger screen oppose to tiny iPod touch.

we do have GTA 3

I've been counting down the days for this to come out. I've been playing it lately on my old iPad, but the tilting it around just sucks (especially with that slippery aluminium backing!)
I teetered just shy of a million points on the iOS version, now I need to prove to my friend the tilting is what was holding me back.
I've since put my iPad away since I can rock it on my Android devices!

Drool....DROOOL!!!!!

But those were just 2 that came to mind...there so many games that I'd love to have on Android fromiPod touch. Hell if Android made decent mp3 player other than the non expandable Samsung one or freaking 5 in one I wouldn't even got iPod touch.

This game is as awesome as it looks, looks even better on my GS2 , quick question though, for some reason when I'm on games if I don't touch the screen it auto locks as if the app isn't running, some apps like benchmark apps it doesn't do this but games like temple run and nfs it does, any reason why and maybe a solution? Thanks.

Yeah, it doesn't keep the screen on. I guess that'd be another permission people would cry foul about.

There's no concrete release date yet but have you signed up to be notified first? I did. I honestly don't know what it's all about but my girlfriend is going crazy over it. Lol. I suspect it will be out within a week or two.

I tried to find some decent reviews of Need For Speed: Most Wanted - they seemed to mostly say that the game looks neat but it's boring to play? I hate that you have only 15 minutes to decide whether to get a refund or not. The trial period needs to be longer, particularly if it's a game that has to download additional content before it's ready to play. I don't want to pay $6 if I have only a few minutes to decide if I like the game enough to keep it.
Triple Town is kinda fun. I like playing chess with my co-workers using "Chess Time". I got Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit when it was cheap, it's decent, but no "in car" view practically ruins it for me. No first self-respecting car driving game should be released without at least some type of in car view. My kids like "Where's My Water" and "Flick Soccer" by Full Fat.

Sorry, but, any game with "pay to cheat" ("micro transactions") is GARBAGE!
The game looks kind of neat, and the interface seems decent for a phone without a d-pad + buttons (such as the Sony X-peria phones), but I'm sorry, if you PAY for an app you should not be insulted with in-game purchases!
If you want to sell a game at a reduced price (or free) and limit what levels you can play, or how long you can use it before you have to upgrade to the full version, I guess that is legit but not BS like offering to "sell" customers more lives or better weapons. That is more offensive than a slap to the face, it pisses me off. $#@(&*! F#@KING go out of business to all you scumbag corporations that pull that crap!

Pinball Arcade is absolutely superlative for a pinball fan. Last update made it sporadically choppy and sticky left flippers but I'm sure this will be fixed. I like Air Attack HD. Blast Monkeys and Shortyz Crossword. I was looking for Zen Pinball THD but it said it was device incompatible, what's that all about?

Every once in a while a game comes by that the whole population gets hooked on then the game gets money hungry and people move on. For example words with friends, draw something, gun bros, etc
I just started playing family feud and again it has a concept with coins that stops you from playing.

Blood Brothers same as Marvel War of Heros. Your characters are called familiars and has different classes (common, uncommon, rare, epic and legend) that has different powers. Familiars can be go thru evolution. You can get stronger familiars by using mobacoins or going through events. You can also trade familiars with each other. It's a free game but can get expensive if you don't be careful.

You can also do the same with your friends and send them your invite code to get free stuff and a familiar.

Gaming

I was reading one of the threads in the theming section and figures I'd post this. If you do play games, what consoles do you have and what's you /psn Id/ gamertag/ etc and what games
Ps3:JehC92: battlefield 3 , shift 2, modnationracers. Borderlands, and mgs4. I lost about 10 games when I didn't renew my PS+ membership.

I don't play often, but when I do I prefer Dos Equis...I mean I play CoD:MW2, BO1, and MW3 on Xbox360. Gamer Tag: ThePhantom1997 I think, I will verify later...lol. However switching from PC to Console sucks for me, I really suck at Multi-Player so if you add me don't make fun of me!

I use the 360. I like all the fps but stick mostly to bo2. I suck at it as well but love to play. Even better now that my son plays w me. SuFuS01dier

I haven't really had the time to play after I finished college. However, right now I am rocking the Wii - Zelda Skyward Sword and N64 - Goldeneye. Command and Conquer - Red Alert 2/Yuri's Revenge was my go to back in the day...I even still have an account and will occasionaly go online.

I am SideFX on steam but my profile seems kind of wonky.

My profile name on Steam (if I remember correctly) is SmugAardvark. On XBL, it's JogCon.
I'm not playing on either all that often, but when I am, it's usually either a Portal, Forza, or CoD game.
