This app just uses marcusants xda thread about the known linux tweak. This guy just made it into an app it's the same as the "data speed increase wifi/3g/4g" It does seem to be working on CM9, much better than the 3g supercharger did. and nice to see him to have an option for non rooted phones as well
Got a 4000-5000kbps speed increase but also noticed my upload speed fluctuate between -1500 and +1500 difference. Very consistent speed increase though. RAZR MAXX on LTE
I made the tweak :/
Well, copied the idea from some Linux forums.

I just looked at that and it's pretty interesting, but I mean you should be able to look through the roms now and pick what you want out of it. It would be cool to see on our phones though.

lol that was funny
I'm using this on my Photon and it's pretty cool. Having the ability to install several different ROMs within the installer is very nice.

I can help someone set it up if they want. I do much of the work on Kitchen Sink. PM me if you're looking for tips
It would be amazing if it could be ported over to the E4GT, but I have no idea how one would do that, so all I can do is wait

It supposedly makes the rom smoother and manages ram better. Can tell you that there are several threads discussing whether or not it is worth it. My opinion is that it is not at this time. The rom and the phone compliment each other very well.

With 2gigs of ram, and an already efficient rom... It is hard to see how v6 is beneficial at this time. If you read zeppelins thread... V8 is under development and testing... Maybe that'll bring something beneficial... Time will tell...

Hmm, maybe someone with experience using this should benchmark it on a Modern ROM and let us know what the results are. I've seen people swear by it in the past, but have never seen much in the way of the results backing it up *Grin*.

V6 seemed to help on the OG epic.. I haven't attempted on this phone due to (as what is stated already) us having enough Ram to compensate. The OG epic was slightly lacking in that department lol
I use v6 on every ROM I run. When I first looked at the OOM settings on this phone they were so low nothing ever got killed until a few hours later. At first I thought v6 wouldn't make a difference like it did on my Evo because this phone has plenty of RAM but I feel like it did after running the script.

lol when I read the title post I was a little confused I was like wtf a car part for a phone?! Well it actually looks pretty good, BUT I will not test this myself until someone comes along with some information. Why don't you post in that thread and see if anyone knows.
I have used it. I found it actually made my phone lag more. Make sure to nandroid your current rom just in case.

I've used it before on my og evo 4g. Made it lag more until playing with the settings and setcpu then it was smooth and helped.
I recommend you take a look at Phakers thread on Placebo. He has many scripts made on/for our phone. Be warned though. There is a ton of info and random scripts for testing that you may be more confused after reading the long thread.
Currently running Jellybean Paranoid Android with placebo 2.0 and the "lite" script. But I just flashed new rom version and added the lite script so can't really comment now about this setup.

I used to run the v6 supercharger script on my old Huawei Ascend (yeesh!) and it's pretty good (in fact, I've still got it on my SD card lol). It's made more for slower phones though, from what I remember (please correct me if I'm wrong, anybody). I know it took away 90% of the launcher redraws on my Asscend. With our phone's gig of RAM though, I don't really see a use for it. Check out the thread for better info.

Seeder wrecked my battery life hard core so watch out people. I posted in that original thread a few months ago whenever it came out and the developer responded to me saying that our phones already have this tweak enabled. Because of that when you install seeder on the 747 conflicts happen. I'm not a dev so sorry if that is too basic of a explanation.
Essentially. Proceed with caution. My battery life dropped from 1 day to 4 hours after installing this.

I'm using CrossBreeder instead of Seeder, and my battery life has not taken a hit with it. Search for it here on XDA.
So I did a little research for this app
And dig deep and its a placebo.
It honestly just stops the CPU from sleeping. Nothing else......
This will drain your battery and screw things up if you're running any governors on a modified kernel.
Our devices are clocked at 1.5Ghz with 2gb of RAM.
if you're experiencing lag something is wrong and you don't need these kind of apps.

Hello everyone,
I'm new to the forum and new to smartphone enhancing. I'm currently running build 6 of AOKP 4.2.2 on my AT&T Note II along with Apex launcher; its been a killer combo for me so far. I would like to find a good kernel that will run nicely at 1800. I haven't been able to find many kernels compatible with AOKP however. Anyways, I just wanted to say hi and I'm glad to be apart of the community.

Welcome Matt! I don't have a kernel suggestion for you but I can tell you what most developers will tell you... You don't need to OC this device. I ran mine Oc'd for the first couple of months and it didn't do anything but drain my battery faster. Just a suggestion.
But if you're dead set on trying it out I'm sure you can find something in the development section.

Just know you pretty much have the fastest phone out there right now, and thats the only "benchmark" that matters...The S4 might be a tiny bit faster, but nothing you would ever notice in real world useage..
