Does the WiFi stay on even when the phone is in standby? If it does is it something to do with the always on data setting?

Hi again Bud,
By default when Enabled, Wi-Fi will stay on even when the phone is in sleep mode. You can set this by changing the following setting, if necessary:
Go to Menu > Settings > Wireless & Networks > Wi-Fi Settings. Now click the Menu button again and select the Advanced option. Select Wi-Fi sleep policy and then set the relevant option.
Hope that helps you out.

Try to search for "htc one x power saver settings" on google, and download it, and in that app untick the first option above the "minimal cpu" option. Sorry my device is not english, thats why i dont know the names of options if that doesnt work, look around in the default settings, what can set or affect your messages while in sleep mode...

I have some questions about blinkfeed on our htc one x. Is about the performance, the battery drain of the app itself and the data connection usage. Is it worth? I know the app will constantly be updated with the feeds you configure: facebook, twitter, newspapers, etc.. but the questions are:
Any screen with the battery usage of the app (gsam)?
Have you check the data conection usage of the app?
Regards
it only autoupdates on wifi

I find the battery usage really high in GSAM (frequently the highest app - although I only use Blinkfeed for a few minutes per day).

Can't find Blinkfeed
I can't find blinkfeed after installing ViperOne 3.5.0. I looked in Settings, Personalize, but all I have is Wallpaper and Customize Home Screen. If I select Customize Home Screen nothing happens.

Viper one.....this is the HTC one x forum and not the one forum !
Hello world,
unfortunately I can't post directly in the CM11 thread, as this is my first post here.
I am running the latest CM11 nightly (2014-02-04) on my HTC One X. Since the Launcher3 -> Trebuchet migration I fail to see how it is possible to access the Trebuchet settings.
From other devices it seems to me that there should be a "Home" entry in the settings. However, I can't seem to find it on our HOX.
(a) Am I blind and just can't find it?
(b) Is this a problem specific to my device, i.e. do you guys have "Home" settings?
(c) Is this a problem concerning CM11 for HOX in general?
Any help would be highly appreciated.

@Thomy: Are you aware of this issue?
Settings > home then click settings at the bottom
Edit just tried and the options don't work, seems it needs to be finished

So you do have a "Home" menu in your settings? Where should it be? Can't seem to find it on my device.

Just in case someone else walks into the same problem: "Settings -> Home" is not available when there is only one launcher (Trebuchet) installed. There is no way to edit Trebuchet settings without having to install a second launcher.
Ugly solution: Go to Play Store and install a second launcher, then the missing menu items suddenly appear.
I've never find home

If you click on Settings has gone home, and for a time was back there at the bottom of the menu Trebuchet settings now only the search icon.
